I've read that certain big performers like Justin Timberlake, Nikki Minaj, etc. have to go through a certain ritual before they will perform. For example, Justim Timberlake has to have an entire floor of a hotel for himself, stay in a plain white room, have everything cooked a certain way and be given a brand new Xbox One and Playstation 4 before he will perform. I've also heard this about certain speakers, movie stars, etc. before they will do anything.

Do you think that they do this because of arrogance and feel like they might deserve this kind of treatment? Or do you think that there is a method behind the madness? Also, do you think that these performers acted like this 20-30 years ago? I feel like things may have changed a bit, but I really don't know.

probably depends on the person. some are just superstitious and some are actually kind of crazy. can you source that Justin Timberlake thing though. if he actually has to be given a brand new Xbox One and PS4 before he performs, then that's ridiculous, but I feel like that just can't be true, TBQFH.

I can understand trying to get into the proper mindset for performing, as it can take a lot out of a person, but some celebrities probably take it too far. The only arrogance I can see coming out of this is one person thinking that they're so important that they need to put so many people out of their way to make sure everything is completely right for them, and then they'll refuse to perform if the requirements aren't met. I guess that mindset arises when you have a following of people willing to do that for you without a complaint.

I don't know anything about pre-performance rituals, though, so I could be spewing out lies.

It does seem this way. I mean, Justin Beiber has gone to Disneyland (or world I forget) in a wheelchair once. He 'claimed' to have a basketball injury. However, he was seen in a photo with a fan standing up like no big deal. It sickens me because why should he get that much special treatment? He's already going to get front of the line access for being a celebrity. That is, if they still even do that anymore. I'm sure they do.

So, I agree that a lot of stars are being spoiled these days. It seems once they hit a certain age, they feel they can do whatever they want. Why is that? Because hell, they're a celebrity. They usually DO get away with a lot of **** they shouldn't.

Yeah some stars are spoiled but celebrities have always been spoiled. i mean look at rockstars from like th 70s/80s having huge parties, destroying hotel rooms, doing tons of drugs, having extravagant private jets, etc, etc. i guess if we're talking about rock stars, i think they have only become less spoiled in the past decade or 2 (for the most part).
