What healing item do you use most often?

Max potions to be honest. During the game I use a lot of fresh waters and super potions. Everything post game is max potions, if even needed.

It mainly depends on which stage of the game I'm at, but I do love using Lemonade, Soda Pop and Full Restore especially.

For me I think it tends to be MooMoo Milk, since they're very price efficient and heal a good portion for as little as they cost.

My go-to is always Moo Moo Milk. They're always easy to buy in bulk, and I think they're actually the most cost-effective healing item, in HP-per-dollar terms. When I challenge the Elite Four though, I'll usually go for Full Restores if I have the money for it. Much more efficient to restore a Pokemon's health and eliminate any status ailments at the same time.

I usually end up having an MVP powerhouse, just because of the fact that I tend to use underdogs in-game, but I'll end up using one or two really powerful Pokémon, but I try to keep it as balanced as possible, at least level-wise. It drives me crazy when there's a big level gap between my Pokémon, so they're rarely more than 5 levels apart from each other.

Either Hyper Potions or Full Restores. You don't get to be champion of the Pokemon League without knowing how to spam Full Restores after all.

Do you tend to have one MVP powerhouse on your team, or do you like to keep your team balanced?

I used to have a MVP powerhouse on my team back in the day, but now I'm aiming to keep my team balanced. During my Ruby and Diamond run I was pretty close to have a MVP powerhouse, Blaziken for the former and Dialga (sort of) for the latter.

As in have a really powerful mon(eg a psuedo legend) or a mon who is at a really massive level that dominates everything? In that case, back during my earliest nuzzing days, I almost always had this kind of thing, because since those were my first runs, and I didn't want to fail. Nowadays, probably not, I would rather have everything balanced.

But the exception would be my latest run, it's of a hack, and maybe there would be things I wouldn't expect, so I definitely have some really strong mons in it for emergencies XD.
I… might put something interesting here eventually.

Yea, this has definitely happened to me. Not counting the times I left all my money with my mom in HG/SS, this happened to me back when I first played Yellow, and I kept losing to Brock (because he's literally the hardest gym leader ever in Yellow when all you have is a Pikachu and a bunch of Normal and Flying-types). Between constantly losing to him and going back to buy potions, I ended up penniless.

I rely on Full Restores a lot during post game! There's also the Revival Herb during the main plot stuff!

As a child I tend to have the starters as my MVP, as a veteran trainer I found the importance of a balanced team! Needless to say, my in-game team is balanced!

I'm bad at creating competitive teams though, haha!

When I was younger and new to the games I tended to overpower my starter, but now I act like a smart trainer and balance everything out.

I like to keep it balanced, I think it's more fun when you have multiple pokémon that can defend themselves as opposed to having one pokémon which just destroys everything.

Balanced team, always. I learned from my early days of playing Pokemon that having only one reliable team member will not get you anywhere. Usually the first one that I catch after the starter ends up getting replaced because it becomes underpowered as you get into the higher levels (most of the time it's the regional bird).

I have definitely aimed for balanced teams, since about gen IV, that way everyone on my team is strong against something and can do something about plus come in during emergencies if a rare opportunity presents itself to battle against a Pokemon its weak against. This all means keeping the levels close together, even if that means having to go through some horribly tough battles to get the experience, making the team very balanced. Within that team though, there is always one Pokemon that i know i can rely to get m out of any sticky situation that may arise. This past Pokemon X i played, that Pokemon was Mega Lucario, though never more than 3 levels higher than anyone else, until my late game Noivern and Goodra came along, (more often it was towards the bottom of my team in terms of levels) i knew i could always count on it for a OHKO or 2HKO.

So i had a balanced team but within that team there was a very definite leader.

Do you have an MVP Powerhouse on your team or prefer to keep it balanced?

Honestly I do tend to have one team Member who is several levels higher than everyone else. In my Original Sapphire Run it was Sceptile, In Platinum Empoleon, Black it was Gothitelle, Most recent White 2 Lilligant but most playthroughs it has been Gardevoir.

In a normal playthrough I have one overleveled Pokemon 4 about the level they should be and one Pokémon for HM's.

I too prefer to keep things balanced most of the time, unless i'm really trying to get through the game quickly. This is the kind of thing that won't exactly slide if you're doing a Nuzlocke or something! There you have to grind like heck.

It...varies for me, honestly. Depending on a number of factors, there may sometimes be a gap between my Pokes' levels, but I try my best to keep them even. My starter is often my powerhouse in the beginning, but I do my best to make sure my other Pokemon get some attention too.

I try to keep my team as balanced as possible since I've found it's easier to win with a variation of good Pokémon.

Which Pokemon game have you spent the most time playing?

FireRed hands down, most likely since it's the oldest Pokémon game I own and for some reason I just keep getting drawn to it.

I played Pokemon Silver a lot. But I no longer have the original cartridge so I really don't know how many hours I've logged on it.

I've spent substantial time on Pokemon Diamond (IIRC upward of 600 hours) and it was the first core series game since Pokemon Blue where I completed the Pokedex.

Recently I've spent more time on Omega Ruby. In terms of replaying, it's probably XY. I own both copies and both are on the third and fourth playthroughs respectively.

The most hours logged would have to be either Diamond or X (both are around 450 hours, I believe). However, with Diamond, I had a tendency to put my DS down while it was still on and fall asleep, so my total playtime probably wasn't quite that high. I've gotten really into breeding on X (haven't done much lately, though), and that has added a lot to my timer.

It's strange, because I feel like I spent more time on Gold (257 hours when it died, I believe) and Red (hard to track because I restarted my save multiple times, but I think it was still significantly less than X and Diamond). I guess the in-person social element made those games seem like a bigger deal. I also feel like I've spent a ton of time training on LG (around 350 hours, I think; I've done very little breeding there, so that's probably the game with the most battling/training time).

The longest i've had on one save was my Pearl version, which I think had 440 hours. And I did play quite a bit of DP back before Platinum was a thing, but I don't remember exactly how long it was. If you want to get really technical, between all my playthroughs of Black 2 and White 2, i've documented over 875 hours between every play of that i've done, and that's without the times i've reset the game while trying to breed in White 2 or going for natures with legendaries (my main White 2, which I got shortly after release, has 403 hours). And with XY i've logged at least 734 hours between all my adventures there (380 hours on my main copy).

Pokemon Y for me, because of the ungodly amount of time I've spent breeding and team building in it. My first save file had ~443 hours at the time I reset it, and the second one currently has around ~168-ish hours clocked.
