While browsing Serebiiforums , I ran across a post that is similar to the one on Pokecommunity. It was a post made by User:AshLovesMisty and it talks about why the writers were unable (or unwilling) to bring back Misty. However, the odd thing is the administrator on Serebiiforums simply closed down that post for no reason at all (except for an ambiguous "This thread never needed to exist"). The question is , is Serebiiforums really user-friendly or not and if it is not why, isn't it user friendly. Note: I posted this in General Pokémon Discussion since I couldn't find another place to put it.

This is the part where I'm supposed to say that Serebii is evil and you should only post on Pokecommunity, right?

I've never actually been active on the Serebii Forums, so I couldn't tell you if it's user friendly or not (though I don't see why it wouldn't be). Just from general forum usage over the years though, you start to notice that some sites have stricter staff that always go by the book, whereas others are pretty lax, as long as you aren't breaking any major rules (I'd like to think we've got a happy-medium of that here on PC). Serebii might fall into the former category, but again, I won't speculate there, since I don't have any first hand experience. I do know that we've had a handful of staff members here on PC as staff on Serebii as well, so it can't be all that bad of a place :p

Unfortunately, this thread isn't really at home here in Pokemon General as it isn't a discussion about the franchise itself, so I'm going to close it (hopefully that's enough of an explanation!). And while I'd like to think that members here on PC wouldn't have anything too bad to say about Serebii, any issues/questions/concerns would be better asked over there instead. Also, if you're ever not sure where to post something, feel free to ask in our Community Questions & Feedback's Quick Question & Answer thread- plenty of people over there would be happy to help you!

CLOSED.
