I've started rebuilding my old team, but I only have three members so far:

Avalugg @Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Sturdy
252 HP, 152 ATK, 100 DEF
- Avalanche
- Earthquake
- Curse
- Gyro Ball/Recover
Brilliant physical tank after just one Curse, or without. About 230 Defense at level 50. Pretty good Attack, about 144 at Level 50. Curse buffs it high enough for Avalugg to OHKO-2HKO lots of things with Avalanche or Earthquake. Gyro Ball gets very powerful as Avalugg is slower than almost everything and both the Attack buff and Speed drop from Curse contribute extra power, but its coverage is rather null and void next to Earthquake, although it hits Fairies hard. Recover lets it live longer and potentially allows multiple activations of Sturdy. It also covers for Goodra's Ice weakness while Goodra covers for Avalugg's Fire weakness - coupled with the two Pokèmons' opposing defensive stats, it grants them very good defensive synergy.

Goodra @Assault Vest
Nature: Bold/ Modest
Ability: Sap Sipper/Gooey
252 HP, 252 SPATK, 4 DEF
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt/Thunder
- Sludge Wave
Pretty standard. My current Goodra is Bold (so it has passable defense) and has Gooey (not my choice, but it works), but I feel Sap Sipper would be better as it provides Grass immunity and perfectly covers for Feraligatr's Grass weakness - Along with Goodra's Electric resistance, it gives the two Pokèmon great offensive and defensive synergy. Goodra's just really solid.

Feraligatr @Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Sheer Force
252 ATK, 252 SPE, 4 DEF
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Punch
- Waterfall
- Crunch
Feraligatr hits CRAZY hard with Life Orb/Sheer Force boosts, and has just enough bulk to set up one or more DD's if played right. Like Avalugg, covers for Goodra's Ice weakness. Not a lot more to say, just another solid build.

Other team possibilities:
- Something fast
- Special Sweeper
- Revenge Killer
- Cleric Support (I'm thinking Clefable or M-Audino)

Any help would be sweet.

Seems like a UU team to me, as Avalugg's bad defensive typing makes it not so good in standard play.

IMO, Avalugg shouldn't really bother with Curse, as it lacks the special bulk to use it effectively. It really needs Recover because without it, it gets worn down fast. It also provides Rapid Spin support, which is useful if you hate hazards:
-Avalanche
-Rapid Spin
-Recover
-Earthquake/RoarToxic
Nature: Impish
EVs: 248 HP/8 Atk/252 Def
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy

Use a Modest nature on Goodra, as it needs all the firepower it can get.

Yes, it's UU, but that doesn't really matter as I don't play by tiers.
Avalugg doesn't get worn down fast if used properly - I know cause I've used it in many a battle. It's been a team staple since I started competitive battling.
Curse isn't as useless on Avalugg you may think - it only really needs one or two boosts from it and it's been a good sweeping/tanking tool in the past.
Finally, I have considered R.S on Avalugg and it's not bad - except that to clear, say, a Stealth Rock, it'd have to lose 25% HP switching in, then probably waste a turn Recovering. Not great. I'll probably leave spinning to something else, but I'll bear this in mind. Thanks.

You're playing on cartridge, right?

I'd go with Recover over Gyro Ball on Avalugg. It does benefit a lot from Curse, but since it's so slow I feel that it'll like being able to heal itself better. You need a better answer to Fairies than just one move on a low Sp.Defense poke anyway.

Some good Fairy checks would be stuff like Mega Metagross, (Mega) Scizor, Jirachi, Aegislash, Heatran (sorta)......Bronzong if you're feelin' that.

Between Sap Sipper and Gooey on Goodra, I'm kiiiiiinda leaning towards Sap Sipper. While a special set has no use for the Attack boosts, an immunity > a resistance. Being immune to Grass let's it shut down unboosted Serperiors too, since unboosted Dragon Pulse does muk for damage to AV Goodra. And being Leech Seed immune is nice too. Gooey has it's uses too though.

You could probably combine the "something fast" and "revenge killer" things on your list into one. Revenge killers are almost always fast. Anything with more than base 110 Speed and/or a Scarf would do for that. Guess you just gotta pick what ya want. Maybe you have ideas for that.

And for your cleric slot, I'd say go with Clefable. I think that Game Freak designed Audino and Mega Audino more for doubles, and this is a singles team. Clefable gets Magic Guard and Unaware, which are great abilities for singles. Maybe something like this for the set:

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell
