What do you usually do when you pull all nighters? How often do you stay up late/all night long? Does it ever put an effect on you when you realized you haven't slept?

I usually just play Pokemon or write or something. It depends on my mood. I don't stay up late or pull all-nighters very often. If I do, it will trigger my anxiety greatly by the end of the day. It also makes it more difficult for me to be productive if I haven't slept. ><

What about you guys? :3
All nighters used to be the norm for me. Until about 3 months ago I was suffering from insomnia and would often times stay up late watching Netflix without realizing that it was time to be up for the next day. I changed my diet and cut out most sugars, caffeine, and stopped eating snacks before bedtime and have been able to sleep much more soundly. I can't even remember the last time I stayed up past 1 am D:

I only purposely do an all-nighter as a last ditch effort to get my sleep schedule back on track...which hasn't been for a long time. My boyfriend seems to do them regularly though, which is a bit concerning.

I don't do them much anymore. When I was younger I could so easily but now I need a bunch of drinks to keep me up. Only way I can stay up all night now is if I woke up really late. If I do do it it's usually me watching anime, playing a game or trying to do speedrun routing.

When I read the topic title I thought this was gonna be a sleepover type thing on PC where we all try and to stay up and talk.

I have a bit of an insomnia problem that's gotten much better over the years, but it still tends to be a problem on occasion. When I'm stressed out or have a lot weighing on my mind, in particular, I get really restless and can't sleep at night. When that happens, I do one of two things depending on the circumstance: do something to keep myself occupied until I fall asleep, or do something soothing/monotonous in hopes that it'll eventually lull to sleep.

When I pull all-nighters I usually spend my time wishing I was asleep.

I don't think I've ever pulled a legitimate all-nighter. I've always either taken a nap from like 6-11 to compensate staying up through dawn or just sleep through the morning after staying up to an ungodly hour.

But I try to avoid them, in any case. When my body is stressed I get nasty migraines, so I'm afraid how it would react to sleep deprivation.

I've pulled all nighters before! Usually because my sleep schedule is reversed ;_; It is now but I don't really need to do anything so it's fine as it is.

The clips are all loaded,
now what shall you do?

No intentional all-nighters for me. It'd royally screw me over the next day, as I wouldn't be able to sleep: I live in a very noisy house and neighbourhood. I don't even stay up past half-ten very often, and if I do there are typically people floating about to tell me to go to bed because, and I quote, "If you stay up too late you'll be in a mood the next day, and I'll have to deal with you, because you always contact me when you're in a mood!" even though I do no such thing.

I think my last all-nighter was three or so years ago when I was so full of cold I couldn't lie down without feeling like I was suffocating, so I had to spend the night in a sitting position...pretty sure I dropped off though. If I'm awake when I shouldn't be I typically spend the time trying to sleep.

Writing's got a terrible way of keeping me up until the wee hours, especially if I'm by myself. Now if the stuff I came up with at 3am was any good, I wouldn't mind, but usually it isn't. *sweats*

Good old caffeine keeps me awake, though. And why I'd deny myself sleep in the first place is either due to me binge watching something or watching a WWE PPV, lol.

In order to stay up all night, i drink a lot of ice'd coffee. I recently found this brand of coffee and it really hits the spot.

Combine that and some Borderlands, Doom, Pokemon, and whatever games there is in my Steam Library and 3DS.

Heck, just thinking about it.. I'm going to the store to buy some right now. I need to stay up all night in order to review and prepare for our thesis presentation tomorrow, and I've gotten a lot of good afternoon naps, so I can afford an all nighter tonight.

Lack of sleep can be a lil dangerous for me since I'm the kind of person who can get easily upset and tilted if I wake up in the wrong side of the bed.

And after we finish up our thesis defense, I'll be pulling even more Allnighters since the new DOOM game just came out, and I was fortunate enough to get my own copy since i had to go Knee deep in salty customers to get my last copy from the store's branch.

As far as pulling all nighters go, they usually involve something like me reviewing super hard for an important academic requirement or me wanting to play a game all night after I've done my night's worth of exercise.

I pull all-nighters often and I usually do the same stuff that I do when it is day time as I do when I pull an all-nighter; listen to music, play some games, watch some shows or YT vids, and chat with some of my friends on Skype. The only exception are Saturday nights and the only thing different that happens on those nights for me is that I call my bestie and talk to her for a few hours.

I haven't pulled an all-nighter in... years, I think. Have no reason to, really. At this point the absolute latest I could stay up is maybe 3AM. That's only if I don't have to work the next day.

When I did stay up all night, it wasn't for school. I was goofing off on the computer and it was interesting enough to stay up all night. Sometimes it was PC/other websites, sometimes it was writing, sometimes it was chatting. It was always a night where I had nothing to do the next day so I could afford to screw up my sleep schedule.

Staying up late doesn't affect my mood unless I don't get enough sleep. If I don't, I'm only a little cranky.
