In each and every region since generation one of games, there had been at least one Day-Care Center.

Day-Care Centers, we are permitted to drop our Pokémon at any time for, as name suggest, some caring. By leaving them here, we are able to have their level extended as days go by. Putting Pokémon in Day-Care is free, but withdrawing them does cost money. Around $100 will be charged for withdraws, with additional $100 for each level our Pokémon gain since dropping.

How do we feel when it comes to Day-Care; do we have tendency to utilize this system, or let it be? If latter, why don't we find ourselves using it? If we do put our Pokémon here, what is the maximum amount of level have they been able to achieve by staying in Day-Care?

Caring, huh? Is that what they're calling that nowadays? XD

Double entendres aside, I do use them occasionally aside from breeding purposes. But it's pretty rare when I do, as just training them takes a lot less time.

Other than for breeding purposes, I can't recall any time i've ever felt like keeping my Pokémon in the Daycare, mostly because it feels slow a lot often and i'd rather just train my Pokémon by leveling. It doesn't really help that with the Daycare, you miss out on getting those extra stats that you could be obtaining by beating up wild opponents and getting EVs off of them.

My main problem with the Day-Care Center (other than the lack of EVs, of course) is that we can't choose which moves that our Pokémon learn or don't learn, which can result in the loss of hard-earned egg moves in exchange for something as useless as say, Growl.

I don't really use the Day-Care for any other reason than the purpose of levelling up. I've never tried to IV/Shiny breed before, whenever I reach a Day-Care Centre I'll usually just deposit two Pokemon for the duration. In my current run of Alpha Sapphire, my Goldeen has gained 40 levels there so far..
