I also had a duel disk when I was a little kid, but after using it for literally 5 minutes I realized what a waste of money it was because all it did was tear up my cards.

OMG Yu-Gi-Oh. Oh how I miss that fandom.

I was looking in the cards section at Target and picked up some Yu-Gi-Oh packs and I just don't see how they continue to come up with ideas for monsters anymore.

I also don't see the appeal in the newer ones. I really miss the old, classic cards.

Bakura was always my favorite. I gave up on Yu Gi Oh after GX started because I could already tell it was going south. But somehow they've managed to pique my interest with this last series.

I've moved on to the superior trading card game though. Magic is where it's at. Card packs cost just about the same, and you can actually make money off of it if you have enough luck. Cards easily get up to the $100 mark. I've not gone that crazy yet though, most I spent on a card so far was $30.

I used a floppy disk for 1st through 3rd grade, but after that there was really no use for them at all.

My first laptop had a 3½" floppy drive and a CD drive. But honestly I don't even use CDs nowadays, lol.

Most things haven't really had a long run of usefulness when it comes to technology. Who knows when we'll look back at thumbdrives and laugh about how great we thought they were.

Anyone here remember Zip drives? They were like floppies, but like 5 times bigger (while only holding about twice as much memory). I wonder if anyone ever actually used them...
I actually was given a zip disc to use by my dad when I was a kid! Oh I loved that thing, it felt like I could fit so much on there (lol, if I only knew).

And then after some time it broke (the drive wouldn't read it anymore) and I was sad. Meh. I think I mostly just stored random midis of game music on that disc anyway. Maybe a few pictures. But mostly that music.

At the time they were a big improvement over floppy disks in terms of the amount of space they used, but they were so darn big. Who would have guessed back then that in 10 years we'd be keeping 32 GB of storage on our keychains xD

The only remembrance of ZIP disks I have is with old software and with VMs. Some of my older Windows installers would prompt on the screen "If you have a third-party SCSI or RAID driver, insert the floppy or ZIP disk now..."

Removable media that isn't easily reusable is a big no-no for me. I have a bit of a hard time how people thought CDs were better than floppies because of that, lol. Then again a lot of people have this idea about digital storage that size is the only attribute in existence, so idk lol

He's from Game Of Thrones, and he knows nothing. I haven't watched it, I just wanted to make a clever remark, haha.
What character is he in this video

I've never had the problem of a VHS tape tangling. I must not have watched them enough even though I had the Wizard of Oz and Spirited Away on VHS and would watch each at least once a day for years. I still haven't gotten around to buying a blu ray player, so I've got a vhs dvd double player. Now if I could just find some tapes that aren't just old episodes of pokemon.
