which tool can change the town names in the map of Pokemon Gold? i tried GSC Town Map Editor but there's no option to change the names.

Search the text you want to edit with a hex editor, using this table for the conversion: http://datacrystal.romhacking.net/wiki/Pokemon_Gold:TBL

Save it as a .tbl file and load it with your hex editor, then do a search in text mode.

Thank you. i managed to change it with Goldfinger and help with that .tbl. one last thing....is there a proper tutorial to change the text 'GOLD VERSION' on the ho-oh title screen? i tried with tlp but keep messing it up. maybe i didnt get the right bmp file.
