So this is the start of my rain team that i've been playing with on showdown!

Vaporeon is this teams staple, i get rid of its weakness to electricity with my lightning rod users and give it a rindo berry to survive any grass attacks (then i can go ahead and kill them with ice beam) and most teams only have once grass type so ill be good there, then rest in the rain w/ hydration = instant 100% HP!

I send Vaporeon out with Raichu (who contrary to popular belief doesnt typically get knocked out 1st move) to set up rain dance. And then in goes Sceptile and then the slaughter happens pm (I hope atleast lol).
If im facing an obvious rain team i'll send in sceptile first cause ill have rain set up already and switch into raichu or something that can kill Ludicolo if needed.

Basically I want a rain team that DOESN'T look like a rain team (ie politoad & Ludicolo) and im really interest in using the above mons.
I just dont know what other three mons i should use? I like using Scolipede, Galvantula, and Azumarill! But idk i wanted to know if i should put another mega or something else/something to cover my weaknesses.

While it seems tempting to not use Politoed, it's a staple on rain teams, due to its Drizzle ability. Not using it to lead would be a massive opportunity cost on your part, as you'll have to waste a turn setting up Rain Dance with your other Pokemon.

People are gonna catch on that it's a rain team though the moment you use Rain Dance on turn 1, so....

You need a back up rain maker regardless.

But one major issue with your team so far is that a Sun team will wreck what you got, especially the Mega Zard Y+Chlorophyll Venusaur combo that sun commonly runs in doubles. [email protected] basically deals with both of them (more so Venu than Zard).
