What is this about?

Welcome, new trainers, to The PokéCommunity Forums!

Are you new to the forums, and just itching to explore the forums, but unsure where to start? Well, look no further! This thread is a challenge for newcomers to explore around the forum, and post to get the feel of PC and see what we're all about.

This will consist of eight challenges for you guys to complete. You'll receive a badge on this thread for each challenge you complete! This challenge is everlasting, so you can join up and participate anytime! Of course, to prove this, all you need to do is keep up with your progress on this thread.

Rules

1. To join, you'd need to be a member who must have been active for fewer than two (2) months, OR have less than 100 posts.
2. Make one post that you edit with your updates and proof that you finished parts of the event. Try to link the posts and such that you've made, marking *done* beside each challenge, signalling that you've completing it. I'll also be checking to see that you've actually done so, so, make sure you actually do it if you choose to!
3. To get the awards, you'll need to do all eight of the challenges show below.
4. I reserve the right to not award points if you're not actually engaging with your posts; so try to do your best!
5. If you have any questions, you can ask on this thread, or you can message Dragon, Silvadi, or Archy!
   

The Challenges

These are all the challenges ready for you. Feel free to do them at your leisure!

1. Make an introduction thread in the Welcome Lounge, and you'll get the Boulder Badge!
2. Upload an avatar - to do this, all you need to do is go to your user CP, and go to 'Edit Avatar'. Follow the guidelines, and you'll receive the Cascade Badge!
3. Create a Signature - to do this, all you need to do is go to your user CP, and go to 'Edit Signature'. But be sure to follow the signature rules, and you'll receive the Thunder Badge!
4. Welcome at least five other new members to the forums by posting on their welcome thread. Do so while following the rules and guidelines, and you'll receive the Rainbow Badge!
5. Create three different threads in any desired board(s) (for example, Pokemon General). Doing so will net you the Soul Badge!
6. Make a total of 10 posts in any desired board(s). Make sure you follow the rules in each section! Do well, and you'll receive the Marsh Badge!
7. Make a comment on a blog entry - you can check out the blogs in the blogs section linked above, or you can see the latest blog entry on the bottom of the forum index. You will get the Volcano Badge!
8. Send a visitor message to at least three other members on PC - to do this, go to any user's profile, and type something on their message box, and then press "send message"! You'll receive the Earth Badge! But please avoid spamming!
