    This is a simple thread.

This is a place for you to recommend games you enjoy for others who may be looking for something to play.

    Rules
-Please do not ask for game recommendations.

-Please do not post your opinion on other people's games here. Check out the sister thread for that!

-Please try and keep your posts to a couple paragraphs. We're looking for your opinion on why you like the game not a full journalistic review!

Basically just pick a game you like and write a brief opinion on why you like it!

This thread has a sister:What's your opinion of the above game? If you want to give your opinion on someone else's game, you should check it out!!!

I'll start this off! (please note you're more than welcome to make your opinion long than mine, but try and not make it too long)

Far-Cry 2 is easily my favorite in the series. It's dark, and gritty, and you don't play your innocent just out of college loser like the newer games. You're a merc, preforming morally questionable contracts to survive and complete your ultimate goal. There are no good guys in this game. Not only that, the gameplay is also gritty. Your weapon will wear and jam with too much use, you have to preform graphic field first aid to keep alive, and the enemy is more than happy to relentlessly chase and gun you down.

Unlike Far-Cry 3 and 4, Far-Cry 2 is a decent into true, realistic madness, and makes it's sequels feel (and look) flat.

Ah, but farcry 3 brought about Farcry Blood Dragon, and thus the Cyber-Panther was born. I enjoyed Farcry 2 but absolutely hated the managing of malaria. I mean, come on, even anthrax vaccines are one and done. Other than that I enjoyed the random IEDs that were utilised and the failing and junked weapons that were missing in the sequels, as well as the somewhat watered down construction set, but I digress.

Ah, speaking of decent sized into maddness...

    "I don't know you. I don't like you"
    "Are you lost? Poor dear."
"You enjoy hurting others, don't you?"

I recommend Hotline Miami. A blazingly fast paced, neon soaked blood bath of a game, a groovy soundtrack, a difficult learning curve, and a Unicorn mask.

What more could you ask for? A head trip? A janitor? Russians? A biker? More blood? It has that too. Also a cricket with a drill. I don't want to give too much away, but take a look at it.

And don't worry about payment. You're my friend. Your money's no good here...

It's ugly af these days, but it was so much fun to play. The first space sim/bounty hunter game I played and it was so beautiful and gave me such amazing feels when I traveled between planets and star systems to trade, hunt criminals and buy new ships and stuff. Not to mention the big space battles in the story - they were so frickin fun ashdkff. Simple enough, fun enough, atmospheric enough. The bad sides of the game are that 1) it can be ugly at times tbh. 2) it's not a rpg! You always play as the one main char. 3) the story is a bit too short and the game is not quite exciting or big enough to keep playing for a long time afterwards.

    It's still <3

I'm playing through Danganronpa 2 at the moment, but the first game is a fantastic mystery visual novel to start with! It has mysteries and puzzles in a similar style to the Ace Attorney series, and has just enough mix of dark and light humor to make me laugh endlessly. It's also available on Steam now! So it's no longer super limited by only officially being in English on the Playstation Vita. Give it (and the sequel) a try if you get the chance! They're both fantastic.

    Freedom Fighters
This game is one of best games of those times even now. The game requires much minimum requirements. Here is the story of attaining freedom from soviets with team mates. It's a must play game in windows.
