The Voidlands can be tricky. Because you have the extra teammates, Reviver Seeds can seriously go to waste. :(
When it comes to the Cave of the Deep, there are several things you should look out for:
• Firstly, there a plenty of
Ditto masquerading as items, so be wary when approaching them (especially wands, I find). When they transform, you or your partner will get the confused status, depending on who the Ditto turns into. This can be costly in terms of Reviver Seeds.
• Most of the wild Pokemon there are
Psychic-type and can confuse/hypnotise you. Keep an eye out for
green emeras and if you find a Confusion Guard, set it! However, if you find something like Burn Guard, "use" it instead because it will
add to your maximum HP, which can be lifesaving!
• Watch out for
Jynx! I believe they have
Perish Song, which will wipe you OUT! I hope you have status-healing items, or a move like Refresh, because otherwise Perish Song can be devastating.
• Besides Jynx, avoid
Bouffalant and
Porygon2 at all costs! Porygon2 have Zap Cannon, which is long-ranged and extremely powerful, especially after they change their type with Conversion. Bouffalant are tough to defeat and their attack is massive, so watch out!
• Do you have
Looplets? I sure hope so. Since you can't withdraw items from storage here (at least to my knowledge) it is
vital to make use of emeras in these dungeons! Especially ones like Trap Proof, Barrage, Distant Dodge etc. Considering this, walk over the colourful crystal fragments on the floor because enough of them will form emeras.
• Gather some
Grimy Food, because if you're low on apples and are hungry, you can eat it in emergencies.
Only eat it when you are nearby a staircase for a quick getaway, because Grimy Food has bad side effects!
• Take advantage of any items you can get, especially
wands and
orbs. If you encounter any really tough wild Pokemon, hopefully you'll have Warp, Stayaway, Paralyse, Petrify or Confuse Wands to keep them away from you. If you're lucky, you will find Tiny Reviver Seeds as well.
• Lastly, take advantage of using your
Alliance whenever there's a tough enemy!
My pokemon are Squirtle (Main) and Fennekin (Partner). Squirtle is in mid 20's and Fennekin is 2 levels below wherever Squirtle is.
What are your movesets? What strategies have you been trying so far?
