Which wrestlers do I like?

Well, before he left WWE, I liked Zach Gowen for his valor.

John Cena is an awesome wrestler; "If you want some, COME GET SOME!"

I liked Bradshaw when he was partners with Farooq. Now he's a heel... >.<

Paul London is so full of energy, you have no choice but to like him! ^_^; Same thing with Funaki.

Theodore Long isn't a wrestler, but I like him for his role in WWE; in my opinion, he's one of, if not THE, best Smackdown! general managers ever.

Joy Giovanni, Torrie Wilson, Christy Hemme, and Lita are my favorite divas. *drools*

My favorite legendary wrestler is, of course, the immortal, Hulk Hogan!

That about sums up my list!

World Wrestling Entertainment is saddened by the passing of Chris Candido.

Chris appeared in WWE as Skip of the Bodydonnas in the mid 1990s. He also competed for ECW and WCW, and held both the WWE and ECW World Tag Team titles and the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. He was an amazing athlete and a gifted performer, and we offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

What is messed up is,last sunday,at TNA Lockdown, he JUST broke his knee, good thing his Team won the tag titles. R.I.P Chris Candido, you will be missed.

First of all, moment of silence for Chris Candido. He will be missed.

Again,Jeff Hardy is NOTHING but a spot fest wrestler who did drugs, and is probaly gay, also, even YOU know that Matt was the better one.
Yeah, and Vince once again declared himself as the King of Stupidity by firing Matt. He should have moved one of them to Smackdown at the least, but of course he makes the most unpopular decision that he can.

And of course, TNA scoops Matt up right away.

Here's HTM's article about it, edited for content.

(Quoted from 'thehonkytonkman.com' 4/11/2005):

Fans, the Matt/Edge/Lita story has reared up anew, and again in a completely disgusting way.

In a move described as totally misplaced at best and sheer idiocy at worst, WW"e" resident genius, Vince McMahon, nailed his ---- to the floor this time. Universally the fans understand that this is not a work or more buffonery from WW"e" writers; this is real and very, very ------. In sum, the fans are highly irritated at the WW"e" for pulling such horse----.

Judge for yourselves.

"As for any concerns that the WWE had about Matt and Edge running into one another, how was that Matt's issue at all? They could have moved one of them to Smackdown. Edge isn't such a big draw that he can command what the WWE does. It's just more bull---- that will end up angering the fans. I hope that Lita and Edge are ready for this."

And anger the fans, it did. Check this one out!

(Quoted from HTM's forums):

"Well, somebody got fired, but it was Matt hardy. The reason given? He put his personal life on the 'net and it caused the WWE to look bad. Christ - the only innocent person (and actually the only decent worker) of the three gets stabbed in the back by one of his best friends, betrayed by his woman and HE'S the one to get fired. God----ed - Vince and his croneys have lost all sense of reason; of course this just shows Vince's character (or lack of it): Screw around, stab each other in the back, just don't let the Internet fans know about it. Forget it VinnyMac, you destroyed kayfabe; you can't expect everybody else to follow it. Vince has kissed this viewer goodbye......"

I actually think that everyone needs to read the articles on HTM's site. It'll give you a whole new perspective on the WWE.

Matt and Jeff are two of my favorites.

But my favorite overall is HHH. I know he's a villain, but anyone that can pull an entrance like he did at Wrestlemania (the whole Motorhead thing and him rising out from under the stage), definitely deserves credit. Not to mention the guy tore the muscle in his lower leg (it was actually torn; you could see it even on TV). And he still finished the match, kept the show going, and with a Pedigree, the move that requires the full use of BOTH of his legs! That takes guts!

Yeah. Batista won the title. But HHH is still my favorite one.

Of course Mark won his match against Orton. (Seeing that he has that clause in his contract.)

If I had a top 5 list, it would be:

HHH
Mark (Undertaker)
Mick Foley (He wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but his gimmick was fun to see.)
Matt Hardy
Hulk Hogan (I think his real name is Terry, or something close to that.)

Unfortunately, Matt got royally screwed getting fired the way he did.

Also, Mick was stupid, because he used his real name in the WWE. But I still like him, due to his gimmick.

For those who think Wrestling are real,DO NOT READ THIS

Face:Good Guy.
Heel:Bad Guy.
Jobber:Someone who ALWAYS loses, sometimes those "no-named" people on Heat.
Marks: People who cheer for that one superstar,no matter what.
Wrestlers arn't really hurt, the blood is NOT some little packet or whatever, they Blade. Blading is where they use a small sharp razor to cut their forheads to bleed,if they cut a nerve, they could end up looking like Eddie from Judgement Day 04.
Thank you for joining Wrestling realism 101,btw, Wrestling pwns,I don't care what they say,and for the record, RAW pwns SD!.

Only reason I'm in wrestling is because of the backstage gossip I listen to on Get in the Ring radio since it keeps me interested, and it finally paid off at this years past Wrestlemania when Shawn Michaels took on Kurt Angle. Now I've seen over 1,000's of matches since I was a toddler from Flair vs. Steamboat in the NWA days right up to last weeks Smackdown where Rey Jr. took on Chavo Guerrero. But that Angle/Michaels match was the 2nd greatest match I've ever seen, made up for the two awful matches that were in the main event Cena/JBL n' HHH/Batista.

Anyway my top 5 favorite WWE wrestlers today, not including wrestlers from NWA/TNA.)
1) Kurt Angle
2) Chris Beniot
3) Edge (Despite the problems between him and Matt Hardy, although I do feel sorry for Matt.)
4) Shawn Michaels
5) Carlito "Cool"/Christian

I can't decide on my all time list but my childhood idol was Bret Hart and despite his stroke and him not wrestling anymore, he'll always be my fav. There are few others but for some reason all my fav's pass away aside from Bret (Example: Davey Boy, Curt Henning and Owen Hart who I originally liked as my fav as a kid before Bret since I liked the Blue Blazer even though he lost every match.)

I know WWE isn't real, but it's still worth watching. I am a fan of WWE, but I also know that WWE is fake, so I just watch it because it's fun to watch. If you think about it, they're really actors who star on a bunch of two-hour shows that comes on UPN and Spike TV at regular times. To me (and most people who post here, I suppose), collecting WWE merchandise and watching the shows is about as hobbyist as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.

This is clarifying my opinions and and more than likely those of others.

People call it fake, yet everyone seems to think wrestlers are super heroes. They "do" get injured and often for that matter, just it is so covered up by storyline from the writers that people seem to get the idea the person is fine despite never experiencing it for themselves. It is "scripted" it's an art they have ways of preventing injury, but none the less accidents have happened countless times (the worst being Owen Hart's death). But when ECW, Mick Foley or Terry Funk exist on television at all, I find it hard to believe people think it is still "all" fake, lol. I mean I honestly think they like pain.

I am only saying that because not all wrestlers get the same paychecks as WWE wrestlers do and they take the same bumps sometimes even more on the independent circuit. :)

My #1 favorite tag team is definately The Hardy Boyz. They rocked.

My #1 favorite wrestler is the great Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Next would have to be The Undertaker from back in the day. The one from before he became that American Badass crap. The true Undertaker...

Exactly,We both know ALL about the Wrestling world's little "words",don't we? ;) Another injury I can remember, and still have this on my computer,is when Chris Benoit broke Sabu's neck, also when Chris Candido(R.I.P) broke his leg at a TNA PPV.

Um....that was outlawed......awhile back....^^;
Besides, I've met HBK in person and he said wrestling is 99% real. Storylines are fake(sometimes, remember Hogan McMhan(SP)), pain is real, bloodshed is NOT used by blades, and punches are not at full power...

Anyways....
