As the title suggests, what do you think that the fifth gen games will be most remembered for? For you, what were the most memorable parts about the fifth gen games, and why do they stand out for you? If you would change any aspects about those parts, what would you change?

Feel free to share thoughts/ideas!

I think these games will be remembered for their great storylines and large, explore friendly region. The plot with Team Plasma in the games was far more in-depth than in games past and really set the tone for future games after it, as seen in Gen VI now. I also enjoyed how large the region and how many areas i could explore, especially post-game.

The most memorable part for me was in my Pokemon Black and at the Pokemon League, the Castle rising up and knowing that this was how it was going to end, my character against N, Reshiram vs Zekrom. That cutscene was one of my favorite all-time. There really isn't anything i personally want to change without going into a page and a half long analysis that is related more to how Pokemon in general can improve and change, not just Pokemon Black. I think these games were a step in the right direction and were a good stepping stone for Gen VI to build off of, which they have.

Everything: The music, the huge variety of Pokemon, the different approach to the plots, the graphics, the Pokemon World Tournament, and lots more.

But if I have to choose only one, that will be the plot, which took a very interesting approach compared with the previous games.

What the majority of people will probably remember about the games, at least Black and White, would probably be the story and the fact that you could only use Gen V Pokemon before the post-game, since that's mainly what riles people up about them. And if you're a competitive battler, Gen V weather wars.

What is personally probably the most memorable moment in the games for me is this:

And the scene in Black2/White2 where Ghetsis tries to kill you.

The most memorable part of Gen V for me would have to have been the new Pokemon, especially since those were all you could find during a playthrough until post-game. And N was an interesting character as well.

I haven't finished the 2nd games yet though :x

Merry Christmas!

I think my best moments included the scene where you found yourself encountering the new Pokemon for the first time, but especially the epic scenes at the end which involve N's Castle rising and the awakening of the legendary mascots.
Gone forever for personal reasons.

The most memorable for me would be the elite for and battling Alder and that Boufolant (made me really want one for my self I had to trade in the regi trio to beat it lol) I also liked the more frequent rival battles fighting Cheren was fun and still is! I also loved all the gen V pokemon Snivy is my personal fav of all of them! The game was so great that I couldn't stop playinh and finished it in a day! Now I am having tons of fun doing a challenge on it so far 2 elite 4 down 2 to go then I fight N!

Shiny Pokemon I have caught: Rapidash (SS), Linoone (E), Spinda (E), Bibarel (Pt), Weedle (FR), Garbodor (X), Chansey(x5) (X), Audino(x2) (X), Flechinder (Mn), Whiscash (Mn), Magby (Mn), Caterpie (X)

The cutscenes are really a huge step-up. Even the intro has a really good cut-scene showing the brief history of N and the mysterious-like music really made the cutscenes far better.

Generation V is my favourite, because so many things changed. The deeper, darker story and the interesting characters are what I'll always remember about it.

The most memorable moment for me was finding N's room in the castle. I found myself standing in there for a while, taking in everything. I think it was the first time a main series Pokémon game made me cry. But watching Zekrom wake from his slumber to help me was amazing, too.
