(someone changed my damn title)

Do you play The Sims? What's your favourite game? What are your Sims names? Feel free to upload pictures! :P

---

Right now I'm playing Sims 4 (BEST) and I made two girls. They're called Gwen Sykes and Charlotte Lament and they kinda got married but I'm making Gwen cheat on Charlotte with Kaylin, because I got Charlotte flirting with Kiara! >:O (the old lady who dresses up as a bear)

Gwen is a punk-rocker Astronaut who cleans ships, brings in tons more dough then stupid old Charlotte and it's safe to say she's my favourite. =D Shame the marriage didn't work but whaaaatever Gwen was too good for her. ):<

I bought a furnished house in Willow creek and so far I've only upgraded:

Trash can
Fridge
Dining room chairs
Sofa

I really suck at this game because my two very easy-to-maintain Sims are always Very Tense, peeing themselves and smelling like a rotten butt. xD

Yeah, your original title was far too long and pointless. What you changed it to is fine.

I used to like the Sims, but now I find them less enjoyable. I get that the life goals stuff gives it longevity, but I'm pretty much done with the series.

When it comes to The Sims series, I have played The Sims (including expansions), The Sims 2 (including expansions), The Sims 3, and The Sims Medieval (including expansion). As for my favorite game, well it is The Sims Medieval.

For the Hero Sims I have created in that game, so far I have created Hero Sims for these classes:
Monarch
Knight
Spy
Bard
Wizard
Physician
Blacksmith
Jacoban Priest

I still need to make Hero Sims for each of these classes:
Merchant
Peteran Priest

Course the majority of that game revolves around quests. It even has a level up system for a more RPG feel. Now one thing I like to do is send people to the Pit of Judgement, where they have to fight the Pit Beast.

I've played them all, and I love them. Favourite is probably Sims 4 since I'm kinda hooked on that right now.

Purchasing The Sims 4 is equivalent to spending half a month's worth of allowance, so I haven't played it yet. I haven't even gotten The Sims 3 as well, since I have no money to buy it yet. I ended up grabbing a bootleg 'cause I can't stand not playong it, but I really want the full version so much. There's a lot of limits on my bootleg boohoo.

I've been playing The Sims since the first release. Although I was still young and had no idea on what to do haha. I also grabbed the Living Large expansion pack for it. Man, I still remember the theme song so much.

I've also played The Sims 2 on my PS2 as well, along with The Sims 2: Castaway. They were great past times whenever I get bored on my PS2.

I've grabbed the full version of The Sims 2 for PC including its expansion packs for free back when there was a promo for it on Origin. I have yet to install it since my laptop is low on space, but I hope to get a better computer and install it there. It's such a waste.

I hope I can get the Sims 4 soon, 'cause it looks great.

inb4 I cheat money in just so I can watch characters from my comics/stories/etc. do things. Ah, typical author tendencies.

I don't ever buy a new Sims game until it goes on sale along with some of the expansions, or at least has some established expansions out. Vanilla Sims is way too boring. I lucked out and got Sims 3 for PC as a gift, just the base game. And then I bought all the expansions up to Seasons for $5 each on Amazon. I was patient. I love Sims, I love EA, but I ain't spending almost $400 on DLC.
So no Sims 4 for me yet, way too damned expensive for what little is available so far. I guess that also means I'm not the "biggest fan" of the series, either. I don't really go out of my way for Sims games, lol. I have several for consoles (The Urbz, Sims: Bustin' Out, Sims 1, 2, and 3) and then Sims 2 Complete as well as Sims 3 and most of its DLC on Origin.

So far, 3 is my favorite for PC and 2 was my favorite for console.

Sims 2 on console was great. I'm pretty sure it was the only one where you could manually control your sim like they were any other character in any other console game. We waited way too long for such a normal feature to get implemented, lol.

My boyfriend would probably says Sims 2 is the best in regards to the PC titles, but that's because in 2 your pets could get jobs. Every time I've seen him play, his dude would have been homeless if his cat didn't support his ass.
Sims 3 kept my attention longer. The Town Edit mode is probably what saved it for me. Whenever I started to get bored with my own sims and their mundane lives, I just kicked out everyone in my town, redesigned all of the houses, made new (prettier) families and put them in all the new houses. I thoroughly enjoyed my Construction Simulator.

I love the Sims, but never bought 3 or 4.
I made a masive family tree on sims 2 once. It got so big (and needed loads of other "support" families to provide marriage partners) it was kind of hard to keep track of and make sure all the households were living in the same generation and not aging faster than other household lol.

I've only played that terrible Sims 3 port for the 3DS that came alongside my 3DS. It was terrible and after making a couple of attempts getting into it, I just let it rot.

The Sims 2 is the alpha and the omega of my Sims experience. While I did technically start playing way back with the first Sims was released for the PC, I didn't actively start playing until I picked up TS2. While I have looked at TS3 and TS4, there's always some reason why I don't want to get those. Unless something really interests me about any future Sim versions, I'll stick with TS2 forever.

Or until my computer refuses to play it.

Right now, I'm focused on creating my own neighborhood in TS2. My plan is to have everything (except the neighborhood terrain and a few Sims) be created by me. Though I'm in a creative slump right now, and want to play my legacy family more than build/decorate anything.

Which is why I'm wondering why I want to create yet another neighborhood to rebuild from scratch. This new neighborhood would be home to the apocalypse challenge, which I have always been interested in playing through, and I want to use the challenge as a springboard for a story.

Used to play Sims 2 a lot with a friend, yet I've never actually owned the game myself. Some other friends of mine enjoy playing Sims 3 Pets on the PS3. Is it viable to get console versions? Yeah, the PC's version is naturally gonna be better, but I've seen copies of Sims games for consoles and wondered if I should get them.
