So recently I have been trying to make the overworld trainer Lucas from Pokemon Platinum, and it has worked great. But, I now want to edit the big trainer (the one you see when picking your gender) and while the sprite comes up in game, the colors are really buggy, a picture of the problem has been added below. I thought I could change the pallete and it would be fine, and I did that. But there is oddly no change when loading the game up. (pallete picture down below) I went to unLZ gba exported the sprite of Brendan to my computer, and imported my Lucas picture. It comes up fine in unLZ gba, but when I boot up the rom, the colors are messed up. If someone who has hacked ruby and changed the trainer sprite knows where I'm messing up, please inform me. Thanks.

Would it help anyone viewing this thread if I made a video showing what I did? (so you guys have an actual visual)

It may be possible that you simply put the colors in the wrong order on APE, but other than that I'm not sure what went wrong.

No I took a picture with fraps and copied it. I then put them all in the right order. But it's not even that, the colors, even if they did work, aren't even showing up.

Ok everyone I found the problem on my own, turns out I was;
1) Incorrectly indexing the image, I had to do something from this youtube video here (description)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foJqkRD1nSU
2) Was at the wrong offset. (offset 00E59FD8 in Advanced Palette Editor)

Now my picture looks normal! Thanks very much! :D
