The iPhone? Seriously? That has to be a flawed study. My Nexus 6 can photograph circles around the latest iPhone. So can most other flagship android devices.
Yes, a flawed study where a blind test was carried out, and people voted on the one that looked best to them without knowing the actual devices.

Super flawed, lol

Nah, flawed because they let the average joe vote on the pictures, not an expert or set of reasonably informed enthusiasts.

This sounds similar to the no true Scotsman argument, in the sense that that's really an endless slippery slope. The moment you draw the line and prioritise people's opinions is the moment you throw away any ability to use them as reference.

from looking at the images most of the time I picked the ones produced by the Note 5 followed by the Xperia. Didn't see how the iPhone 6S was that good anyway when the other two phones produced better images closest to the DLSR.

If you get a good smartphone, it's reassuring to know you'll be able to take good photos for quick snaps.

I think the new iPhone cameras are good, but not great.

Not a huge jump from the previous generation.

I'm enjoying other features like the super fast Touch ID and 3D Touch more than the camera and gimmicky Live Photos.
