Blaze's Website Review

*plays scary music*

Graphics: 2/10 || Basically, the site is very plain
Freshness: 9/10 || It is good to see you are updating your site daily, even if you just opened XD
Content 5/10 || When I went to view the Ruby/Sapphire Walkthrough, I found the font very hard to read.

Total Points: 16/30
Blaze's Final Words: Although my score might seem very low, it is basically because your site is new and there are alot of things you need to tidy up first. I will surely check back at your site soon and do a follow up review ^_^

Like Kuni said, You have alot of content. You just need a good layout. You only have 2 pictures that are exactly the same yet, the only thing diff. about them is that they're facing a different direction. Try to get more colors not just all the same other wise it's boring and add more pics,but not too many. The cursor over the links is just yuck.....It's not best to have red and blue/purple right next to eachother in my opinion (unless it's been like bledned in like the RS posters xD) other wise you have a nice site. Keep the good work ^.-

I changed the color of the links - does it look better now?

Edit: That walkthrough isn't mine so I had to keep the same formatting that it came in. The author was nice enough to give me permission to use it but he didn't want me to modify it. I plan on writing a new walkthrough myself after I'm done with the Pokedex.

Ooh, content! *is in love*

Now, I'm not as much of a layout-person as your average webmaster, but I do have some comments on it.

Mewtwo's colors in the banner look off, reminding me of the kind of effect you get when you save an image as a GIF in Paint and then afterwards paste a picture into it, which will then have had its colors slightly changed to fit the palette. Either way, you should really update Mewtwo's colors while waiting for somebody to make you a banner and submit in the contest.

Additionally, I feel that the font on the menu headings doesn't seem to match the overall style of the site.

But great job on the site nonetheless.

Still not going to sprite for your fangame. Sorry, but I don't really sprite or give out permission for people to use my fake Pokémon anymore.

Wow... I see content... O.o
(I gotta start adding some of that to WCC sometime) :P
I really like the amount of content that you have, and it's not "typical" content either- like you have the Kyogre/Groudon cutscene, downloads, etc. But the layout is bleh... And the Mewtwo looks washed out or something. But overall, give it a better layout and you've got yourself a nice little site there. ^^

Another suggestion, you might want to start using PHP includes before you get a ton of pages that you have to keep updating, because it looks like you're just using .html for everything right now. =/

It's nice to see a site that doesn't rely on flashy graphics. I like the layout. And the content is excellent ^^;

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."

ANNOY ME AT YOUR PERIL. I am becoming increasingly tired of the unmanly elitism and closed-mindedness of certain members who shall remain unnamed.

Content? You criticize the content? Have a look, at first glance it doesn't seem like much but it's *packed*. ^^;
