TRAILERS
Spoiler:
A date for the anime Boku no Hero Academia has finally been announced! Even though the anime isn't coming till spring season next year, I'm extremely excited about it since I've been reading and enjoying it over the last few months. Anyone have plans to watch this?
If you want a taster of of what it's going to be like you should definitely check out the VOMIC (video comic - coloured manga pages animated and voiced by the VAs):
This is the same videos that are on the official website, but has been subbed here.
I've dabbled in the manga a bit lately because I saw it all over Tumblr, and it made me curious. It does seem to me like something that would definitely get an anime adaption, so hopefully they treat it well. I'm nowhere near caught up in the manga, but maybe at this point I'll just read slowly and bide my time so I can start with the anime, more or less. That way I won't sit there and compare it the entire time. Choices..

I actually dropped this series two times after reading chapter one. It felt really generic and not gripping at all. But then one day, after hearing news of it getting an anime adaptation and hearing nothing but good things about it again and again and again, I finally gave it a proper shot. And it really caught me off-guard with how good it was! I love all the characters (even Bakugou XD) and the utilization of powers in the fights is really creative.
Also, all girls in this series are best girls. I mean, holy ****, Yaoyorozu, Ochako, Tsuyu <333 They're probably the most adorable girls I've seen in a shounen title. They're all so innocent and lovable yet somewhat sexy (their designs are great!).
Exactly. This is one BIG reason as to why I'm so pumped to watch this. BONES being at helm will definitely make sure to alleviate any concerns I might've had about the animation of the series not being up to par for the source material. <3;
