My Morgan is a Dark Mage. The avatar (who I named after Lina Inverse), is now the total destroyer of any mooks who attack her. (By using powerful magic attacks.) This amuses me for some reason. Though it gets a little annoying when she takes all the exp while I am trying to get more supports with the offspring.

I'm still trying to raise Henry in levels, and decided a pairing for him. Why does Noire use a bow? Her parents are a great knight and a sorcerer.

On my first playthrough Morgan was a Pegasus Knight (I did Robin/Sumia) so I abused Galeforce with her maliciously. She did turn out kinda fragile though so I lost her once or twice on the final chapter because infinite reinforcements are fun.

So, I finished my first playthrough. Only a few marriages happened, and I missed one of the children.

Pairings for next time- Tharja/ Henry (I want to see the supports), Miriel/ Frederick (I paired them a lot after they married others), not sure who for Lon'qu though. I'd still go with F! Avatar/ Chrom, the pairing seems to work well for the later story.

I always thought that the Hubba thing was more of a joke than anything....

Sumia - Donnel? because dat aptitude
Oooh, or Gaius. A Cynthia with Lethality and Galeforce would be pretty devastating.

I was thinking Sully/ Stahl, actually. Didn't really use Gaius much last time. Trying to use different units this time for new supports. If I pair Tharja and Henry, can Noire do magic? Though that might make her a little crazier in battle.

Pairing ideas for Stahl, Maribelle, and Sumia?
What are you asking for specifically? Like which other characters go best with the ones you listed or viability/optimizing pairing?

If you're looking at optimal pairings. Stahl is best paired with Cordelia since all Severa really needs is Luna and Vantage, which Stahl gives in the form of Cavalier and Myrmidon, he has some nice modifiers as well. Maribelle does wonders with Lon'qu, Brady is one of the more "complete" child units since he already has Galeforce and Luna, so all he needs are good speed modifiers and Vantage; both which Lon'qu gives. Sumia is good with Henry, Cynthia has all she needs from her mother, so she's really just looking for decent enough modifiers which Henry gives.

Avatar/Donnel has never failed me. My Morgan with that combo is always the strongest unit in my whole squad, able to one-shot things most other team members can't kill, including enemies in Infinite Regalia.

Fire Emblem If will have Casual mode and also introduce a new Phoenix mode where fallen characters will revive on the next turn. Also, weapons no longer have a limited numbers of uses; that goes for all modes, not just Phoenix. Oh, and it's been confirmed that you'll be able to customize the protagonist again. More info here.

Fire Emblem If more like Fire Emblem Why.

Isn't limited uses one of the most strategical methods in the series? How is this going to fare with Robin's gimmick in Smash Bros. now that the feature is removed? I am curious to see how Phoenix mode will be different from Casual mode.

So basically they're adding an even easier mode right after they added an easy mode. Last time I checked, nobody was complaining about Awakening being too hard unless you were playing on Lunatic+, so why fix something that isn't broke? More like Fire Emblem Why indeed.

Warning, the following post is very rant-y
I think we can take out the Strategy part of the SRPG, because there no longer is any.
In case anyone hasn't noticed yet by my posts, I hated Awakening, the strategy was nearly non-existant, it somehow managed to be easier then The Sacred Stones. There was no strategy necessary, even on Hard Mode once you reached a certain point in the game you can put it on auto and watch the game play itself.
There is no longer anything to reward strategy, if you want only the story then there's no reason to play the game instead of watching a Let's Play on youtube.
I don't know what to put here, not allowed to post gifs, not even by putting it in a spoiler, so have some empty space:
...yay...?

It could be the same reason why it's easier to train a Pokemon in Gen VI. Gamers these days don't have enough time to fully experience games because of jobs and families. Nobody except for the hardcore fanbase, who are the minority, seem to care about these changes.
