...a VPN/proxy ban?

http://cordcutting.com/65-of-netflixs-subscribers-disapprove-of-its-vpn-ban/

Seems like Netflix has gotten tired of users using proxies and VPNs to stream from libraries not native to the user's country of viewing. While I can see international users being upset by this, I'd imagine that it's caused a worldwide upset as well.

As for VPN usage, I wouldn't use a VPN to view foreign streams, but rather for the sake of protection of identity, and many webmasters (and services, like Netflix) don't realize that.

So what do y'all think on this?

I'll be honest in saying that Netflix, even in the US, has a dwindling library. However, to pain its users overseas by not allowing them to see what's in our library of shows is asinine. I mean for Pete's sake, we have Doctor Who over here, which originates from the UK. Not only that, but several other BBC titles as well.
