Hey guys Can anyone tell me how to edit the habitat for pokemons!
I used the PGE tool for expansion of pokemons and do every other single thing,
I also wanted to edit the habitat... so i went to habitat editor of PGE and then started editing the pages for habitats then finally when I expanded the pages for all the habitats it showed some error and then the editor crashed.....
is there some need of repointing then pls tell me!!
.
.
.
or if there is another way of doing it then also pls tell me!

EDIT: I found it!
I studied the habitat table in detail and got total information about it :)
Its a lengthy task but worth it :) ;)

G3HS has a habitat editor page, but I have not tested it so cannot tell if it lets you add new pages/habitats. It's a good tool though, so I would use this.

In that case the problem with your PGE might be due to the expanded number of Pokemon. You might need to edit the ini file to state the amount of Pokemon you now have.

If I was you though, if you haven't done much work aside from Pokemon, use the Artificial Red ROM base as all the Pokemon are on there in their respective pages, as well as MRDS' Decap and Attack base, plus a few other features like mega-evolution. It's a really good base and I was using it for a while myself until I decided to just go with the original 386 Pokemon slots.

If you do use AR, I would recommend using D&D to edit the Pokemon. It was the easier and less buggiest way I found. You have to use the .ini-s that is provided in one of the downloads (page two, I think).

Thanks for the advice, but I have decided to go with a rom of my own (not using any bases) so that I can learn more about hacking... by the way I have added many minor bug fixes and features!!
Reporting them to that base will take the patience out of me, as I made it work after a lot of trial and error ;)
Still for the habitat thing, my final choice would be talking with the creator of artificial red rom base about it!

That's a good idea. It is better to try and do things yourself as you learn more, and you get a better sense of accomplishment at the end of it.

I wish you the best of luck, friend!
