It's often said that a short nap each day is healthy, but often overdoing it leaves you in a worse state then when you started.
So PC, do you nap?, do you think its beneficial?

The clips are all loaded,
now what shall you do?

I take a nap almost everyday, usually between 1 to 2 hours. Even when I was working I would usually take a nap too when I got home for like an hour. I find it helps me get through the day much easier and it's just pleasant. Sometimes I drink a little coffee before napping and when I wake up I am fully recharged.

I don't nap, because I don't really need to. I get enough sleep at night so that I don't need to spend any time napping. I never felt comfortable napping anyway, even when I was younger - I didn't want to sleep at night, it threw my appetite off, and I generally felt horrible when I woke up.

I don't know if it's beneficial or not. If you're tired and you need to sleep then it probably is, I guess? I can see how it might benefit some people. For me it's extremely unhelpful, though.

I usually nap after school on weekdays, but it's just because of the fact that I never get enough sleep at night. Most of the time my naps leave me feeling sick and parched, so it's not really pleasant :|

I'd totally nap, but I'd probably miss some classes, a few bus stops, a shift or two, and once I fall asleep, good luck waking me up...
I fall asleep on the train and bus whenever I ride them. For some reason being in them just makes me completely drowsy and I can never stay awake. It's so odd how it happens even if I am completely awake it doesn't matter at all. Then when I get off I'm back awake just like before I got on. Somehow I've never missed a stop in my life. I would always wake up a few times and then wake up before my stop or right on it.

I don't. The reason I think is because of strict routine. I have fallen asleep laying on my bed or sitting a chair before. So, I guess that counts as 'napping' for me. :P Another reason is because I have a poor sleep schedule as it is. If I nap during the day, I would most likely make that worse. >< Last, but not least, is my medications. I take a stimulant that often keeps me more alert and aware as well.

Not any more, I used too but it just messed up my sleeping pattern and thats no good when I have to get up at 6.30 am.

I remember reading somewhere that 20 mins was the optimum napping time, I dont even know how you'd manage to time that unless you fall asleep instantly.

I nap if I need to. Which usually means if I don't happen to get enough sleep the night before.

...Which occurs a lot more than I'd like to admit. :T
I took a 12 hour nap yesterday
I applaud you.

I have not napped in quite a while myself actually. I used to take naps frequently but they messed up my sleeping schedule so badly where it was affecting my ability to function in class so I had to cut them out. I now have a very steady sleep schedule because of it and feel much healthier in all aspect of my life. There are still days where I am exhausted and feel like I could use a good siesta but I try to avoid taking one.

Even when I have a good amount hours of sleep, sometimes I would still nap in the afternoon. Usually it's either I had been doing something for a long time (writing/marathon tv or movie watching/video gaming/taking care of something else) and then I'm exhausted. My naps tend to last from half an hour to an hour).

I nap when I can. I have these bursts of time where I can sleep fine and then I can't sleep a freaking wink and then I am always dead tired. Thank God right now I'm in a sleeping fine trend.

Normally, not really. These days I've not been able to get enough nutrition into my body so I drift in and out of consciousness all day after a night of typical lack of sleep.

I liked to nap when I was studying in school it wasn't short and in fact really good for me :) But now I don't do this because I'm usually so busy and tired with studying at university & work that I'll feel even worse after it if I sleep till the day. Besides I can't nap shortly in such cases at all {XD}

I always want to nap but I never have any time to because of all my obligations. Once every blue moon though I get the chance to and it is glorious even if what was supposed to be a 30-60 minute nap typically turns into a 3 hour nap, it is still amazing XD
