vms are only used when i don't have them on skype or imessage
i think they're clunky for the type of conversation i prefer and i'd just rather not have to deal with them

Haha, definitely not Skype. Just ask Geoff, it's literally the worst way to contact me, and it just so happens that it's the most popular :[ I like over PC via any means (VM/PM) as well as over something like Facebook or even text. It's the most natural way for me, but I promise that I'm gonna get into Skype more, as soon as I manage to get my account working on my laptop. =3
he did it, not me.

My main method of interaction with other members is through VMs, though there is the occasional Super Smash Bros, YGOPro, and Digimon Battle Online (which is now dead). No Skype for me, though. =D

Oh man many different ways! I'd say the best one for me is the battle server since the majority of the people I talk to visit there, but I also interact with quite a few on LoL and Skype! As for other ways, like everyone else, I turn to threads, VMs, and sometimes PMs. I am sure there are others as well haha. I'm honestly glad I have so many ways to chat with my friends here :)

Most of my friends are from community events and chatrooms! It's really easy to get the conversation rolling in a group environment and then move on to one on one messaging. With the battle server, I met loads of people just by contributing to the conversation, getting to know the people around me, making a few friends and then branching out from there onwards.

Same thing goes for community events like the minecraft server or plug.dj. For instance, I've met or at least become closer to friends through participating in events that need a handful of people to be successful.

If I want to talk to someone one on one, Skype's usually the way to go though VMs are fine too. I rarely IM people first but it's still fun seeing how people are going / what they're up to. :]

I'm not someone who easily blends into a conversation, which makes threads the easiest way to communicate. It gives no force to keep up the conversation if it's dying out, but often asks for a single opinion. I think the Treehouse here is a good way to learn to know a little about many people.

VM/PM/Skype/Showdown/Dota 2/Plug.dj. Not that I interact a lot.

I also don't mind being on cam with people on the net. Y'know, if I get along with them that much. So far, it's only happened with 2-3 PC members.

What's a forum without friends?
Still a forum. Still a pleasant place. I should know.

Always done PMs. Don't like the public nature of VMs. If I talk to you elsewhere (ie. Skype) I don't necessarily associate you with TPC anymore.
I don't do group hangouts or games or anything, just straight conversation. I approach people based on their comportment rather than their interests.

I enjoy VMing people.

There's no huge reason to PM them unless it's super private, but since I'm not on staff anymore there's really no reason to use PMs. VMs, though, sometimes I log on PC just to check them and chat with people.
