  • Pokemon, Silver Ambition - Kanto

    Rated M

    Introduction

    I. The Past
The Kanto region has seemingly always been a land filled with conflict. The great Pokemon war, the exploits of Giovanni and his villainous Team Rocket along with all the lasting aftereffects and the ripples of trauma created in other regions. Kanto has had a tough break this past century. Soon after the final fall of Team Rocket, many smaller gangs broke out across the region until the ex-leader of Team Rocket - Giovanni returned from his extended vacation. The man had grown old, his hair had grayed and his eyes had grown weary. The ex-criminal mastermind crushed the rising gangs with his powerful Pokemon and then turned himself in to the authorities along with a short list of all those still acting on the Rocket name.

It seemed all was going to be peaceful at the time, but in the shadows another name slowly gained fame. Giovanni was often visited in prison by his son Silver, who eventually grew up and became a scientist. Starting out as an employee at Silph Co., the young man quickly learned and rose to the top to join the board of directors. After a few years of holding that position, a new threat rose within the region and all fingers pointed towards the son of the ex-Rocket leader. To silence his accusers, the now young man of twenty-five left his seat at the board and quickly quelled the new threat. Reporters flocked to interview the man, and Silver happily accepted.

Following the incident, Silver announced that he would create his own research and development company. Silph Co. apologized for hastily accusing him and compensated their actions with a rather large sum of cash to help in kickstarting his new company. Several gyms followed soon after, and their leaders left to join as a part of this new company's board. Silver named the company after his father's organization - Team Rocket. At first there was some backlash. Many thought that Silver was blatantly trying to revive the criminal organization, but after he and his father both revealed what his intentions had been at the founding of the company most of their complaints disappeared. However, the Kanto Police continued to keep a watchful eye over the operations of the newly founded Silver Rocket Research Company for several years before accepting there was no shady business to be found.

    II. The Present
Fifty years have passed since the formation of the Silver Rocket Research Company, bringing most of the founding members up into their late eighties or nineties. Silver remains the only original member still on the board of directors, and he has stated that he wishes to remain in this position until his death despite outbursts from his children. In the past fifty years, Kanto has been peaceful. Crime is at an all time low and poverty is moving towards not existing. However, there are still some who feel the pressure of rising economic prices. Though the economy is doing well, some talent-less single parent homes are struggling to make ends meet.

Trainers who peaked at reaching the Indigo Plateau have fallen on to hard times, failing to achieve the glory that making the Hall of Fame brings. Their only options have since become to continue traveling the regions and hope that they manage to enter and complete the challenge of another Pokemon League, renounce their dreams of being a professional trainer or take on a life of crime. Most trainers opt for the first option, hoping that one day they'll make it big. Others who also desire to have families fall for the second option, taking on low paying jobs to afford paying bills and feeding both Pokemon, spouse and child. Few have turned a life of crime, surviving only for weeks until capture.

Those trainers who settled for the second option, hoping to raise a family fall into hard times. Their full-grown Pokemon literally eating holes in their pockets, and table scraps feeding their human loved ones they're forced to take drastic measures. Some trainers have chose to go the easier route with releasing or selling off their Pokemon to breeders or researchers, while others have chosen the harder, more inhumane route. Unable to part with their Pokemon with which so many memories have been shared, they opt to enter medical trials with the SRR or at times... offer their young children to the company if they end up with twins.

    III. The antagonists

    Spoiler:

IV. Other important NPCs and where/how they fit in

    Spoiler:

    V. important locations - labs and underground arenas

    Spoiler:

    I. What's all this got to do with me?

You are one of two things at this time. You are either one of those unlucky twins, sold off to the company at a young age to be used as test subjects or you're a vounteer. Volunteers must be older than 17, however other characters can be any age from 7-27.

II. What off limits for you to be?

    - No legendaries
    - No starter Pokemon
    - You may only start out as a first stage Pokemon
    - No Ditto
    - I recommend not using Pokemon without evolutions like Dunsparce, but you're free to if you wish.

    III. Talents vs abilities

If you choose to be a volunteer instead of property of the company, you may choose to have a talent. A talent is something that your character grew up with, whether that be hightened strength, speed, intelligence, etc. or something more along the lines of specialistic is up to you. If you choose to be property of the company you will not be allowed to have a talent however, since you never were given the opportunity to develop into anything other than the Pokemon whose DNA you've been combined with. That being said, the main difference in the two options is if you have a talent then your 'stats' will be boosted, making you generally stronger in all areas and significantly stronger in your talent's area but you will lack as much control over your new DNA and won't have access to abilities or some of the more powerful moves. If you choose to be property, then you'll start out with an ability that the final evolution in your line will have - and down the line you'll get a bigger movepool, though you're more like an average Pokemon both in skills and appearance.

    IV. Rules
    - Follow the RPT and PC rules
    - This RP is rated M to allow for more creativity in general.
    - There will be certain plot points that will come up allowing you to progress along your evolutionary line. I will give these out as I see fit.
    - This RP will be rather short and to the point. Depending on the number of players there will be a certain number of locations to be explored in addition to the region itself. Once those have been completed, I'll provide a few options to finish the RP before moving the adventure on to the next region in a new thread.

    IV. Character Sheet

    - Name:
    - Gender:
    - Evolutionary line:
    - Natural talent/Pokemon Ability: Note that all subjects with Pokemon DNA in them will be able to fluently understand when Pokemon speak.
    - Attacks: If you have a talent you may choose up to 7 moves from your first stage's pool. If you have a Pokemon ability you will be allowed to use any move from your current or past stages' move pools.
    - Appearance in/out of combat: Volunteers will be able to switch between appearing as normal people and having the traits/appearance of a humanoid version of their pokemon. Others will always appear in a 'combat ready' form, constantly having traits of their pokemon.
    - Personality:
    - History:

    Player List
    - aeternum as Chloe the Spheal Orphan
    - crimsoncero as Valeria Fulhurst the Pawniard volunteer
    - Kyoko as Dom the orphan Ralts

I have a question about the move pools. Would it be possible to draw moves from the egg moves movepool, or only the level up one?

Example I have in mind: I was wanting to pick the Cleffa line. However, since Cleffa is a baby pokemon, it has a grand total of exactly 7 moves in the level up pool. I was thinking about the possibility of supplementing it with moves like Misty Terrain and Heal Pulse from the egg move pull. If not, I understand, and can find another evo line or start from Clefairy.

It depends on if you're wanting to be an orphan or a volunteer. If you want to be an orphan then you'll be allowed to use only your level up set and a single TM/HM. If you're a volunteer then I'll allow you to use any moves you can learn in your first form besides TM/HM.

This seems interesting, but I have a question. Do we continue into the new region? Or is once Kanto is done with those who took part in this region are done as well?

when we start a new region you can start a new character or carry the old one over. You likely won't be reaching a final evolution in this region unless you pick something with only one evolution or no evolutions.

  • Reserve a spot for me please.

Rps where characters are pokemon always make me feel a bit weird, but I'll push through that so I can be experimented on by SRR. GO FUTURE! (Or whatever their slogan is...)

Also, can you be a little more specific about volunteers vs orphans skills, you've done a really good outline of each different types abilities, but I want to know exactly how far I can push the limits of either type of character.

Thanks aeturnum, this rp seems dank.

It'll basically be like a +1 to whichever stat you choose to have some history of being decent in. an intelligence boost will give you a +1 in sp attack, physical strength will give you more phys attack, being overweight will give you physical defense, being strong willed will give you additional special defense, being faster will give you speed. So you can disguise that proficiency however you want, whether that just be "went to college for x" or just "was really good at crossword puzzles" is up to you. it basically equates to multiplying that stat by 1.5.

  • Did the orphans who were donated as children ever see the light of day before this story happens? How were they treated in captivity? Does it hurt to have your DNA modified?

With those questions, here is my SU glossing over those aspects of life.

    name: Dorian W.
    Gender: male
    Pokemon type: mareep
    Pokemon ability: static
    Attacks
    -full move pool

appearance : Dorian has curly yellow hair, which seems to glow and hum, as well as blue skin. Dorian also has a tail with a small orb at the end of it.

History : Dorian has only ever known the island of SRR that he was raised on, if his primary scientist hadn't told him a bit about his history Dorian would assume he was born on the island. His primary scientist also told him he has a fraternal twin somewhere in the facilities and that Dorian might even interact with his twin, but the scientist won't tell his if his twin is a boy or girl or even what Dorians last name is, just that his middle initial is "W." After years of searching and asking Dorian has shuffled the idea of finding his sibling to the back of his head and begun focusing on the real issue at hand, how to get out and experience the life he reads about in his books in the real world.

Personality: W. Is very knowledgable about DNA splicing, pokemon training, cooking, crafting, and many other things. And thanks to his helpful and friendly behavior with the scientists he has had the opportunity to dabble in many of his interests. The only thing he hasn't been able to do is leave the island, and he dreams about that every night.

Name: Eiji (I'm assuming those that were sold don't remember their last names)

    Age: 19

    Evolutionary line: Riolu – Lucario

    Ability: Justified

Appearance: Without the ability to hide her pocket monster attributes, Eiji is always sporting her pointed canine ears, her aura sensing dread locks behind her head, a short, dented tail, and small bone like fixtures on her hands. She stands at 5'6, a reasonable height for a female, with a slim but (being a fighting type) muscular build. What little hair she has is the same shade of blue as Riolu and Lucario's fur, and is very choppy and uneven, as if it is managed by sawing off the edges with a small knife when the hair gets too lengthy. Her eyes are slightly larger than the average human adult, which would give off the look of wide eyed innocence, if her irises were not a deep, unnatural shade of red.

Eiji chooses to resemble her Pokémon counterparts as much as possible, which prompts her to wear clothes matching the color pallet of Riolu and Lucario: blue, black, and yellow. She is typically seen wearing a high collar, faded yellow shirt with lined with black fringe, over a long sleeved blue shirt, which matches her slightly oversized blue shorts. She also wears long grey stockings, in order to cover up any skin on her feet and legs. She is very much against wearing shoes; stating that they interfere with traction and slow her down.

Personality: Eiji feels it is best to come off as having no personality when interacting with scientists or someone she is unfamiliar with. In these situations she keeps her eyes narrow and distant, appearing bored or perhaps not all there. Similarly, her voice is very quiet and monotone; however, her true colors shine through when she is with others who were sold to the company, or choice volunteers.

Eiji has a motherly streak about her, being very protective and nurturing to those who are younger than she. Being a fighting type, she enjoys physical combat in all forms; whether it be a practice sparring match, or an all out battle. She was made to fight, not to think, leaving her strategic skills something to be desired. She will punch and kick at a wall for hours in order to break through, rather than try to find a way around said wall. This lack of common and strategical sense, along with a limited amount of knowledge based on the outside world, can make her easily confused when dealing with others.

    History:

Like most of the infants sold to the lab, Eiji has no memories of her birth mother, being taken away from her minutes after her birth. Throughout the years she has managed to collect bits and pieces of information; however. Her mother was one of the many Pokémon trainers that was never able to make it to the league, and was already struggling desperately for money when she became present. As the product of a random hookup, the woman did not know the man's last name, much less how to track him down and ask for help.

Eiji's mother was an acquaintance of one of Rocket's scientists. According to him, it wasn't until the week before her children were born that Eiji's mother signed her second child's life away. The only way the former trainer would have been able to afford to keep both children would be to sell her Pokémon, something she realized she simply could not do.

Knowing that her mother did not make the decision lightly provides Eiji with a small amount of comfort, as well as a softer view on her mother, and humans in general, than some of the other children are bond to have. This knowledge might also play a large part in Eiji's desire to appear even more like her Pokémon half, as it would seem Pokémon are more valued than humans.

While Eiji knows nothing of her sibling, she has a sneaking suspicion it is a male, due to her mother's request that her second born child be named Eiji, which is a male's name, she probably thought she was giving birth to two boys (or maybe she chose the name at random, no one knows the reason behind the request). Despite the confusion her name can cause, she is quite proud of it, and its meaning: Protector. Knowing the meaning of her name is in part what drove Eiji, even at a very young age, to train as much as she could—to become as strong as she could, in order to live up to her name.
Though what it is she is supposed to protect remains a mystery still.

  • Did the orphans who were donated as children ever see the light of day before this story happens? How were they treated in captivity? Does it hurt to have your DNA modified?

So far there's been three generations of trials. There was the first generation which are failed abominations that have been sent back out to live in the world with everyone else. Then there's the second generation, which are what we are playing as. Second generation are generally successful subjects. Then there's the third generation, which is made up of the children of orphaned second generation trials - but we won't be playing as the third generations.

Most children that are sent in for testing are recruited at birth so that the fused dna has the best chances of taking hold. There's been talk of injecting DNA into the mother during pregnancy, but most have decided that's just a step too far. In captivity it's not luxurious but it's also not really hell. The island that the lab is on has a sort of 'playground' for lack of a better term. Basically just a chunk of land, outside the lab's back door with a giant metal cage around it. It's usually used for testing the limits of the subjects' abilities.

And as far as the pain coming from having your DNA altered, it hurts more when you transform the first few times. Subjects are injected with the DNA and put into pods that help the DNA to progress through the body and take hold better. The needle at the beginning hurts, but then there's no real changes for a couple of weeks. After that the doctors put the patients through a series of harsh tests that bring them to the brink of death/exhaustion and force a change in the DNA based on what they listed on their application as being their strongest trait. The first transformation is extremely painful as depending on the DNA fused with you, your body takes on massive changes over the course of a few seconds. For orphans its more of a gradual change as they grow up, so there's no real pain for them.

    Name: Reiss
    Gender: male
    Age: 20
Evolutionary line: Ghastly | Haunter | Gengar
    Pokemon Ability: Levitate
    Attacks: n/a
Appearance in/out of combat: Reiss is certainly not what might come to mind when you think lab experiment: At a glance, the young man is quite normal, standing at 5'10" and entirely human-shaped. Though he is slim, bordering on skinny, there is no indication of ill treatment or malnourishment, and the casual manner with which he drapes himself against walls, over tables, and so on speak more of an affectation of laziness than of neglect or suffering.

Then you look closer. And then you realize that there is something very strange about him: The violet sheen to the dark, messy hair that refuses to lie flat, and curls upward into smokey wisps; the hollow black eyes; the sharp canines that flash with every charming smile. The way he levitates, hovering an inch off the ground at all times, and higher when he wants to.

He dresses in a way that is startlingly casual; the cliche white T-shirt and dark jeans are an often-worn combo, and if he has a particular fondness for darker colors, well, surely that has nothing to do with his Pokemon side.

Personality: A charming front with a manipulative edge.

Reiss is the epitome of enthusiasm and engagement; he's grinned and flirted and chatted his way into the heart of as many researchers as he's met, comforted his fellow subjects when they're feeling down, and sweet-talked to the staff of the facilities. Perhaps it helps that he looks rather unthreatening--certainly he's got an air of demure appeasement, openness, and friendliness. Nonjudgmental and helpful, Reiss tries to be the shoulder to cry on and the voice of reason whenever there is need, no matter the person.

Thing is, he's got a very careful memory for what he overhears or is told. Very little slips away from him, and while he's not crude enough to do it to everyone, he's certainly willing to let drop tidbits of information or gossip, or to gently nudge someone in a certain direction, if it benefits him in the long run. Small things, mostly--an extra portion of food for dinner, a particular book to pass the time--but, well, he's willing to go further.

History: Reiss was given to the SRR as an infant. He has no memory of his arrival, his birth family, or the early-life experimentation he underwent, and is largely disinterested reconnecting with or identifying his family. The SRR is all he's known of life, and though he's certainly curious about what a 'normal' life is, Reiss is not so unhappy with his own that he'll go to stupid lengths to find out. He might not enjoy all of the experiments or their effects, but feels that it is, at least, a constant.

"Why not take a break and chill for a bit...?"

    Naomi / 17 Years Old / Female
    sneasel_gijinka___suri_by_suika_x-d5wm64l_zpsfvvbnuln.png

    Evolutionary Line

    Sneasel - Weavile

    Ability

    Keen Eye

    Attacks

Quick Attack / Icy Wind / Hone Claws / Metal Claw / Ice Beam (TM) / Feint Attack / Agility / Slash / Night Slash

    Appearance

Sporting a somewhat pale skin complexion, Naomi stands at a height of about 5'5". She sports a rather slender body build, combined with light muscle tone from having somewhat athletic tendencies. Naomi shares several traits with that of her Pokémon counterpart. In particular, she bares the same crimson-red eyes and pointed ears. For her ears, this includes both the cat-like one and the ear that resembles a long, slender, red feather. Naomi's hair color takes on that of a Sneasel's skin tone. It has even gone as far as for the tufts in the middle of her hair to turn into a bright yellow, resembling the jewel-like crest on their forehead. Naomi wears her hair quite long, as it easily descends down to her backside. To complete her resemblance to the Sneasel race, Naomi sports the feather-like tails which protrude out her backside. Because she is an orphan and was donated to the cause, Naomi is unable to hide her Pokémon-like characteristics.

In terms of clothing, Naomi dresses in a rather loose and casual style. She usually wears things such as sneakers and skirts, combined with tank tops and somewhat baggy shirts. It should be noted that she tends to dress in the same colors that one would normally see a Sneasel in as well. No matter what Naomi chooses to wear, there are always some constants in her attire. These include a pair of black, fingerless gloves, a studded, red, leather choker around her neck, and oddly enough, an amulet coin around her neck. Naomi also sports two piercings in her left ear.

    Personality

To say that Naomi is a balanced and well-reasoned individual would be a lie. To say that she is incredibly rash, violent, and has downright unstable tendencies would also be a lie. Truth be told, it is both. Naomi is a downright twisted girl, suffering from multiple personalities. At times, she can sport a quick wit. She will be with a smile on her face and a joke on her tongue, always ready to look at the brighter side of things. Then, just as soon as that mood as appeared, she will snap, turning into a literal monster. Gone will be the caring, pun-spitting Naomi, being replaced with a bloodthirsty and irrational girl who seems to take thrill from combat, as if hurting those around her brings out a sense of great excitement and joy. Because of this, Naomi can be quite an unpredictable handful. It seems that the shift in her personality can occur at random, at times spending days in one personality before shifting over towards the other.

    History

Like most other orphans, Naomi was sold to the facility when she was just an infant. Also like most other orphans there, Naomi has no knowledge of who her parents were, where she was born, or if she had any siblings. The only reason she knows her name to be Naomi is due to her name being inscribed on the Amulet Coin she wears on her neck, the girl assuming it to be some sort of parting gift from her parents before they left her behind.

It is unknown if Naomi was born with her mental disorder or if she acquired it during the experiments. However, those two personalities that constantly fight for dominance inside of her have very different outlooks and desires in life. The side that many would probably deem "good" Naomi grew up with a somewhat healthy outlook on life. This portion of her personalities was known to try and get along with most of the facility staff and her fellow orphans and volunteers. She even seems understanding of her parents' decision for the most part, possibly even respecting them for giving her a chance at a better life than dying on the streets, even if it meant living most of her life as some sort of test subject.

Naomi's other half is another story. When her "bad" personality kicked in, she was known to become quite violent and belligerent to those around her. When this personality would take hold, Naomi's understanding of her lot in life changed quite drastically, often wishing death and harm to the facility workers. This half of Naomi often wished for nothing more than to break out of the facility and hunt her parents down, making them and all the others pay for the way they surely sold off their children so they could life fat and happy, while they became literal animals in some sort of freakish zoo.

Because of her erratic personalities, Naomi grew up within the facility being treated with a different care. Many of the workers which oversaw her growth and development often used drugs and sedation to keep the Senasel-girl under tight control. This did little to appease the angry-side of her personality, causing those feelings of hate to grow even stronger. Despite their efforts to keep the girl under control, she would continue to grow up in a state of emotional torture, both sides constantly fighting for control.

I'll fill the rest in tomorrow, I just wanted to get the ball rolling on this SU!

Name: Dominick, but he prefers to go by Dom

    Gender: Male

Evolutionary line: Ralts, Kirlia & Gardevior

Natural talent/Pokemon Ability: Synchronize with his opponents.

Attacks: Double Team, Teleport, Psychic, Future Sight, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Imprison.

Appearance in/out of combat: Dom, standing around 5'9, never felt short even though most of the men in his family were over 6'1. He has brown hair with a few natural golden highlights from all his time working in the sun. His hair has mostly grown out to hit his shoulders and is naturally wavy, especially in summer heat. He has a tan complexion and used to have decent muscles, but has gotten smaller over the years as it has been harder for his family to pay for big meals.

When he's combined with Ralts, his tan skin takes on a more pale white color leading those around him to fear he's going to fall ill. He also grows the two red plates on top of Ralt's head.

Personality:"The troublesome C's" his grandma used to say whenever she'd visit. "He's confident, curious and clumsy. You better keep a careful eye on him, he's going to be a handful!" And a handful he was. Dom loved to explore, never quite thinking about his safety first if something interested him enough. He would climb the tallest tree at the park if it meant catching a glimpse of a Butterfree hatching from it's Metapod shell. Or he would boldly jump across rocks in a river to impress the cute girls in class. He may have been clumsy, but it never stopped him from doing whatever it was he wanted to do. He was confident enough to believe he could take on any challenge he approached. It was this zest that allowed him to willingly volunteer for a corporation that terrified most people. He really did think he could handle it.

History: Dom grew up in a fairly well off family in Celadon city. Both his mother and father were born to wealthy families and were lucky enough to inherit a sizeable sum of money when the hard times hit. So for a good amount of his childhood, Dom was mostly ignorant to the fact that there was even a problem. Since Celadon had long been a city where the rich resided, it wasn't until a decade into the economic troubles that anyone began to show signs of running out of money. Dom's mom began making up stories to cease his endless questions about why their long time neighbors had suddenly moved and why there were so few kids in the area anymore. She would tell him that they were off visiting relatives in Saffron or Viridian city.

It wasn't until he was a teenager that Dom finally realized what was going on. His parents were coming close to using up their savings after putting him through school and it was hard to hide the situation any longer. Most nights his Dad would have less of a meal than he or his mother, and that eventually turned into him not eating at all some nights. Dom was sent out to do manual labor for his neighbors who still had money, mostly elderly folk who didn't have younger dependents. They took pity on seeing a respectable family go hungry and they did what they could to help Dom put a little extra cash in his pocket. It was enough to help them along for a little while after Dom's high school graduation. Then it wasn't. Dom's mom got sick and they couldn't afford to take care of him and pay for her medication. Both parents began to waste away from the lack of food and that's when Dom made the decision to volunteer. His parents would quite literally die before asking him to do it, so he made the decision himself. His parents sobbed and apologized profusely, but they did not fight him on it.

    - Name: Bishop
    - Gender: Male
    - Age:
    20
    - Evolutionary line: Cleffa
    - Pokemon Ability: Friend Guard
    - Attacks: Magical Leaf, Copycat, Pound, Sweet Kiss, Sing, Encore, Echoed Voice
    - Appearance in/out of combat: Permanently left with large, brown, and conical ears much like his Pokemon counterpart, along with a head of curly pink hair. He also possesses a curly, pink tail that he prefers to hide. Outside of combat he prefers to hide his ears in his jacket hood, but tends to have them stick out somewhat.

As far as clothing, he never has shown much preference for style, rather than his baseball cap and pink hoodie, wearing them as often as he can.

    - Personality: Years of underachieving have left him somewhat jaded, seeing other peers pass him in ability. This, combined with his short stature, lead to a bit of a complex about his competence and occasional lashing out. Despite this, he does possess a large amount of loyalty towards those he considers friends, putting him at risk of overreacting and consequently putting himself in danger responding to any perceived threats to his friends. His manner of speaking and way of thinking are blunt, often not perceiving subtleties correctly, which has also lead to several confrontations of his. He has a certain detesting of scientists, who are often the target of his lashing out.

Strangely enough, although his aptitude for combat is lacking, he can be considered a success of the program in other ways. He tends to think of himself as both human and Cleffa, although primarily human. This mindset has lead to himself considering both humans and Cleffa as his kind, rather than being a human with Cleffa characteristics.

    - History: One of the twins who eventually became property of RSS, he was acquired by the company at a young age. Originally born as Jackson, he began to prefer his middle name during his teens during the height of his jadedness, reminding him more of the outside world. Initially eager to please, and taking well to his modifications, as he grew up and watched many of the other subjects out pace him he quickly became discouraged. Eventually, as the conflicts between him and the researchers escalated, his love of RSS faded to the point where he became outspoken about wanting to leave the company's control and try to live a life outside.

  • For orphans its more of a gradual change as they grow up, so there's no real pain for them.

So it's like puberty for the orphans?

What do the kids wear on the island? I don't imagine they have a botique on it. :p

Kinda yeah. They gradually grow into the Pokemon they're fused with and then they just hit a little puberty and become more like the Pokemon in appearance. Like instead of growing hair they grow fur or scales or whatever else. For the most part the orphans clothes are based on the Pokemon that they're fused with, as there's a natural inclination towards that appearance. But for volunteers it's just whatever they bring with them from the outside or the ttpical white gown that you get in hospitals and such.
