I'm not sure you should double post like that haha. Anyway, like Jon Snow i know nothing about the fourth and next generations, but if the basics, base stats, movepool and others remains intact you should look up to using Dusclops, i began to used him for a competition of team-types restrictions and learn to love him, he's a really useful tank with a great moveset, i also think he's the best option has a rapid spin blocker, he has immunities to normal and fighting that greatly helps, will-o-wisp is a must-have, then you can choose within a wide range of movements, like nightshade, shadowball, seismic toss and pain split or rest. Basically he can kick some asses in many different ways.
You should consider having more nukepower, gengar, alakazam, try to use use choice band, salamence with one baton pass done and choice can kill anything. You got way too much things to consider before building up a team.
Dusclops isn't that effective anymore. It's very passive as all hell with only 70 Attack and 60 Special Attack (admittedly, these are decent on Pokemon on their lowest stages, but on evolved ones, not so much); Dusclops needs to rely on Night Shade for its consistent damage. Even though it gained a defense-buffing item (for NFEs only) in Eviolite, it's very reliant on that item for its bulk, and should that item be lost (normally to Knock Off, a very common move in competitive play; what also stings is that Dusclops is weak to it, as that move is Dark), Dusclops is essentially neutered, and its low HP doesn't help in that case. There are better Ghost Pokemon to choose out there, like Gengar and Mega Sableye.
