What are some games that are so bad that you won't play them? Are there any for you? For example, games like South Park The Stick of Truth, Wolfenstein and GTA are games that some people just can't play because it goes against their consciousness.

Personally for me, there are none. If the ESRB allows them then I will play them if I want. The only scene that has kind of perturbed me was the scene in MW3 where you shoot up that airport. And that scene was optional because of how bad it was.

None. I can't really be disgusted by a game to the point of not wanting to play it, and it's pretty hard to offend me through the use of gray or objectionable subject matter. I guess you could say that I don't really have a moral line when it comes to media.

If it's AAA game, I avoid it.

Other than that, no game has crossed the moral line for me...
But well, I'm playing Japanese games, I have little different views on VG morale =D

Not really keen on shooters for this reason. Graphic ones, anyway. Shooting monsters in Jak II or Jet Force Gemini is nothing compared to games where you shoot people and it's really detailed. I don't know, it just...gives me an eerie vibe and it's not okay with me. I mean, I play games where you kill people, like Tales, but that's no where near what bothers me because it's not so showy about it. Like you don't see the people fall down in their own blood and such. idk. It's just too real for me and that's not the kind of person I am.

I'm not the kind of person who is easily offended by a game where you play some some culturally questionable figures. I played Command and Conquer Generals and played as the Global Liberation Army (GLA) faction often, which are basically middle eastern terrorist expys, and found blowing up China and USA armies to smithereens with suicide bombers and angry mobs rather fun. And if I remember correctly, C&C Generals was around during the US-Iraq war period.

When I was younger, much much younger, I remember my auntie who didn't want me to buy ANY Devil May Cry game because she thought that the game idolized the devil, and thought Dante was The Devil.

And there are the Shin Megami Tensei games where the side of Law is often vilified. Heck in the SMT universe, YHWH or God is portrayed as a dictatorial ruler who wish to control the world and the universe with his divine fist. As a person growing up in a roman catholic family, I found this rather entertaining since it was a nice way to portray Christianity in a darker fashion.

There are no games that cross moral lines enough for me not to play them. games are a fantasy where you can do what you want with no consequence. In fact i'm probably more likely to play a game with some sort of moral dilemma because I think its interesting to think about what I would personally do in these situations.

When it comes to games that cross the moral line that make me sick, it not so much games but rather certain levels. Two certain scenes or levels that stick out are the level No Russian in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and the scene Davis Family Vacation in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. The first one because of the airport massacre. As for the second one, well poison gas attack. Fortunately both are optional for viewing in game.

I have a very morbid sense of humour and a strong stomach, so games like South Park are right up my alley. Graphic stuff doesn't bother me at all either, since I'm a big horror fan. Like people point out--games are art, expression, and set in fantastical settings, so anything is morally acceptable, theoretically.

Idk if you can call it "moral," but I do sometimes have problems playing games (or especially anime) that objectify women so blatantly and so frequently throughout a game. I don't care if it's a couple scenes with a minor character, or if the whole character's point is her sexuality--but I care when there's absolutely no other reason to other than for "fanservice" or to please horny boys. I guess the same can be said about men, but since I'm not attracted to men, I don't notice it, lol.

My morals drop to abysmal levels on some games; playing Mortal Kombat X since launch, and I do fatalities/brutalities almost automatically. I'm not easily fazed by blood, gore and all-around violence in games, so it won't prevent me from enjoying certain games. However, I tend to stick with the "good guys" for some reason, and I legit feel bad when I kill someone I feel I shouldn't have killed.

Since most fanservice is aimed at straight men, therefore tend to feature women... I'm not too keen on it - partially because I'm a straight gal and I just... I just really, really don't care about cleavage. If there's a decent ratio of female-to-male fanservice, I'm pretty okay about it. (Funny thing, MKX is a good example of that XD)

There is no knowledge that is not power.

I play Postal 2 for fun. I don't think there are any games that skirt the moral line for me. At least not when it comes to violence. I don't mind sex in games either honestly, though they don't much appeal to me. I do like these things to serve a purpose though. Like in Postal it's all social commentary and satire that drives the offensive content, and in Red Dead Redemption the one sex scene I am aware of is used to show what a scum bag one of the characters you work for really is. When the immoral content suddenly stops serving a purpose is when I think it crosses that line.
