in all seriousness though how many sprites can the GBA render at I'm time, I'm planning on making a party in a hack...
Edit Christos kill the party by changing the sizes

The game's data structures which are used for sprites/OAM generation (obj) don't allow for the full 256 though. I think it goes to 16? I don't remember the exact number, but less than 20.

FBI, go to sleep. You're tired.
It allows spawning 16 OWs, but way more objs (around sixty or more).
Spawning through custom code would allow the full 256.

Wouldn't this cause lag though. I would like to keep a stable 60fps

Yeah, but I think he means how many OWs he can make. Because he said he plans to make a party (which I assume is in the OWs?). Therefore I'm right, and YOU'RE the sleepy one :P

If he meant OWs (he said sprites) then you can use createsprite.
