How much time, on an average, do you spend per day watching anime? And, if you've been keeping track (using sites like MAL or Humminbird), how much anime in real-world time have you watched so far? If it is too much, do you feel bad about spending too much time on it? How much anime is too much for you?
I typically watch around 4 episodes a day on average, depending on what I'm doing and how bored I get throughout the day. MAL tells me I've watched 84.3 days of anime, which isn't really that much considering I've been watching anime on a regular basis since around 2006 or so. Although that doesn't include my rewatches (and I tend to rewatch my favourites every couple of years or so) I can't imagine that adding many more days on top, really. It's kinda disappointing, actually!

For me, too much anime would be something like 12+ episodes a day of the same series. I've watched entire series in a day before, and to be honest I didn't feel too great afterwards. I like to watch stuff slowly, so I tend only to watch one episode per day of a series, unless I'm re-watching, then I tend to watch a little quicker. I dunno why, but I can watch a lot of episodes of different series in a day, but if I watch a lot of episodes of the same series I always feel like I've watched too much. I guess that probably makes me a filthy casual or something, haha.

Per day? 0. Yeah, as much as I love anime, it's a commitment since I have to focus completely on it, so it's not really a daily thing and, similarly, it's a lot of the reason I don't pick up a lot of anime. But I do watch a lot of anime. 's weird.

How much anime do I watch in a session, though? It depends. Like, the shows that I really like, the shows that leave me wanting more after the end of each episode- those I can watch for an indefinite amount of times and number of episodes. Burn out isn't a problem because I can usually feel when the fun is starting to or is about to start dulling, and generally when it does I stop it early. That's how I got through all of Gintama in a Summer and had fun the whole way through (Oh, the hours in a day lost to that show). So it can vary from 24 minutes to several hours.

I can't really give an overall average on my time spent watching anime, as it is not quite a consistent hobby of mine anymore like playing video games. My anime-watching desires are rather inconsistent nowadays. During those periods where I am watching something, I typically watch about 4 episodes a day or every other day for series that are already completed. I seldom watch things as they initially air, but when I do I usually only juggle two currently-airing series at once. For completed series, I try to focus on one thing at a time.

My anime list thingy says I have watched less than 100 anime series/films, which is probably much less than the typical A&M denizen. Time spent watching totals around 3 weeks. How much anime is too much for me? I'm not sure... I haven't reached such a point yet. xD

Average is around 3 eps/day, but it's not 3 eps each day, but sometimes nothing and 10 eps next day...
As for time spent on anime, I have around 9 months so far.

MAL says I currently have 117.8 days of anime. I don't really have a commitment to watch a certain amount of episodes daily. If I find a series I like I'll watch it and depending how good it is will depend how much I'll watch.

Nowadays, I can only find time to watch one or two anime episode a week. I have studying for exams to "thank" for this -_-

But during months where I don't go through studying hell, I'd say I watch about a day of anime per week... and make that 3+ days when I decide to marathon a series. So overall my anime-watching schedule is pretty sporadic. I'm never too consistent with it.

I've watched 10 months, 15 days, 9 hours and 13 minutes of anime.
That should tell you, basically. Anyway, since I literally schedule anime, I spend about eight hours a day on anime. I have a lot of time on my hands, so I just sit and watch all the anime I schedule. It's usually no more than 15 episodes a day. No, I don't need a new hobby...anime keeps me going. =/

Myanimelist says I have spent 336.2 days watching anime. I think I should feel bad about it.
That's actually higher than both Laptrap's and Satoshi's time. Holy cow. That surprises me quite a bit lmao. :O Nothing to feel bad about, though. As long as you keep things in moderation each day and somehow manage to have a fulfilling life apart from anime and have accumulated that insane stat over the course of quiiiiite a few years, yeah. :b

Average is around 3 eps/day, but it's not 3 eps each day, but sometimes nothing and 10 eps next day...

That's true for most of us, actually. :p
Maybe more than 2.5x mine. Wew.

Eight hours everyday? But uhh, does your body not ache? Or your eyes? Or some sort of an aftereffect? I can have a marathon like that once in a while but everyday is impossible for me ;___;

I've watched 3 months, 23 days, 15 hours and 26 minutes of anime - is what Hummingbird says.

Days: 153.2 - is what MAL says.

I have no idea which is more accurate. But I think I'll go with MAL.

Anyway, my watch session each day varies from anywhere between none to around 8 episodes. I usually don't watch more than 4-5 each day. But then there are times when I get hooked onto series and end up watching 10-12. But those are very rare occurrences. The only instance I remember of myself watching a lot of anime in a day since I started college 1.5 years ago is...well, Nodame Cantabile during a rewatch session. 21 episodes in a day. And it felt awesome. XD;I'm mostly free these days so I watch anywhere between 4-5 episodes per day. But yeah. It varies quite a bit. I'm actually content with how much I've seen and don't feel regret over watching too much nor too less or anything like that.

I've managed anywhere between 0 and 10 episodes per day this year. Typically closer to 1-3, though. I think I've had a few sessions where I peaked at 15 in past years, though. At least for full length episodes. I've pushed 35 in a row via marathoning multiple seasons of shorts like Teekyu, but those are shorts.

As for total time? MAL says I've watched 65.7 hours, though that's a bit of a lie since I've reset my watch timers for several shows recently because I decided to just start over from the beginning.

I've seen 4,290 episodes and completed 220 series. I've been watching anime on and off while knowing it was anime for around 10 years, though the hobby really kicked into gear in 2010 and again in 2014 despite my day count only climbing 17 days since the beginning of 2014, as a lot of that is because I reset several watch timers throughout these past 21 months like I said in the last paragraph. I mean, I've apparently completed 110 series in that time frame. Wayback Machine link for comparison: https://web.archive.org/web/20140127100538/http://myanimelist.net/profile/donavannj

On average it would be less than 30 minutes a day. I watch or follow 4-5 episodes per week. I rarely marathon a series. If I do marathon, I can easily spend several hours in one day watching anime. I've finished 12 episode anime in a day before. :D

MAL says I have watch time of 22 days or 528 hours, which is inaccurate as I haven't been updating it to include some series. If I've seen 5+ episodes each week for the past 8 years (416 weeks), I've easily hit 800+ hours of watch time then.
