I highly prefer Gardevoir. Don't get me wrong Espeon is allright as far as pokemon go but I just think Gardevoir is the better pokemon.

I love both of them but its hard not to tell which one I prefer. Gardevoir is prettyful, and Espeon is an Eon. Both have the same weakness and advantages. Gardevoir learns better moves and can learn more then Espeon. Espeon can mainly use Psychic type attacks, while Gardevoir can use Electric, Psychic, and other types. Go with Gardevoir.

Yes,Gardevoir with Psychic and Thunder is far better than Espeon with Psychic and calm mind.

I have 252 Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, and 6 HP. If you want a Moveset try- Psychic, Calm Mind, Thunderbolt, and Ice Punch/Destiny Bond.

[email protected]
EV:252 Sp. attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Psychic
Calm Mind
T-bolt
Ice Punch/Will-O-Wisp

Here's somthing for Espeon too.

[email protected]
EVs:252 HP, 129 Sp. def, 129 def
Nature:
Morning Sun
Psychic
Wish
Baton Pass/Calm Mind

Wish passing Espeon. Hope this helps.

I find Espeon cuter (*waits for all the Gardy club fanatics to pounce*), but Gardy has the better movepool, with access to Bolt, Magical Leaf, and Ice Punch. Use Mullet's set for Gardy (though add ML as a third choice for the Ice P/WoW slot, since it helps with the bog mutant), but for Espeon, I like to capitalize on its high Special Attack with at least two moves:

[email protected] Berry
Modest, 252SpAtk/128HP/128Spd
- Synchronize
Psychic
Bite/HP:Special
Morning Sun
Calm Mind

Wishpassing is fine, but Morning Sun+Wish is pretty much the same as OL. One or the other to free a slot.

both are ok . Personally i like zam but if i had to choose one id choose Espeon it has better stats with a meh movepool. Gardys stats are ok but it makes that up ith a good movepool.

i don't really use either since both are rather fragile. in most cases they get OHKO. they're very OU and quite frankly i don't really like them. if i'm using an OU psychic type i'd have to go with zam as well, even though i rarely have a psychic type cuz i prefer pokemon who can take a couple hits.

They both have nice SpDef stats

Espeon can't sweep due to its move pool

Gardevoir can't sweep since its too slow

trickzam can though due to its nice move pool, nice speed, and nice SpAtk stat which bests that of Espeon and Gardevoir.

[email protected] Choice Band
~Trick
~Calm Mind
~Psychic
~Fire Punch/Ice Punch/HP: Grass/ Thunder Punch/HP: Water

The last move is your choice, just get something that covers our team well. I use HP: Water so I can take out the first and second most OU dark types.

Gardy has the much better movepool... but its stats are a little too balanced for my likes... i mean heres espy with a 130 base SPA, and a 110 base speed... and theres gardy with its 115 base SPA(i think...), and 80 sumthin base speed...

and if its for netbattle, you have hiddenpower at your disposal, so espy all the way.

Plus, Espeon has a kick-*** shiny. ^_^ (Getting a good HP:Special isn't all that hard IG; you do end up taking what you get, but it can work. *nudges HP:Dragon Espeon*)

yes but they're still fragile. just about any normal attack on your normal poke = OHKO. SpDef means nothing when you don't have the physical def and Hp to back it up cuz then the opponent just uses a physical attack and that pretty much takes care of them.

Espyjump by Jumpman16>gardevoir. But if you aren't experienced enough to use it, just stick with the bolt, WoW, psychic, CM gardy.

When given a choice between Espeon and Gardevoir, always use Alakazam. Trust me.
[email protected] Berry
Calm Mind
Thunder/Ice Punch
Psychic
Recover

You've got speed and special attack on your side as opposed to lack of speed a moderate special attack w/ higher special defense. Espeon has (as was said) some really poor moves at its disposal.
You could go mock-exploder Gengar w/ Gardevoir:
[email protected] Berry
Destiny Bond
Will-o-the-Wisp
Psychic
Thunderbolt

This way you cover Skarmory, super stab psychic, and physical sweepers.

Gardevoir > Espeon always. Espeon, just like all its brothers and sisters has the same standard moveset, making them very easy to predict and defeat. Gardevoir on the other had has a very good movepool and much better stats.

Kazam is even more fragile then bother Gardevoir and Espeon, so yeah...

^What the hell? Espeon's MS is nowhere near umbreon, jolteon, flareon or vaporeon's standards. I don't know what you meant there.
