So, what time do you usually wake up in the morning? Do you have any reason for it (ex. work or school)? Do you like to sleep in, or are you one of those early birds who gets the worm first? :P

I usually wake up at most between two in the morning to ten in the morning. It depends mostly on how tired I am. I like to wake early because I feel like if I wake up later than that, it ruins my entire day. A lot of those is because of my strict routine and such. :c

So what about you?

Any time around 10 am, I wake up earlier but I tend to laze in bed until then lol. I don't really have a routine to follow but I like to keep my sleep schedule in order just in case.

Most days I get up at 6 am. Sometimes at 5, if I want to start early and quit earlier than usual. Work starts at 8 and ends at 5 pm usually.

weekends, I sleep for as long as possible!!

When I was in school and the times I've had work I'd always get up at 5:30 AM or so. Nowadays is varies a bit. Some days I can't sleep in really past 6 AM, other days I can sleep til like 8:30 AM. Usually it's between 7 and 7:30 lately. Any longer than 8:30 is a rarity though. Last time I woke up later than that was over a year ago, because I was flying back to New Jersey from Minnieapolis and the flight was delayed so I didn't get home until like 2 in the morning.

The average time I wake up at is 6:40AM-7:00AM - weekdays AND on weekends. I prefer to wake up pretty early.
I've honestly never slept past 9:30AM in my life.

I always wake up at 8:00 every day because my cat wakes me up at that time to be fed. I could fall asleep afterwards, but I'd just rather stay up. I feel like I have so much more time in the day. I used to sleep in until noon, but after a while it felt like such a waste. So my cat is now my alarm clock, and it's probably a good thing there isn't a snooze button, haha.

I'm typically up at 6am, 6:30am at the latest if I happen to sleep in for whatever reason (exhaustion, clocks going back, etc) although it's more out of habit than it is for want of anything to do, at least at the moment.

As for why...well, my little brother used to have me up at 4am or earlier when he was younger, and my mother always made sure I was up at 7am at the latest when I was in school, so I've never really had much rest in the morning. As I've gotten older and used to it, I've just pushed the time I get up forward a bit, mostly because I was waking up at 6am anyway and got bored just lying there.

I am very much a morning person. Sleeping in is wasting the day away, and I absolutely cannot stand doing it. I can't stay up ridiculously late - I need at least six hours of sleep a day to function - but I make up for it by getting up early. It was useful whilst I was working too, as I got a good two hours in before leaving to do things. xD

Thanks to my work schedule, I find it difficult to sleep past around 8am on a morning. Even on days off, I find myself waking up at around 6. I have no problems getting back to sleep, however.

I would love to be able to stay in bed until midday.

School days I wake up at 5:30 due to the ever annoying alarm clock, and school weekends I wake up at seven, no later than eight, no matter what time I go to sleep at night; during the summer it's more in the ten-twelve range.

Initially, I wake up at 6AM because noise wakes me up. The kids go to school, and I just stay home unless my program is on for the day, in which case, I have to be up by 8. The rest of the time, unless I have nothing to do, I'm in bed until 11AM because I'm always up until 2AM and need my sleep, aha.

On school days, I always get up at 5:45 in the morning. But on the weekends or during breaks, you have no chance of getting me out of bed before 11:00-ish. I usually wake up on my own at any time between 7-9AM, end up going back to sleep for a few hours, and wake up again around noon. In a couple of extreme cases, I've accidentally slept in until 2:30 in the afternoon. I don't like to get up early if I don't have to, since I usually end up being really sleep deprived throughout the week. Christmas is an exception, though!

I generally wake up around 6 AM nowadays, since I have classes pretty early. I miss the days when my classes started at noon because I was able to get a lot more sleep and do homework right before class, but the downside to that was heavy traffic. <__<

On days when I don't have class, I almost always wake up earlier than 9 AM. I used to like sleeping in, but now I'm sorta accustomed against it, haha.

Usually between 9 and 11 am, depending on how insistent the cat is, and what time I ended up falling asleep the night before.

I want to try nudging myself back to earlier wakeup times, though. While I have no pressing need to do so at the moment, I also feel like I could be more productive overall if I didn't, you know, pretty much sleep the entire morning away.

(Plus if I get myself into a situation where I do need to start waking up early...it won't be as hard to do so!)

It depends if I'm tired or not. If not, I wake up at, like, 5 AM. If I'm tired, depends on what time I slept.

Good to know I'm not the only one suffering from sleep deprivation regularly, heh. During my co-op terms, where I've had to commute to Toronto everyday, waking up at 6:15 has become standard, but my sleep schedule becomes entirely different during the academic terms. There was a period of time where I was beyond lazy and would wake up 2-3pm in the summertime, but that left me feeling groggy. At the moment, on weekends, I will sleep in as much as possible, until around lunch time.

The only reason I hate summer mornings, is waking up the screaming kids on the street...or hearing loud trucks.
