Hi Pokemon trainers!
Firstly I apologise if this is not the best place to post the following. I've been searching around the forums for 30minutes and couldn't see anywhere that would be relevant :/ If there is somewhere better for me to post this I'll be more than happy to take it there :3
Basically I'm finally at the Pokemon league in Alpha Sapphire after a week of playing and now I'm stuck on who I should use o.O From the get go I kinda went a little crazy, thanks to Pokebank and have been raising 12 Pokemon since playing. Obviously I can't use all of them xD And now I'm stuck on who I should take with me to face the elite 4 and Simon. I've got to raise them to level 55 before I go kick their butts but here's my team;
Sceptile (Sceptilite)
Charizard (Charizardite X)
Blastoise
Manectric (Manectite)
Altaria (Altarianite)
Mightyena (Intimidate)
Alakazam (Alakazite)
Latias (Latiasite)
Gallade (Wished I never used the dawn stone)
Vibrava (Soon to be Flygon)
Shelgon (Soon to be Salamence)
And finally....
Sylveon
It's not that varied unlike my other games, so yeah my bad xD but I should be able to beat the elite four with at least 6 of these guys!
Any thoughts or advise on who I should use would really be appreciated
Hiya!
I think you'll find some quality help in the
In-Game Team Help section, so I went ahead and moved it over there for you ^_^
If I could just give my input, remember that when you're going against the Elite Four, you'll be facing a Dark-type, Ghost-type, Ice-type, Dragon-type, and Steel-type specialist, in that order. Personally, I've always found that Mega Altaria is a
great Pokemon to have on your team when facing the Elite Four--does really well against both Phoebe and Drake. I'd say Mightyena is a good choice against Phoebe type-wise, but keep in mind that Mightyena doesn't have amazing stats. Gallade and Charizard would both be good choices for dealing with Glacia--they both have pretty solid stats and have the type-advantage (Glacia's Walrein is also a Water-type though, keep in mind, so Fire-type attacks will only do neutral damage). Manectric can actually learn Flamethrower via TM, so I'd imagine it'd be effective against Glacia, since it can hit the Ice-types on her team with Flamethrower, and the Water-types with all the various Electric-type attacks it has at its disposal.
Hopefully some other people here will have some input, but other than that, I'd say give it a try at least once, see what works, and adjust from there :)
