As the title says, this is a thread about UFOs. Seeing as the Creat Vs. Evo Thread was starting to creep into it, and it shall continue as long as it remains relevant, I thought while we are at it how about a discussion on UFOs. Do you believe they exist? If not then what do you believe is a reasonable explaination for the sightings. Thoughts on close encounters of the 3rd kind. That sort of stuff. Lets go.

I think "UFO's" is to definate, it should have been like, other life forms or something, to cover aliens etc..

I myself have never seen a UFO, or an alien, and as such, I'm extremely skeptic about them.

A little while ago though, I read a great book which had cases of UFO's, aliens, murders etc in it, it was great.

Some of the cases in it about the UFO sighting and stuff seemed like they may have happened, though they could probably be explained logically somehow.

I'll believe it when I see it.

OFF TOPIC: Jason, did you hear a fella with a Shotgun the other night? He was chasing me and Justin - Not cool.

Well, once a few years ago, I saw something that looked like an overly large star but didnt fit the look or movement of a satellite. That wasnt the definitive moment in my UFO interest but I think it would be naive to think that no other life it out there in the universe.

Yes alien has been stereotyped as green with big eyes and a tall skinny body or something. Maybe we should use the word extraterrestrial in this thread to try and break that stereotype.

Surely someone in the T-Dome has at least some view or interest on the topic. Surely.

I totally believe in UFOs. If there's an object in the sky and it stays unidentified, it's a UFO. No if, ands, or buts about it.
Now, if you're talking about other life forms not on Earth, that's a different story. I don't believe there are intelligent beings on other planets. I do believe that there are either single-cell or maybe even multi-cell organisms on other planets. But none of them are as fully evolved as the creatures on Earth nor intelligent.

I guess they could be real. Our solar system is young compared to all the solar systems out there. So planets out there could have life on them Billions of years ahead of us.*feels like a nerd*.

Lol When I was four I thought I saw a UFO. I turned out to be a kite. Who in the world flies kites in the middle of the night!?!? O_o

Anyway...

Yes, I believe in "aliens". Doesn't have to be invaders flying around in saucers and such. Just life on other planets anywhere of anykind, no matter how primitive.

I disagree with anyone that thinks that extraterrestrial beings might just be unicellular "thingys"... the reason for this is simply because if you think about the whole universe, far FAR away... you can't even imagine what goes on down there... Earth is simply less than a speek(sp?) of dust in front of the whole universe, or even less than that. It would be extremely arrogant to think we're the most evolved species at this time.

And yes, in case you had doubts, I do believe in aliens and I have seen UFOs as well (although the explanation to UFOs might not be so out of this world as we might think)

There was a thread about this in the old T-dome, where I posted some kind of shocking info... but I guess all of it has been deleted now =/

By defination, there are lots of UFOs flying around XD

I do believe there are other life out there... but I have yet to see them. Or, maybe it's just that we don't notice them? Possibly, there's one just right behind me now, just that I don't notice him/her/it/all of above?

Hey husk didnt kno u posted in the TDome.

You be thinkin of Area 51, but they had documentaries on it and most of the conspirators reasons for thinking it was fake have been proved wrong. Roswell was the incident where a UFO supposedly crashed and actually aliens and alien technology was recovered. It would have blown over if the US Government hadnt made it look supsicious with their explanation of what it was.
