Some practice I did on glossy surfaces, the feature of which is the erstwhile Pokeball. 12 colors, not counting background.

More practice on reflective orbs. These are supposed to be alternate Ender Pearl and Eye of Ender textures for my Minecraft resource pack. I'm very happy with the Ender Pearl, but the Eye of Ender looks off to me somewhat... I will have to go over it again later.

Kirby, no. That's not a Copy Ability, that's a TriHard. You spit that Entei out right now... Anyway, this is a quick sprite edit of Kirby's Animal Copy Ability from Kirby Squeak Squad. I noticed how fuzzy and furry it looked, and I figured, well, Entei is a fuzzy, furry Pokemon that looks suspiciously doge-like...

A quick and dirty animation of Fatman X. Jones, my namesake character, performing a three-punch 'Vulcan Jab' attack. I'm happy with the animation of the punch effects, but I need to go back over his body sprites.

OSU! A try at a custom trainer type for Gen III hacks, the Ouendan trainer takes the field with loud, boisterous sound-move-using Pokemon, as well as Pokemon with Helping Hand and other double-battle support moves. It should be very obvious where this trainer gets his inspiration from.

A snippet from Fatman's spritesheet of one of his attacks, 'Scarlet Overdrive'. The character, move-wise, is a shout-out to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure protagonists Jonathan and Joseph Joestar in inspiration, as Fatman uses solar-powered 'Hamon' techniques in battle. 'Scarlet Overdrive' is essentially a Shin Shoryuken in all but name. The style used for Fatman is mostly customized Kunio-Kun/River City Ransom-style.

A sprite version of
ManiacalMew's Mega Emboar concept. He looks so bulky, so beefy, so... Ganondorf-y, I couldn't say no. Original concept is, of course, theirs.

A sprite of the new Water-type starter revealed today, Popplio, done in DS-style. I'm not sure whether or not I should proceed with a backsprite and a shiny palette for it.
