Man it's been forever since I popped into a forum. If this isn't in the right place please let me know so I can fix it.
Right now I'm working on my battle spot singles team, and could use some help.

I only have five pokemon as you may notice. Up until now I had been using a hippowdon but I got tired of it. Umbreon, arcanine, feraligatr and dragonite are all personal favorites of mine. I would totally be open to changing away from mega-mawile to a new mega.
As for the team... Umbreon is a wish toxic staller that's specially defense based. Arcanine is a physical defensive will-o-wisper with extreme speed. dragonite is a bulky rooster with damage. and feraligatr is a dragon dancing sheer force life orb monster.

V (Umbreon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Foul Play
- Toxic

Nitske (Arcanine) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp

Arrow (Feraligatr) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Crunch

Mizuchi (Dragonite) (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 216 HP / 64 Atk / 228 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Dragon Claw
- Extreme Speed
- Fire Punch

Hakama (Mawile) (M) @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Iron Head

So can somebody give me some idea's? For some reason I'm just stuck. It's like I've got writers block with pokemon...

This seems like an OU team given the presence of Dragonite. However, you have mostly UU Pokemon, so I'll do a separate rate down below the OU one.

Just saying, Umbreon and Arcanine are outclassed in the standard environment. Sylveon and Clefable do Umbreon's Wish role better because they have better defensive typings. Mandibuzz also does Umbreon's general support role better because of its better general bulk:

Sylveon:
-Wish
-Protect
-Hyper Voice
-Heal Bell/Toxic
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate

Clefable:
-Wish
-Protect
-Moonblast
-Heal Bell/Aromatherapy/Flamethrower
Nature: Bold
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Unaware

Mandibuzz:
-Foul Play
-Roost
-Taunt/Whirlwind
-Knock Off/Defog/Toxic
Nature: Impish/Bold
EVs: 248 HP/136 Def/108 SDef/16 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat

Talonflame and Heatran do the role of defensive Fire Pokemon better than Arcanine because the former has good stall breaking options and access to Gale Wings Brave Bird while the latter has better bulk all-round and a better defensive typing:

Talonflame:
-Brave Bird/Acrobatics
-Bulk Up/Taunt
-Will-o-Wisp/Taunt
-Roost
Nature: Careful
EVs: 248 HP/252 SDef/8 Spe
Item: Leftovers/none
Ability: Gale Wings

Heatran:
-Stealth Rock
-Lava Plume
-Toxic
-Taunt/Protect/Roar
Nature: Calm
EVs: 248 HP/192 SDef/68 Spe
Item: Leftovers

Mega Mawile is an Uber, meaning you can't use it in a team like this (OU or UU). In OU, Gardevoir, Metagross, Altaria and Diancie are the Megas to use:

Gardevoir:
-Psyshock
-Hyper Voice
-Focus Blast
-Taunt/Will-o-Wisp/Calm Mind
Nature: Timid/Modest
EVs: 24 Def/232 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace

or
-Wish
-Protect
-Hyper Voice
-Will-o-Wisp/Calm Mind
Nature: Timid
EVs: 248 HP/244 Def/16 Spe
Item: Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace

Metagross:
-Meteor Mash
-Zen Headbutt
-Bullet Punch/Ice Punch/Grass Knot
-Earthquake/Hammer Arm
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body

or
-Agility
-Meteor Mash
-Zen Headbutt
-Earthquake/Hammer Arm
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spe
Item: Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body

Altaria:
-Hyper Voice

EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Altarianite

or
-Dragon Dance
-Return

-Roost/Fire Blast
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Altarianite

or
-Return/Hyper Voice
-Earthquake/Flamethrower/Perish Song/Roar
-Heal Bell
-Roost
Nature: Impish/Bold/Relaxed
EVs: 248 HP/104 Def/156 SDef
Item: Altarianite

Diancie:
-Diamond Storm
-Moonblast
-Earth Power/Hidden Power (Fire)
-Protect/Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Naive
EVs: 16 Atk/240 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Diancite

or

-Psyshock/Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Diancite

or
-Rock Polish
-Diamond Storm
-Moonblast
-Earth Power/Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Rash
EVs: 64 HP/16 Atk/252 SAtk/176 Spe
Item: Diancite

In the last slot, you could use a Grass Pokemon to complete a Fire/Water/Grass core, as they can resist each other's weaknesses. Options are Breloom, Ferrothorn, Serperior and Chesnaught:

Breloom:
-Spore
-Bullet Seed
-Mach Punch
-Rock Tomb
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Focus Sash

-Power Whip/Protect
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/88 Def/168 SDef

Serperior:

-Hidden Power (Fire)
-Dragon Pulse
-Giga Drain/Taunt/Knock Off
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Contrary

or
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Leaf Storm
-Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Contrary

Chesnaught:
-Spikes
-Leech Seed

EVs: 12 HP/244 Atk/252 Spe

As I already mentioned above, this team is mostly comprised of UU Pokemon and this one will be a separate rate. Of course, you'll have to replace Dragonite with something more UU-suitable, like Salamence, Flygon and Noivern:

Salamence:
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage/Dragon Claw
-Earthquake/Iron Tail
-Fire Blast
Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry

or
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Outrage/Iron Tail
-Roost/Iron Tail/Earthquake
Nature: Naive
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate

Noivern:
-Draco Meteor
-Hurricane
-Flamethrower/Air Slash
-Switcheroo/U-turn
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator

or
-Draco Meteor
-Air Slash/Flamethrower
-Taunt
-Roost
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Leftovers
Ability: Infiltrator

Flygon:
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-U-turn
-Defog
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf

This UU team is in need for a Stealth Rock setter and a Rapid Spinner/Defogger, since you have Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock. Forretress can do the hazard-clearing and Stealth Rock support, while Sceptile can act as the replacement Mega for a Fire/Water/Grass core:

Forretress:
-Stealth Rock/Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Gyro Ball/Toxic
-Volt Switch
Nature: Relaxed/Bold
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Item: Leftovers

Sceptile:
-Leaf Storm
-Dragon Pulse
-Focus Blast
-Giga Drain/Earthquake/Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Timid/Naive
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow

or
-Substitute
-Giga Drain
-Dragon Pulse
-Focus Blast
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow

or
-Swords Dance
-Leaf Blade
-Outrage/Dragon Claw
-Earthquake/Drain Punch
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: Sceptilite

Okay thanks. i will definitely experiment with those pokemon! However, I do have t point out that I'm not playing smogon rules with this team. This is battle spot singles. Which means there is no ubers and mawile is allowed.
I don't know why, but for some reason Plat will spend an hour writing a list of sets to correct yours after reading a post for 10 seconds, often missing the format or even platform being played on. THAT being said, you actually seem kinda prepared for mega blaziken and mawile, gardevoir as well, sorta mega salamence even. And Kanga. Doesn't look like too bad of a team too me, lots of bulky mons but to a seemingly good effect - my only question is if Adamant is best on Dragonite when it's not got any boosting and has more in HP and Sp Def than Atk? I might personally shift more EV's to Atk from either Sp Def or HP, buuut that's just me. I'm no singles pro.

If you wanna try this team out anytime though, I'd be very much up to trying it out with battle spot singles rules. ^^

If not, no big deal, having been ignored by Platinum Dude on at least 4 challenges he won't acknowledge I'm used to not getting matches. (oooo shots fired oooo) lol but seriously, if you wanna test it out PM / VM me, I'd be glad to help.
The Prism League is BACK BABY - we're operating in Sun / Moon now - come join up!

We're looking for Gym Leaders and Elite 4 members!

Well then, if you're bored of Mawile, you can use any the Megas I suggested. In Battle Spot, you can get away with 2 Megas on the same team; you just pick one depending on what opponent you're up against.

Edit: didn't see the format in the OP; my bad.
