Extra rules:
-Can only use Pokémon that are or evolve into Bug or Psychic-type
-Set battle style
-Three healing items per battle
-Only regular Poké Balls can be used to catch Pokémon, barring a shiny or Xerneas

I also do have my Black 2 going on, but I don't think i'm going to continue making small updates. I'll post the end results once it's all over. This, however, will be quite a bit easier to write out.
Spoiler:
So I started the game, chose the girl and named her Insectina. I got Fennekin as my starter and named it Witchcraft, beat Shauna, and after getting the Pokédex, I caught a Weedle on Route 2, which I named Hornet. Then in Santalune Forest, I ended up with a Caterpie that I named Margarine. I beat the trainers there, some of which actually left me low on health, and beat the trainers on Route 3 as well, so both my bugs evolved. I beat a couple of the trainers on Route 22, but not all of them. I managed to have myself a Beedrill and Butterfree before I got to the Gym, and beat one of the trainers before I got to the Gym Leader.

Her Surskit wasn't a problem for Hornet once I got in the poisoning, because Fury Attack hit four times. Vivillon proved much harder, as I had to tread with Margarine and lower her Speed, and she got me very low thanks to Infestation, so I had to use a Potion. Once Margarine was freed from Infestation, Witchcraft took care of her and killed her with three shots of Ember (because she healed after the first). I got the Bug Badge and stopped there.

Team:
Spoiler:
(M) "Witchcraft", Level 13
Nature: Rash
Obtained: Aquacorde Town
Moves: Ember, Howl, Scratch, Tail Whip

(M) "Margarine", Level 11
Nature: Brave
Obtained: Santalune Forest
Moves: Confusion, Harden, String Shot, Tackle

(M) "Hornet", Level 11
Nature: Lax
Obtained: Route 2
Moves: Fury Attack, Harden, Poison Sting, String Shot

The Departed:
Spoiler:
None yet!

And here you have it everyone, the finale for Victory Fire and the end of my first nuzlocke!

I'll be doing some bonus stuff like legend hunting and possibly a death montage over on my channel for any one who is interested. Enjoy :]

Additional info:
Spoiler:

Additional rules:
- All Pokémon must be nicknamed. Theme: Vegetables (provided by my BFF!);
- No held items (clause: evolving by trades);
- Shinies = freebies;
- No duplicates;
- Starter Pokémon decided by trainer ID's last number;

Should be good to update in a few hours; I have some chores to do before actually playing.

EDIT:

Well, few hours turned to be a bit more XD;;.

Since I've never played in Sinnoh as a girl, I'll be one for this playthrough. I shall name her... Lotus! I love lotus root tempura, so there we go. Plus it's adorable. As for my frenemy, his name is now Tomato. Why Tomato? Well it's a technical fruit used as a veggie. Thought it was fitting. (I almost called him Tom Ato. Almost.)

Lotus' starter is based on her trainer ID's last digit: I broke it down as follows.

1-3: Piplup
4-6: Chimchar
7-9: Turtwig
0: Coin toss between two, winner faces the third.

Her ID is 22623, so Piplup it'll be!

Update #1: From Twinleaf to Sandgem and beyond!
Spoiler:

Tomato ran into Lotus as she was heading to his house, and again as she made it inside his bedroom. Tomato, always in a hurry, ran up to Route 201, where he waited patient- haaaah riiiiiight. He probably ran in circles the whole time.

~ Verity Lakefront ~
Lotus and Tomato found Prof Rowan and Lucas near the lake, but the two took their leave early on. This is where Tomato suggested they walked into the tall grass *GASP*. Rowan left his briefcase behind, surprise surprise... AND BAM, ATTACKED.

Oooh Pokéballs! Lotus grabbed Penguin Pokémon Piplup and bravely defeated the mean, mean level 2 Starly. That's roughly when Lucas barged in, took the briefcase along with the Pokémon *pets poor Lotus*, and set out from the lakefront.

However, Tomato and Lotus caught up with "that old guy" and Lucas right near the town. Rowan looked at the Pokéballs the kids had chosen, probably frowned, then stared, and took off... somewhere... with the determination of a thousand men.

Lotus went back home feeling sad, got a small lecture from her mom about explaining things in person to Rowan, all the way in Sandgem Town. She also gave her a pair of Running Shoes and read her the accompanying instructions (and a second time for good measure, since mashing A is a thing). Equipped with brand new shoes, it was time for Lotus to go to Sandgem.

~ Route 201 ~
I have no Pokéballs yet, so the encounters don't count. No? XD;;

~ Sandgem Town ~
Lucas was waiting for Lotus outside, and escorted her to Rowan's lab... where Tomato once again ran right into her. Slightly excited, he didn't barely explained anything and just bolted.

Stunned, Lotus wobbled her way to Rowan's lab. Figures she got good news from Rowan, who's agreed to let her keep the Piplup. Dawwwww! Lotus has a companion that won't spend the entire game rushing around her! She decided to call the thing Okra.

Hi Okra, welcome to the team! Considering you're the entire team right now, that is. Okay, well, that's a bit false, as you have Lotus who'll take good care of you.

Rowan also gave her a Pokédex, which she can use to collect specific data... that has somewhat not been collected yet despite being clearly programmed in there. Lucas also got one.

Pokédex in hand, both youngsters took a short tour around Sandgem. Lucas also had a good point in saying she should go back to her family and tell her about her exciting new adventure!

~ Twinleaf Town ~
Lotus' mom has her back! Great! She also gave her a Journal (handy feature), and told her to enjoy the world. Tomato's mom also dropped by, and handed her a Parcel to give to Tomato (impatient lil' runt!)

Ready? Set? GO, LOTUS! GO! The world is your oyster!

~ Route 201 ~
Still no Pokéball, but that Nuzlocke almost failed already. I'm just one step away from the end of the street when a Starly decides to crit. I really though Okra could handle it, but down to 7HP with this Starly at just a bit below 50%, I just hit Run. I hate running from fights, but it was that or failing right after signing up. Which would have been beyond lame.

Pit stop in Sandgem before heading out. I'm pretty sure Lotus'll get some Pokéballs from Lucas, but I bought a few anyways - they're not necessarily lost regardless. Bought a few Potions and Antidotes too. Lotus then headed for Route 202, where it played exactly as I thought: she learned to catch Pokémon, and got 5 Pokéballs from Lucas.

At this point, she went back to Route 201 to catch something, which is... a Starly! Lotus caught Celery the Starly at 1HP, thanks to a Growl which slightly lowered ATK. Whew, that was a close one!

~ Route 202 ~
On Route 202, a Shinx-... was a failed catch because of Okra's crit.

I'm gonna whine here for just a second, but during my first Gen IV playthrough, I had a Shinx who stood by me during the entire thing, eventually becoming a strong Luxray - I think I still have him on the original cartridge. I really wanted another, but a crit decided otherwise. Ah well DX. Rules are rules, but damnit. DISAPPOINTMENT.

For now, Lotus needs a bit of training~! Stay tuned for more updates!

Update #2: Of (Jubi)life and Roark Fights
Spoiler:

~ Jubilife City ~
Lotus caught up to Lucas, and successfully delivered the Parcel to Tomato. She also found out about a campaign for Pokétch (I've always hated that name) and hunted down clowns for coupons. She aced each question, and earned herself a Pokétch!

~ Route 204 ~
Detour! First encounter on 203 was Starly, but the second was a Bidoof! Oooh. Lotus caught it and named it Potato, because what other kinda name was she gonna give it to him (IT LOOKS LIKE A POTATO!) Whether he'll end up as a HM slave or a valued member of the team~?! That's what we'll see as we move on!

~ Route 203 ~
Fight against Tomato!

Starly:
Okra, who's now lv10, has a speed advantage over the poor Starly. Took a few Bubbles to wear it down, between Growls and one Quick Attack.

Turtwig:
Sent Celery out; he has Wing Attack. Turtwig tried to turtle and use Withdraw, both times. The first time, Wing Attack took out 50% of its HP. The second time, it crit. Good job, Celery!

Our first encounter was... ohgodanAbralikewat. Now or never; I hit a Pokéball in hopes to catch it, you never really know. I don't have a move to Sleep it, or to prevent it from leaving the area. Of course, Abra teleported out. Well there goes my encounter.

Trainer fights went relatively well; nothing special here.

~ Oreburgh Cave ~
Lotus was stopped by a big burly mountain man as she entered. He handed her HM06 (Rock Smash) as she looked like a newbie to him. Yay, our first HM!... which Lotus can't use yet, as she doesn't have the badge. But yay, HM.

We got our first encounter near the end of the cave. A Geodude. Since I avoided Bubble as it would have probably OHKOed the poor thing, I sent Celery out and spammed Wing Attack. Geodude, on the other end, spammed Defense Curl. It was nearly flawless. Except when I switched to Quick Attack and crit. I'm missing 3 encounters right now. Painful. Part of the game though, so Lotus and I will have to roll with it.

~ Oreburgh ~
WHAT?! Tomato got his Gym badge and the leader took off to the mine?! UNFAIR! DOWN TO THE MINE, LOTUS! Tell 'im what you think!!

~ Oreburgh Mine ~
Zubat, yay! I know, I know, but I love Crobat. Would be a nice addition to my team, that is, until I hit the Electric gym, since so far, my entire team's evo lines have a weakness to electricity. Beautiful. Anyways, Zubat was caught and has been renamed to Yam. Yummy yams. I would have named him Frank because I really miss my Crobat named Frank from a previous (failed) Nuzlocke.

Lotus found Roark deep inside the mine, breaking rocks with *gasp* Rock Smash! Since he has a new challenger, Roark went back to his gym, where Lotus met back wth him.

~ Oreburgh Gym ~
Younger Johnaton has one Geodude, and it was a OHKO by Okra's Bubble. Youngster Darius' Geodude and Onix suffered the same fate. Okra the Bubble Devastator!

~ Roarke ~
Geodude:
OHKO by Bubble.

Onix:
It tried a Rock Throw and missed. Okra's Bubble brought it down to maybe 3-4 HP, only for Roarke to use a Potion on it. Bubbles then KOed it.

Cranidos:

Well here is something I forgot... ow. I'm a level under with my highest and erf, he's painful. Hits like a truck, has Leer, Pursuit and Headbutt... and caused the first casualty on my run: Potato. I thought I'd sent it out and spam Defense Curl... but I forgot he still didn't learn any Water attack. I swapped back to Okra after its death. Spamming Pursuit, however, was Cranidos' demise. Okra leveled to 14 right after the fight, but nnfffff I LOST MY POTATO AND I'M SAD.

You fought decently, Potato. Your death was a mistake, it could have been avoided, and I'm sorry DX. I feel bad about it...

But the show continues. Badge in hand, Lotus went back to the Pokécenter, said heartfelt goodbyes to Potato (I'M STILL SORRY) and deposited it in the PC, never to be brought again.

Let's see what the future has in store for us...~

Update #3: Potato-less journey towards Route 205
Spoiler:

After the death of Potato, Lotus had to catch an HM slave - I know it's coming up. It's currently boxed, and I'm not using it in fights.

I took forever to find where I'm going again. Tomato mentioned a bike, but I couldn't find a bike shop in Jubilife, so I went back to Oreburgh. Back to Jubilife. And up. Down, back to Oreburgh, and back to Jubilife... ... ... only to remember that I had Rock Smash, and there was a cave that needed it near Jubilife...

~ Ravaged Path ~
That was short. Really short. I didn't even have an encounter~... to the point where I backtracked after the Valley Windworks.

(Took a few encounters to find something that wasn't a Zubat. Talking about Zubat, Yam crit again while facing a Geodude, but this time, we caught it! Truffles the Geodude was added to the team! I was using one as an HM slave... well I have a full-fledged Geodude now. Also Makes me a lot less vulnerable to Electric stuff.)

Outside of the Ravaged Path, on the northern area of Route 204, there's the twins with the Pachirisu. I was so scared one of those knew something like Thunderbolt or another Electric attack. Thankfully, they didn't.

~ Floaroma Town ~
Heal my team, grabbed the sprinkler, a berry, the Pluck TM, and Lotus moved on.

~ Route 205 ~
Near the bridge, Lotus was stopped by a little girl, whose father went missing around Valley Windworks. Worried, she asked Lotus to help her find him... and Lotus couldn't say no to the little girl.

~ Valley Windworks ~
New area, new Pokémon possibility! Only one encounter to get something new... a Buizel. Because I obviously needed another weakness to Electric. We caught Kelp, and hopefully she'll fit in the team. (This is the point I realized I didn't encounter anything in the Ravaged Path, and well, Truffles should help a bunch now).

Defeated the grunt guarding the Windworks, and... grinded until I figured out where I was going.

~ Floaroma Meadow ~
Oops! Lotus is a witness to two Grunts harrassing a man. Without thinking, she walked up right to them, and handed their butts right back to them. Truffles, despite being a little underleveled, fought very well against the first Grunt. For the second one, I switched to Celery, and swiftly dealt with him.

As a reward, Lotus got the Works Key, along with a pot of delicious Honey.

~ Valley Windworks (inside) ~
Lotus used the Key and opened the Works building. The Grunts around were quite easy... okay, the single Grunt Lotus faced.

Then there was the fight against Mars. Zubat went down, no problem. But Purugly...

… OHKOed Celery. Yep, I'm mad. The Purugly's also at a higher level than my team, but OMG CELERY. I sent Okra out; Scratch took out nearly half of its HP. I restored Truffle's HP and sent him out instead; he should be able to... tank Scratch (BARELY). Faint Attack, however, was what she used against him. Twice. I healed up, spammed Defense Curl while tanking Scratch, healed up again, and just prayed that Scratch wouldn't crit often. It did crit the first time, but it got better afterwards. At half HP, Purugly's Oran Berry kicked in. Scratch crit again, but I had stacked up on Potions. Tackle missed a few times, while Scratch and Faint Attack never missed. It took a long time to wear it down, BUT WE DID! Truffles hit 11 after, and learned Rock Throw... which would have probably made this fight a tad faster.

BUT OMG, I LOST CELERY!! DX...

I made it back to the Pokécenter after the fight, and deposited my poor, poor Celery in the PC. Time to head towards Route 205 now...

~ Route 205 ~
I'm still mad I lost Celery DX. Our first non-dupe encounter was Pachirisu~ here's another I never took the time to look at – a bit like Minun in Gen III (and my Minun in AS destroyed stuff~). I came this close to KO it though, as Truffles crit for over half of its HP. Pepper had 1HP left as we caught her. And yes, her name is Pepper XD;;.

I chose to level up Lotus' team a bit, but it backfired... and backfired hard. I lose 2 Pokémon going up Route 205. I came across a lv11 Geodude, and sent Kelp at lv7. He was handling it fine with a speed advantage, but a moment of distraction to answer to my mom led to its demise... I use Water Sports instead of Water Gun, and Rock Throw killed him DX. Not even 5 minutes after, I sent Truffles out by complete mistake; the Shellos I was facing used Mud Sport and lowered Truffle's accuracy. The very last Tackle that I needed missed, and Shellos used Water Pulse.

On a happier note, Okra evolved into a beautiful Prinplup~

Next update should be the... upcoming place! I believe it has something to do with a cave, but I'm not sure.

Update #5: Worst encounter ever - CHALLENGE FAILED
Spoiler:

When I said my team was gonna be a nightmare against Electrics... well it happened a lot faster than I thought.

On my way back, I got into a trainer fight by mistake. I didn't expect her to have a Shinx and even less a Pachirisu (I wasn't expecting the fight at all, so I didn't look at the amount of Pokémon she had anyways). I took the Shinx down - had to use my last heal item on Pepper. After Shinx, I cringed as she sent out Pachirisu. Since mine has no Electric attacks and hasn't learned one since I had caught her, I didn't really expect hers to have one either... so I swapped over to Okra.

That's when I saw Sparks. It paralyzed him, because of course. I didn't even get to attack once, Okra was dead in 2 hits. I didn't wanna send Pepper again, so my next choice was... the Zubat, Yam. At least he has Bite. It wasn't as effective as I thought, and Sparks OHKOed him. I have a "it's not over till it's over" mindset, so I tried to find with Pepper. Took a while to bring her down, as the opponent's Pachirisu kept spamming Charm. Which did nothing to my only physical attack, as I felt couldn't rely on Bide.

So I failed, and graaaaaah all the dumb mistakes I did. And the nasty crits. Seriously, the amount of crits was too high.

Anyways, I'm restarting this challenge.

Extra Rules

-All mons must be nicknamed after a SMT/Persona reference, whether it be a demon/Shadow, a skill, or a character
-No Full Restores. Hyper Potions should be enough...if I last that long.
-Win.

Episode 1: "I swear, if I lose this time-"

Spoiler:
So, lately, I've had a very bad track record with losing lockes. Sapphire Randomizer, I got swept by a Sharpedo due to a bad play. Liquid Crystal, double crit in Episode 1. Yellow Randomizer, Haunter walled my main source of offence and blew my team apart with Crabhammers. Three horrible losses, and that's not counting my White 2 Challenge Mode locke, which I lost because of the infamous Locke Killer. I will not lose this time! Now, with my failures out the window, let's move on to real business.

Personally, I don't like the female character design in this game, so we're going with a guy this time.

Ladies and gentlemen, Tatsuya Suou.

And seeing as Tatsuya's Personas all learn Agi skills, I figure we should use the Fire type starter, Tepig. Let's be honest here, we already know what I'm going to nickname it.

But before we get to that, let's wreck some scrubs.

Now officially introducing Vulcanus the Tepig. May he survive a long time in our time in the Unova region...owait, I just realized I misspelled it. Welp, great things are bound to come if I'm already making dumb mistakes like that.

It is time...to update Black.

Episode 2: Bad Natures Galore

Spoiler:
So after more tutorials on stuff I already know, it is time at last for our first encounter, which is going to be...

A Patrat. To be honest, it's not spectacular, but it's whatever. I guess it's the standard first team member, so I'll roll with it.

Say hello to Gry the Patrat. Yes, I decided to go with a Persona 1 skill this time since it lacks moves that hit multiple targets at the beginning, so ye. Since it started out at Lv. 2, it's time for a mini grind session to prepare for N, who from this point forth will be known as Messiah because I don't know.

Speaking of Messiah, we just bodied him and his Purrloin. rip Messiah's Purrloin. You shall be missed. Now that Messiah was bodied for the time being, let's move onto the next route and get ourselves an encounter. Let's hope for something good.

Another Normal type. Ugh, fine. I'll go with it. I swear, if this becomes a Normal monotype, I'm going to scream.

But let's put my own personal vocal destruction aside and nickname this Lillipup. Frei the Lillipup, folks. Another Force skill from Persona 1.

A wild scrub rival appeared...and got bodied. GGs Bianca. Now, how about we go and get our free Pansage...

So for once, I decided to nickname one of my mons after an actual character in the series. I went with Masao Inaba, one of your main party members in the main quest of Persona 1. I thought Pansage would suit him well. Anyway, with that aside, I have another scrub to destroy.

Take my word for it, he got bopped too. Onward to the gym!

Believe it or not, this was a pretty close call. Frei got crit by a Bite when Lillipup was only +1 and lived with low HP, Vulacnus almost got bodied since Lillipup managed to get to +3, and then I got a low roll on my Vine Whip when it should've killed the Panpour. Nobody died, though, so that's a victory in my book. Now that nobody's dead, let's go deal with Messiah's goons and get an encounter for the Dreamyard.

rip Messiah's goons. Anyway, let's get an encounter. I'm hoping for something good.

You know, I think I'm gonna stop asking for something good because it just jynxs me and I get garbage like this.

Introducing Nekomata the Purrloin. I know that Nekomata is typically classed as female, but we'll just have to roll with it. Now, all that remains is one encounter and one scrub to fight...again.

Masao crit the Oshawott twice. Need I say more? Anyway, let's go and get an encounter, bop more of Messiah's goons, and get a second encounter.

.....I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Garu, Pidove, likely getting boxed. Let's go let off some steam by destroying Messiah's goons.

I swear to Arceus almighty, if you have a bad nature...

Anyway, say hello to our second demon/Persona team member, Ubelluris. I'm sure I spelled it right this time. Sure, I'll never have a Gigalith because trade evo and I was too stupid to put this rom through the randomizer, but we'll see how far this goes.

Welp, he's totally staying. Good nature for what he is for once, unlike almost everything else I've caught today.

rip Messiah's goons: Episode 2.
