Have you ever gotten so scared that you realized you were only scaring yourself? Are you easy to scare? Or are you one of those types who can watch a horror movie without even wetting your pants in fear? :P

For me... I'm very easy to scare. In fact, I was just out in the kitchen filling my bottle. I heard this strange whirring noise. It really frightened me. It doesn't help that it's night time because the only adds on even more fear for me. x_x That's actually what started the idea for this topic. \o/

So yeah again... Have you ever gotten so scared that you realized you were only scaring yourself? Are you easy to scare? Or are you one of those types who can watch a horror movie without even wetting your pants in fear?

Holy milktank I'm such a flippin' wuss.

I get scared of walking down my house's dark hallway.
I get scared of any creepy thing ever.
I am scared of being alone at night, so I have to keep a tv/radio on bc it makes me feel less alone.

I have fear problems, man.

I don't scare easily, at least not when it comes to things like the dark or noises in the dark. I actually find the dark to be rather comforting. I mean, maybe if I'm in a strange area I would be understandably wary, but otherwise I tend to be in places where I know not much can hurt me, so I guess anything I hear or see then doesn't bother me much. I don't even flinch from scary movies...now, granted, I don't watch many movies like that, but I recall watching one at a friend's house one time and pretty much my reaction to it was just ":|" the whole way through. Surprise things might make me twitch, but other stuff, even stuff made to scare people: not so much apparently!

Yeah, it takes quite a bit to scare me, at least with things like that.

Unless if it's outside my house, the dark doesn't really scare me. I'm a nocturnal after all hahaha.

But I don't like horror stories... actually, I don't like getting scared through the surprise factor, 'cause that's basically how most horror stories work. Also, I get queasy upon seeing a lot of red blood. So normally if I read passages out of a novel that contains a lot of blood in the description, I normally imagine it in a different color so I won't get too queasy. Real blood scares me, despite the fact that I love to kill off my characters in my stories in the worst way possible haha.

But yeah... blood and jumpscares.

There's this time I woke in the middle of the night, and, I saw my sistah playing some Pok'mons. And, I said, "ssstttttt", a couple of times. But, she didn't looked up, and I tried to sleep again. Then 30 seconds later, she opened the light, and, had a look of utmost fright. And, I was forced to tell her I did that ssssttt sound.

I wouldn't say that I'm the easiest to scare, nor would I be the hardest. In comparison to my friends, I'm probably the least likely to be frightened by horror movies, games, etc. Though I have an aversion to sound effects and faces popping out of nowhere...The only movie that probably made me nearly need to change my undergarment would be Insidious. Not the most well-received horror flick, but for some reason that one scared the crap out of me.

Okay so I like to watch a lot of paranormal shows and I follow a couple paranormal blogs on tumblr and I read scary stories online. So basically every once in a while I'll see a really scary episode or read something psyducking creepy and I'll either lay on my couch downstairs for the majority of the night or I'll find the guts to go to my bed and just push it out of my mind. Honestly lately I've been getting wicked scared driving alone in my car at 2 am, but it's just me freaking myself out.
