Which generation did you find to be the hardest?

Probably D/P/Pt. I absolutely hate those Team Galactic admins and their overpowered yet somehow initially underleveled Pokemon. Also, as Sun said B/W's final battles are very intense stuff. Ghetsis and his Hydreigon should go die in a fire.

Generation two was pretty tough in some parts--such as when battling against Whitney, for example, whose Milktank was nearly impossible to take down--but overall, I found it to be a very interested gen. It's one of my most favorites out there. Second would likely have to be generation one.

The attract + roll-out combo is a nightmare and top up with Milk drink it gonna be very hard to defeat it and especially if you choose cyanquil, good luck with that

Which generation did you find to be the hardest?

Since you mentioned 'generation', I'd say Gen5. I found both BW1 and especially the sequels to be hard. Plat is hard, sure, but DP not as much, and of course XY isn't hard. So gen5 for me.
I… might put something interesting here eventually.

Which generation did you find to be the hardest?

I find Generation IV to be pretty difficult as a whole, with navigating Mt. Coronet and everything. Like aforementioned though, Ghetsis was actually really difficult in Gen V with his Hydreigon, I had to rematch him I think two or three times before I beat him.

What generation did you find to be the hardest?

I've always thought that Gen IV was the hardest. Getting to a high enough level to take down the E4 was always one of the hardest parts of that game for me, and HG/SS were pretty difficult as well from what I can remember, but it's been so long since I've played that game that I probably don't have an accurate opinion on it.

I would definitely say 4th gen was the hardest for me. Like Golgari said, the leveling curve is atrocious -_- It took me like 4 or 5 tries to beat the Elite Four in HeartGold, and that was because the only way for me to efficiently gain experience at that point in the game was to challenge the Elite Four and get as far as I could over and over again.

(Gonna be a little lazy and ask a very similar question :P )

Definitely have to say Gen 6. Constant healing in the middle of a route, skipping hard parts of the game (like the surf from Petalburg to Slateport before you get fly), and the buffing of Exp. Share just made the games so incredibly easy that little to no effort was needed to be over-leveled.

Which generation did you find to be the easiest?

Probably 6th Gen. I cleared my X playthrough only 2-3 days after getting the game, but I did leave the Exp. Share on for the whole game so I found myself overleveled and destroying everything in my path.

Considering XY due to broken exp share makes you look like a wrecking ball towards other trainers and the league. I don't think I count ORAS as easiest the EXP is rather balanced than broken. Also the gym leaders, elite four and Diantha doesn't take things too serious or pressuring because you would wreck them pretty hard due to 0% diversity and tactics, aside from the other trainers are no breeze either.

Hate to say it, but I say Gen 5 considering the usage of the Audino + Lucky Egg method which can get your Pokemon to be overlevelled.

During my Black 2 run, my Pokemon are overlevelled (slightly) compared with the Champion, making it the first time my Pokemon are overlevelled.

Which generation did you find to be the easiest?

Generation 6, without a doubt. Not only did the Exp. Share make training a lot more efficient, but it seemed to me (especially in ORAS) that the gym leaders have been getting easier to defeat, even with underleveled teams, because they don't really use competitive movesets and such. Heck, in ORAS a lot of the leaders had their levels lowered from the original games even.
What are you so afraid of?

Gen six, due to all reasons above. Even though Exp. Share had made training more easy, I've felt that it was a nice change; training Pokémon could be a daunting task, and seeing this change a little... in my opinion, it's definitely something that's worth welcoming.

Gen 6, but not in a bad way. I really enjoyed it! It was a nice change from Gen 5, which I thought was the hardest.

Not terribly surprising that everyone says Gen 6 :P The exp share combined with the new exp yield equation is like miracle grow for your Pokemon's levels. In Y I actually had to try to keep from getting over leveled. And that was even with the exp share off -_-

Gen VI for the same reason as pretty much everyone else, the Exp. Share was crazy broken in this gen lol.

What Pokemon game have you replayed the most?
Lately, I've been replaying the Gen VI games a lot since it's so easy to just store all of my Pokemon in Bank and restart, but prior to that I replayed the Gen III games the most.

I always tend to find myself going back to my Black every now and then. But then again, I have quite a collection on that game.

I think it's probably HG, or maybe Plat. Or maybe Black 2, because I keep failing runs for that game ;-;

The Gen 1 games since I found myself replaying them a lot back then (and none of them have lead to finishing them). Right now I haven't replayed any main games yet but maybe next year.

Probably Red. It's the only game I restarted multiple times when I was younger (I used to save my game to my MegaMemory Card and restart, and I think I had 3 different full-length files, plus some partial ones). I've also played it a number of times more recently for challenges.

I no longer restart my files, but I have bought multiple copies of some of the recent games to have additional opportunities to play through them. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to take advantage of most of those copies yet (though I did play what was supposed to be a Wonderlocke on Y a little while ago, but I got kind of distracted partway through).
