so i've been breeding pokemon since ruby and sapphire, and take pride in it. idk why, but recently i've been wondering if anyone keeps documents of the breeding lines of their star pokemon, like show dogs or racehorses do. i've even considered doing it myself, just for people who wanted to know the pokemon they recieved managed to get the moves it did. has anyone else thought of this or maybe began doing this? just a thought...

If they were Pokémon that would take a lot of time to get the egg move combination I would want (like something with four), then maybe it would be worth attempting to remember how I got it. Because it's not too common that you end up wanting four egg moves on a new breed, but sometimes they do, and now that it's much easier since females can pass egg moves it might be worth trying to keep a log of how you obtained them.
