In certain games (if not all) have certain legendary Pokémon roaming. Usually, they would escape after only one turn or so, and we would be required to chase after them in order to encounter again and whatnot. Sometimes, this process could be as easy as pie. At other times, it could take up to a couple of hours. Even days.

With all this in mind, what are our thoughts on roaming Pokémon—do we like running after them, hoping to having them captured at some point, or do we dislike? Why so? Do we have any strategy for this sort of thing? In total, how many roamers have we been able to successfully catch before?

Personally, detest this; I find it to be very time-consuming, to be honest, which is frustrating. When it comes to roaming Pokémon, I've been able to capture myself only around five of them, if I'm not mistaken, with latest being Zapdos.

It adds on reality and I like that. Having a legendary bird or cat jumping around the region at its own will is great. More realistic then having it sit in one spot for eternity.

Also, I usually let them fly or jump around. I rarely catch them, even the stationary ones. I dont know, I return to the older games every now and then and I like going to their places and see them peacefully mind their own business.

I never really liked this concept at all. It was annoying having to track them throughout the region, such as with XY where you had to find the legendary bird I think 12 times before you could fight it at Sea Spirit's Den. In HGSS they did compound it a bit by making fleeing at the very bottom priority, but BW was the last game with any roamers (thank god). I don't catch them often except for my Pokédex at some points.
