So, how do you feel about leftovers for dinner/after holidays (like Thanksgiving or Christmas)? Do you love them? Hate them? What have been some of your favorite leftovers?

I adore holiday leftovers! We don't do much regular leftovers though. Sometimes, we do save scraps for our dog to have the next night for dinner. :3

We don't have christsmas but usually if there are big dinners, leftovers are a lot. I just keep them and put into fridge so I can eat them tomorrow. Save my family money and they are tasty too!

The only Thanksgiving leftovers I really like is having corn mixed with a bowl of mashed potatoes, and not much else :x We barely had any leftovers at all this year, which isn't really the norm. I don't mind eating leftovers in general though, but some things just plain don't taste right when they are reheated.

We usually have leftovers but didn't this year as well. I suppose it's mainly because we bought a smaller turkey and didn't cook as many veggies to go with it. I'm a bit sad though as I always look forward to eating them the next day :(

We have a ton of turkey leftovers this year actually, we had a 22 lbs turkey this year but I don't eat meat, so... :( Come to think of it, my Thanksgiving was pretty scarce as a whole this year - we always have the traditional foods, but we didn't have any baked macaroni and cheese, green beans, or salad or anything. Oh well, there's always next year lol.

Wow lucky! That's a HUGE turkey haha. ours was only around 14 pounds I think :( I am going to make sure that we buy a much bigger one for Christmas :3

It depens on the type of food actually, some foods are still good after like three days of having been left over (e.g. I love cold pizza the morning after the day we ordered or made it) while others become not-so-desireable after just a few hours x:
But in general, I'd say I like leftovers especially if it's food I like

Pretty much me and my family. Agreed on the money saving part, haha. We actually still have some leftovers from yesterday's Thanksgiving and it'll probably last us for tomorrow also.

Also in agreement with the others sometimes I look forward to left over pizza heh.

Yeah, we have our good share of leftovers on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had some today for dinner, but we made chili for lunch. It was decent. I took some slices of turkey, along with some guacamole that we had used for chips, and slapped it onto a bagel along with some cheddar cheese. Tasty.

We usually just store and eat as we need. Means we don't have to cook for at least a week or so after Christmas/ New Year.

Leftovers are fantastic. But not with every food, of course. The holiday lefties are cherished, practically better than the day-of meal itself, too. I think it's finding a balance and over the years learning what works the next day and what doesn't. That leftover cheesy mashed potato never gets old ^___^ (well, it does, but you know what I mean)

Mom: "Where did the leftover macaroni go?"

Me: "Leftover macaroni? Uh..."

Mom: "You ate the leftovers again, didn't you?"

I don't mind eating leftovers, personally. I truly enjoy just having to pop open a tubberware and getting a fork and just eating it like that. It's fast and easy.

I'm like the only one in my family that likes broccoli casserole beside my mom, so there is always leftovers. I LOVE broccoli casserole, I don't really know why since I don't even like broccoli raw but when they're steamed I find them amazing. I ate the casserole for 3 days straight after Christmas was over.

I love leftovers depending on what they are. At the moment we have leftovers from the New Years party my parents hosted last night. There's plenty of leftover chops, sausages, chicken drumsticks, salad, potato salad etc for me to dive into if I'm hungry. Plus, it'll free up space in the fridge for even MORE food. Winning? I think so!
