Please do make that thread when you're ready, though, as your concept for it sounds quite interesting.

Pretty soon. Already got the title screen done. Few new sprites and some mapping and I'll have enough to share. Already got the basic storyline figured out.

Good luck on your own game too, it'll be a long road but I hope you'll have something special to show the community members in the future!

Thank you! I will stick with it. It honestly doesn't seem like it'll be too hard as long as I put the required time into it. Everything I want to do is already very well-documented.

ROM Hacks are amazing, if they're well made. Your project looks interesting, I wish you luck with that one!
|
Thanks! I'm aiming for well-made, a bit of a perfectionist, so it ain't coming out if it's not any good. But it will be. I just gotta take the time to make everything just right. I've played enough hacks to have a general idea of what I'm going for. Nothing too fancy in mind, just some new maps and sprites and scripts, mod the music a bit, and maybe a few Poke from other gens. But again, it all looks pretty well-documented here.

I didn't know could play them on PSP.
|
Yup. I like it because it's portable and the button setup is pretty similar to the GBA. You can find builds of gpSP (GBA emulator for PSP) that will run on any PSP firmware thanks to Sony's official signing code being leaked while back. You need "gba_bios.bin", but is pretty easy to find.
Your game looks good btw, I'll check it out next.
