Do you like to sit down and play your games on a big TV, or have the ability to be able to play a game anywhere, at any time? I feel like companies are trying to utilize the consoles so that it is more possible to be able to do both. However, there is a line where if they make a console a handheld game, then they could lose sales. Which one is your favorite, and why?

I feel that handhelds do better than consoles because they are normally cheaper and are better for accessibility. If you are always on the run, and like games then you can still play some of your favorite series. I feel like companies should push more to make more of their bigger games for handhelds.

I tend to balance a bit of both, even if Pokemon really is the only thing I play on the handhelds these days.

I love both. I have a long commute to work (1 hour forth, 1 hour back on a good day) and it gets tedious. I tend to keep handheld games for that, but that won't stop me from playing them at home either. The problem is my handhelds' battery lives... If I can do 4 hours on my NDS, I'll be happy - it sees a charge every night and I have to use the Dreamcase I bought for it a while back, on top of it. Roughly the same with my PSP. I also install emulators on my phone, but I can use up 60%-80% of the battery for that just during the commute... so I gotta watch out.

At home, since I'm more comfortable and also less limited, I'll hover around consoles or PC gaming.

There is no knowledge that is not power.

I'm pretty much always stuck at home. Always. I play homemaker, work from home, all that jazz. So the convenience of portability isn't really my top priority, hell it's hardly a factor for me. Comfort, however, is.

Given that, I do tend to lean more towards home consoles/PC gaming. I can play them comfortably for longer periods of time. I like having a keyboard/mouse or a light controller, as opposed to holding a weighty handheld with the controls on it. And staring at my 28" monitor or my 42" TV is far more tolerable than my comparatively tiny 3DS XL screen. Not to mention the graphical differences -- it seems like everything on the 3DS is really pixelated, like anti-aliasing just isn't a thing, and even that's hard for me to stare at for long periods of time.

But even with all that said, it's still going to come down to, "What do I want to play?" lol

I try to balance them, I really do. I own both PS4 and PS3 so I have a solid console base.
But Vita-tan is too strong.

I use my laptop and handheld for gaming purposes while my XBox360 collects dust. Yeah, I like handhelds more than consoles. Probably because my first gaming console was a Gameboy.

Like a couple of people here, only really play Pokemon and occasional smash on handheld. Although I don't really have the newer consoles, I often go to friends' house to play the, and I prefer them over handhelds.

I enjoy some console games but I am an handheld lover. I like to play video games and watch TV at the same time or you know, goes everywhere I want.

My dream is to see all my favorite N64 games on 3DS, like they did with Zelda's, Mario 64, and Diddy kong racing byt Conker and Banjo are missing and I hate that x.x
