wtf. I haven't heard that song ages since I got into visual kei... and yet I still remember the lyrics to it lol. Also, I'm pretty sure this has been asked a dozen times but... who gives a psyduck? lol

So, which do you prefer? Do you like being in a freezer of coldness? Or do you prefer being hot or warm instead? Why is this your preference?

In all honesty, I love the cold. I was born and raised in Maine most of my life. I used to have to stand outside in the frigid cold weather during the winter waiting for my school bus. Ever since then, I've always preferred the cold over the hot weather. I can't stand being all sweaty and gross... yeah, I know what you're thinking... what the psyduck are you doing in Arizona? Well, that's a whole nother story, my friends. :D

At one point I would have said that I prefer cold over hot, because I came from a really humid place and oh god the summers were horrendous and I hate sweating and and yeah. Bring on the cold, I would have said!

However, now I'm starting to hate cold, because when I say cold I actually mean somewhat nippy not this blazingly cold single-digit monstrosity. So right now I'd prefer being hot over being cold!

Honestly I prefer it somewhere in between. Or maybe I actually prefer hot, as long as it's a dry hot and not a nasty sticky humid mess. Give me warm!

Now that I am living in almost arctic temperatures this winter I think I'm good for life with the cold. There's truly nothing like waking up in the morning and having your snots instantly freeze as you walk out the door. With that said humidity is the work of the devil so I'm going with warm and dry.

I love the cold. People here in the South are such pussies with the cold, it's so funny. Work and schools are getting closed, everyone's driving 2 mph, and I'm just sitting here in my skinny jeans with a t-shirt and a robe on
the beat goes on (ノ^o^;)ノ

Hm, I walked into this expecting a lot of people to prefer the cold. Guess not.

As for myself, I would surely rather take the hot. After so much snow and freezing cold that we've been pelted with, it gets really cumbersome having to put up with it. I would much rather be out in refreshing warmth.

I'm part plant, I need sunlight and warmth every now and then. I don't dislike cold per say, but I hate bitter dry cold like what we have in most of the US right now. Just send me to a place with lower to no humidity, 80 degrees and sunny, with a breeze and i'd be juuuuuust fine. But still cool enough at night to where you could have a bonfire and not burn up. That's practically paradise.

I can't handle real heat or real cold.
Gimme moderation please. I could never live in Minnesota in the same way that I could never live in Arizona. I need moderate temperatures.
Oregon and Washington are basically perfect. I think the mid-west might be nice too, but idk because I've never been there. I want seasons though, not just a year of hot or a year of cold.

As a general thing though, I guess I'd probably prefer warmth. I spent too much time constantly freezing being underweight and so now I have definitely come to appreciate warmth much more. Never again. :P

I can survive with 47C weather but cold cripples me so badly.
I have a prejudice against 47C heat because the one time that happened here it came very close to burning my entire town to the ground.

I don't really have a preference either way. I've lived in Arizona with summers that got up to 125 degrees, and I currently live in the Pacific Northwest where three feet of snow is the normal winter.

I prefer hot when it's cold, and cold when it's hot.

I prefer the cold on the basis that one can always put warmer clothes on, but there's a limit to how coolly one can (un)dress. Working outside in summer is more comfortable though, since there isn't the extra weight and bulk of extra layers to deal with, and conditions are generally dryer.

I hate the cold. I hate the hot. I prefer a nice medium, about 50 or so would be fine. Just cold enough that you have to wear a sweatshirt but just warm enough that you can wear shorts out and about.

Living in a desert has me longing for the days where the rainy weather flooded everyone out. Me? I love the rain. Can't stand people trying to drive through it though. They suck. But the rain? Yes. 110 in the shade? No.

Why do you prefer rain over shade? I personally prefer it to be unbearably hot but be able to sit out on the porch with an iced tea or lemonade over having it be unbearably hot but then rain for an hour or two because then the heat just seems all the worse.

warm weather (and everything that comes with those seasons) are basically the only reason I'm alive. cold weather is cool for maybe a month and then it just gets tiring and boring and hellish. February and early-mid March is always the worst. )':

Because rain washes away the evidence better than heat ever could. . . no, I just know I can deal with rain better than heat, and the sound of rain is much more relaxing than the sizzling of the ears in the sun.

I like to be warm. With my understanding of "warm" being in the range of 27-32C.
Having experienced both sides of the spectrum (Temperatures under zero and temperatures above 40) I can safely say that both are crap and that in the middle is great.
