I just wanted to know, are there any other 3-D MAJOR Mario (Super Mario Bro's) out there besides "64" and "Sunshine". Like other Adventure games and RPGs. Not little ones like Mario Party and Cart, etc.?

Well, there's Paper Mario (on the N64) and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Gamecube), but neither of them are actually in 3D (some cities and dungeons are in 3D in TTYD, but basically that's it).

Honestly, there are more spin-off Mario games than "real" Mario games. =x

How is Paper Mario not 3D? Sure, the characters are made to look 2D, but everything is still technically 3D, including all of the environments. It's stylistic 3D, not 2D.
Like I said, most of the environments are 3D, but the characters aren't.

I am still hopeful Nintendo will still release some information about the Mario game they showed at E3 when they introduced the Gamecube.

Both, Paper Mario and TTYD are 3D games. The graphics don't look it, yes, but they are. You move through 3D enviroments, it's a three dimension game, but with a flat look. Between the two, I prefer the original.

Generally speaking, the Mario series is like a testing ground. New ideas are constantly used on it. Which is why it has so many spinoff and gimick games.

There is Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the GBA. That has rendered graphics like Super Mario RPG or Donkey Kong Country. It looks 3D, but it's just sprites. And, it's not a gimick or spinoff. But a long related sequel to the original game that all these other Mario (and Donkey) games and series are based on.

I would also suggest Superstar Saga, since you mentioned RPGs.

Keep your eyes opened for Super Mario 128 (will mostly have a different name)
