Okay! In this thread, for each system, state your favourite pokemon game!

For example, you can set up a list like this:

Game Boy Color:
Game Boy Advance:
Nintendo DS:
Nintendo 3DS:

..And set it up like so:

Game Boy Color: Pokemon Crystal
Game Boy Advance: Pokemon Emerald
Nintendo DS: Pokemon HeartGold
Nintendo 3DS: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Now, it doesn't have to be from the main pokemon games - You can also state spin-off games too, from various systems like the Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, etc. Like for example:

Nintendo 64: Pokemon Stadium
Nintendo Wii: Pokemon Battle Revolution
Nintendo Gamecube: Pokemon Colosseum

It can be as big as you want! You may wanna list from the game systems you've played that the pokemon games were from, but again, it's up to you~!

Gameboy Color: Silver
Gamecube: XD Gale of Darkness
Gameboy Advance: Mystery Dungeon series
DS: White 2
3DS: Omega Ruby

A lot of people hated 5th gen, yeah I don't like the first Black and White but the second games were pretty great and extensive in my opinion.

For GameBoy Color, I would say it would have to be Pokémon Crystal version. Although it was superbly fun to be playing through Gold and Silver, Crystal took all good things from these two games and had added a little extra features here and there, if I recall, which, at least in my eyes, made this game even better. Due to similar reasons, I also found myself enjoying Yellow a lot for Game Boy.

GBA--definitely Emerald. This game takes place in Hoenn, which is one of my most favorite regions out there, to be honest; Hoenn in particular has a lot for us to look into, as all its locations are rather distinct and unique in their own right. Slateport City's got Battle Tint (Contest Center in Ruby and Sapphire), a beach nearby, its own marketplace, and much, much more; Mossdeep has Space Center, and it's also the place where Steven Stone resides; Lilycove has Department Store, and also Master Contest (was this what they had called it?); and so forth.

DS, it's Platinum; 3DS, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; N64, Pokémon Stadium 2; and for GameCube, I would say Gale of Darkness.

Game Boy Color: Crystal
Game Boy Advance: Fire Red
Nintendo DS: Black
Nintendo 3DS: Omega Ruby

I wanted to choose Yellow, but it's not a color game. :( Yellow was the one that got me into being a pokemon nerd in the first place. <3

GBC: Crystal
GBA: Emerald
DS: Soul Silver
3DS: Alpha Sapphire

Definitely see a trend of preferring the third games and remakes there.

Let's see... What can I name here?

Game Boy Color: Er...Yellow, I guess?
Game Boy Advance: Pokémon Fire Red, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team
Nintendo DS: Pokémon White 2 (come on, you all saw this coming)
Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon X (I've still only played Omega Ruby once so far, so it's too early for me to decide if I like that more or not)
