Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest (known in the original Japanese version as Doubutsu Banchou), the video game, has finally been released in Japan exclusively for the Nintendo Gamecube as published by Nintendo. Sadly, due to less than unfavorable sales, Nintendo announced that it had no intentions to localize Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest outside of Japan. The game remained Japan-only until Atlus, the developer of the Shin Megami Tensei video game series, had localized it in the North America. It is unknown whether Nintendo, Altus or both own the rights to Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest as their own intellectual property in Japan and the North America. Did you know?

I don't know who owns it but I have heard of it. You're a cube creature who goes around eating other cube creatures and absorbing their powers, becoming the top predator in the area, and then when you've done all that you literally mate to death and then play as your offspring and start the cycle again. Cubivore is weird.
