Spoiler:
After crossing route 11,I reached Tapu village from where I headed up to the aether house. As I moved, Hau joined me. When we entered the house, two children started battling us and after that ended ,a to came up and asked for my help. She wanted some photographs of a Pokemon from the haunted old supermarket. I went with her and as I entered the supermarket, I saw things started moving themselves. Somehow I got near a separate room. I entered it and found a pikachu. After watching carefully, I saw that it wasn't a pikachu. It attacked me and while battling with it, I came to know about a new Pokemon ability disguise due to which, the pokemon doesn't takes damage on the first turn. After taking the photo, I returned with the girl, acerola to aether house where we came to know that the team skull numskulls have stolen the little girl's yungoos who battles us before. They asked me to show up alone at the town occupied by them.I entered the town with the help of a police officer and got through all the numskulls to their boss. I defeated the boss and took the yungoos back. As I exited the house they were in, the police officer and acerola showed up. Acerola took the yungoos and had some talk with the officer whom she referred to as uncle nanu. After that they left me and I returned towards tapu village again.

UPDATE #2
Spoiler:
Since the last update I basically just caught my Mankey (Doug) and Petilil (Nancy). Did everything to be done on Route 3 and then grinded for a very long time so that I could beat Hala. Nancy took out Mankey and Makuhita with Sleep Powder/ Leech Seed and Doug finished off Crabrawler with a couple of Brick Breaks to the face.

My Team
Spoiler:
Doug (Level 17) {Male}

Nature: Hardy
Moves: Work Up, Brick Break, Pursuit and Seismic Toss
Ability: Vital Spirit

Nancy (Level 16) {Female}

Nature: Mild
Moves: Mega Drain, Growth, Leech Seed and Sleep Powder
Ability: Own Tempo

Detective's Journal
Spoiler:
In the past week travelling along Route 3 I made two very special friends, Doug the Mankey and Nancy the Petilil. Doug is just as passionate about fighting crime as I am and I consider him an amazing right hand monkey(?) and partner. Nancy takes care of us both and is the most kind hearted Pokemon I've ever encountered.
I haven't seen the kids who call themselves Team Skull around lately. I haven't given up hope though. I'm confident that if I keep travelling the Alola region i'll definitely find more leads!
I almost forgot! I beat the Kahuna of the island, Hala! It was a tough battle, but Doug and Nancy really pulled through for me.
Anyway, until next time,
Clemo.

UPDATE #3
Spoiler:
Made my way to Akala island where I travelled through route 4 (where I caught Mudbray (Steve)) and Paniola Town. Versed Hau and Gladion and then journeyed to Brooklet Hill where I easily took down Lana's Trial with the help of Petilil.

My Team

Nancy (Level 20) {Female}

Nature: Mild

Ability: Own Tempo

Steve (Level 18) {Male}

Nature: Lax

Detective's Journal
Spoiler:
I've made yet another friend and partner in a young Mudbray who I call Steve. He's an absolute beast and would do anything to protect the gang. I finally ran into Team Skull again. They were accompanying a young man named Gladion. We battled and I won. They mentioned something of a Boss and how Gladion was just a 'hired thug'. This is an interesting lead and i'll be sure to follow up on it.
Oh and by the way, I beat the first trial on Akala island. The trial leader was a young girl named Lana who specialised in the water type. Nancy really showed up in this trial and i'm proud of my entire team.
Until next time,
Clemo.

The Adventure (of a Travelling Writer)
Spoiler:

Chapter 5 - In Chargestone Cave

After winning against Clay and receiving the Quake Badge, Hero headed to Chargestone Cave, a cave full of electrified rocks. Some floated due to the magnetism, and some were attracted to others when pushed. The cave was full of steel and electric Pokémon. Hero caught a Ferroseed and named it Jelly Roll.
He was in the middle of the cave when he heard a loud noise and felt the ground quake. Looking down from the top a rock bridge he saw a strange scene: Clay surrounded by holes.
“What are you doing?” Hero shout, but Clay did not hear.
He crossed the rock bridge and ran the way down to where the Gym Leader was. An Excadrill came out from one of the holes around Clay, carrying a lot of stones with a slight red color.
“What are you doing here?” Clay asked when he saw Hero, like he should not be there.
“I'm going to Mistralton. This is the way to there.” Hero said.
“Right. Then keep going your way.”
“Why do you want me out of here quickly?”
“Because you shall not nose around what isn't of your concern.”
Hero sighed.
“Alright, I'm going. Just try not to make this place crash down.”
He turned around to left, but at this moment another voice sounded:
“Stop right now!”
Hero turned around. At the other end of the cave N was looking at them. A bunch of Team Plasma grunts, wearing that weird costumes, stayed behind him.
“Stop right now! You're disturbing the Pokémon that live here!” N said.
“You are a thin, feeble boy so you can't make me stop what I'm doin'!” Clay answered. “Not you nor your cogs!”
“Don't you see that what you're doing is disturbing the Pokémon's peace?” N argued. “Well, you surely can't seet, you're a dumb peasant!”
Clay's face became red and he looked like he could kill N.
“Everybody! Come out!” he shouted.
Pokémon began to come up from the holes.
“Clay! Stop now!” Hero pleaded.
“You too want to mess up with my businesses?” Clay asked enraged, looking back at him.
“No! I'm telling you to hold your Pokémon!” Hero said quickly. “This fight will be very harmful and unnecessary! Look at all your Pokémon! They would be entering in a war in which nobody would gain nothing!”
After hearing him, Clay breathed hard and looked at his Pokémon. They looked back promptly.
“I'm sorry.” Clay said with a crack on his voice. “I don't know what I was thinking. I would make my beloved Pokémon get hurt. It would be awful. I'm sorry.”
“Now will you stop excavating this place?” N asked severely.
“I've collected enough of ruby. I don't really need more.” Clay continued. “I'm heading back to Driftveil. I wish good luck to you in your journey, Hero.”
“See you, Clay!” Hero said.
Clay and his Pokémon began to go away. N walked toward Hero.
“We meet again.” he said. “You're very interesting. You seem to understand Pokémon's emotions better than the average. I'll keep an eye on you.”
Then N turned around and left.
“These guys wanna take away Pokémon from people. I'll keep you always near me, for prudence.” Hero said, touching Pizza's and Jelly Roll's PokéBalls.

@sonic65101

First off I'm sorry you got forgotten and overlook with the ridculous amounts of people doing this. I had e-mail issues among other things

Secondly, I am going to say it right here, USUALLY I would be all for giving a Fire type but, I'm going to give you a choice between Two pokemon, Because Johto and Fire Types don't mix You don't get a decent one until very late into the adventure in Crystal (And I don't want to give everyone starting Johto with Typhlosion all the time. So if your choices are not to your liking well I can give you a fire type another one but you may not get a 3rd party member until Elite four Rematch two.

Let's get on with this long overdue post

Spoiler:

Trainer Class: Veteran Trainer

Patience. Not skill or how well you breed a Pokemon. A plethora of experiences that make the true trainer. You understand, what do in dire situations and how to overcome all obstacles. It may have taken a month to get you trainer licence in Johto, but it was well worth it for this will be the ultimate test of your prowess.

- Grass, Good, Capricorn
- Water, Cyan, Smart and Unattractive

and a choice between
- Fire, Mythical Creatures Slender
or
- May the Fourth Be With You, Computer Science, Steve Jobs

Special Trainer Missions

Starting Favouritism: You must at least use your starter once in an important battle, but if no progress is made after three times, you may start with who ever

Computer Catalog: Catch all electric and Steel Pokemon Possible along with Ditto and Porygon (If you didn't take Like a Phoenix) You may use one pokemon after your complete this

Like a Phoenix (Situational): If you do not use a fire type until the first Elite four. You can add one extra fire member of your team at the elite four and beyond. (Optional)

If you have any questions Just ask me or if you want me to reshuffle your trainer missions just let me know.

@Janp

wow that post screwed with Yarn ~_~
uhhh... he'll try. here's your class?

Spoiler:

Trainer Class: Absolute Goofball
You've been born a natural goof! Obviously. Since childhood, you've caused trouble wherever you go, and you fully embrace that! In the Region of Unova, there's plenty of opportunity to cause trouble, and spread the love of goof across the world!

Your Pokemon:

The "Partner-In-Crime"
Darmanitan: Fire, Muscular, Volcano, Goof (LOOK AT ITS FACE), The closest food, Mythical Creatures
This pokemon has been in on your goofy antics since childhood! No restrictions other than trainer poll!

The Counter-Balance
Beheeyem: Brains, Math, Mars (knew that would be handy :P), Mythical Creatures
This pokemon insists on keeping you in check, and thus, must always be in the first slot of your party, ever since you catch it! Also, it must be involved in every Team Plasma battle, to keep your impressionable mind from being abducted into the team!

The One Who Watches From a Distance
Azumarill: Fairy, Yelling from Girlfriend (just look at azurill, it clearly has been yelled at), magical (eh)
OH MY GOD IT'S ACTUALLY MAGICAL. You must have one part of your diary have to do with a miracle occuring in your adventure, involving your Azumarill. Also, its magic means it must have at least 3 special moves!

Your Trainer Missions!

Goofy Hospitality: You must try to catch every new pokemon you encounter! If you fail, however, you can't catch it anymore. Yeah...

Goofy Trainer Poll: You must ask three people on this forum their favorite item! Then, you must give those three items to your pokemon to hold.

Literal GOOFsanity: You must have a diary! Not only that, but it must make absolutely no sense. Just, no sense. At all. Do whatever you have to, just make it as weird as possible.

Optional Mission:

The Cult of Goof: You are starting up a cult, worshipping Janpulous, the god of GOOF. In your diary entries, you can include another entry, from the POV of someone else. This also must make no sense. YOU ARE CORRUPTING THEIR MIND.

wow, this is a unique class... hope it works, have fun...
Wow, thanks a lot :D Let the Goof begin...

BTW, what is Yarn's favourite item?

The Doyen of Vets

Update 3

Spoiler:

I made my way to the Cycling Road only to find a sleeping Snorlax blocking my path. Snorlax are Pokemon who generally tend to inhabit the mountainous areas, but make their way down to areas more populated by humans when they need to satisfy their seemingly never ending hunger. It was no problem. I played a melody from the flute that I got from old man Fuji and that Snorlax woke up and made his way back to the mountains. I then made my way through the Cycling Road, eradicating the pathway of the hooligans and ruffians who loitered about, and made my way to Fuchsia City.

In Fuchsia City, I met back up with Koga, the best Ninja Assassin that ever served. His policy was to speak (and move) softly (and silently) and carry a big blowgun. He specialized in poisons and used his skill and knowledge to lethal effect. He was instrumental in ensuring our victory as he assassinated key generals of the enemy forces. It was good to be in his stoic presence once more. I was especially surprised, however, to find out that he had a little girl; Janine. Koga always made a point of legacy. With that in mind, it was no surprise that he was training his daughter in the mysterious arts of ninjutsu. In any case, I informed Koga of my purpose and we got straight to the point of it. I cleared his Gym of poison experts and eventually took him down with my Growlithe.

Afterwards, Koga told me of the rare and endangered species of Pokemon being preserved at the Safari Zone. Of course, this would be beneficial to Oak’s Pokedex mission so I explored every inch of that place. Eventually, I found a pair of gold dentures which apparently belonged to the Safari Zone Warden and I stumbled on to a lodge hidden in the depths of the park. There, I was awarded the HM for Surf.

After my Safari Zone adventure, I made my way back to Lavender Town; clearing a myriad of trainers and another Snorlax along the way. There, I heard rumblings of the chaos that was ensuing in Saffron City. Apparently, Giovanni and Team Rocket took control of the City and occupied the Silph Co. building where they held the company’s president as a hostage. Silph Co. were the creators of my Silph Scope and the company was well known for the creation, manufacture, and distribution of Pokeballs. They were also known for being on the cutting edge of technology and medicine, creating everything that a Pokemon Trainer would need for his Pokemon partners and himself on his journey (from pokeballs, to HP and Status healing medicines, to Stat inducing items). Rumor has it that SIlph Co. was on the verge of creating a Pokeball that would be capable of capturing any Pokemon without fail; a Master Pokeball. If I had to guess, I would say that Team Rocket and Giovanni were after that Masterball. Surely it would make their jobs in capturing rare and powerful Pokemon a whole lot easier.

I hastily made my way to Saffron City. I used my military training to avoid any Team Rocket Grunts and snuck into Silph Co. HQ. I searched every floor of the building, defeating team Rocket Grunts as I went, until I was able to locate a Card Key. After that, I was able to clear every floor of the building as thoroughly as I could. I was just one transport panel away from coming face to face with Giovanni, when who else but that punk Gary Oak stood in my way. His ever presence in any place that Team Rocket was up to no good made me think for a split second that maybe that brat took up that Rocket’s offer at the Nugget Bridge in Cerulean City to join up with that band of miscreants. Those fears, however, were alleviated when the kid told me that he only sought the fame and glory in single handedly destroying Team Rocket. I was relieved for the elder Oak, and felt sorry for him at the same time. Relieved that his grandson was wasn’t a bad egg, but felt sorry because the man who would carry on the Oak family name is a foolish and arrogant brat who was way in over his head. In any case, I dispatched the younger Oak and made my way to the top floor where the leader of Team Rocket awaited. Giovanni was just like his mother. They saw Pokemon as nothing more that tools to exploit and abuse for their own personal benefit and enrichment. That type of thinking grinds my gears and I made sure to channel my anger into beating that man. My Pokemon felt that same as I and they fought to ensure his defeat. Giovanni, however, made it clear that even though we won the battle, the war was still ongoing.

I healed up, paid a visit to the Fighting Dojo and did some additional training, and then made my way to Sabrina’s Gym. Sabrina was a kid with a special, terrible ability. She had psychic powers. She was kept as a weapon for the Government to use. They would use her telepathy to obtain enemy secrets and the level of her telekinesis was so destructive that it could decimate entire regions at a time. I couldn’t abide what they were doing to this girl and fought tooth and nail to ensure that she was granted her freedom after the war. The most I could have done for her was to get her some measured freedom whereby she would still be monitored because of her power. It was a small consolation, but she was grateful nonetheless.

I cleared her Gym and finally went face to face with her. Before I did, I used a Fire Stone on my Growlithe who recently learned Flamethrower. My Arcanine and his Bite made short work of Sabrina. Afterwards, we said our goodbyes and I knew my next destination had to be Cinnabar Island.

I flew to Pallet Town and set off towards Cinnabar Island. I trained my Dragonair on the sea routes between Pallet Town and Cinnabar Island and between Cinnabar Island and the Seafoam Islands. I immediately returned to Cinnabar Island upon completion of my training. I found that the Gym was closed. On the door, I saw a note. The note was from Old Blaine. Blaine was the best code breaker I knew. He always fancied riddles, trivia and puzzles. True to form, the note was a direction to look for the key to the Gym (the “Secret Key”) in the old burnt down Cinnabar Mansion. I took on the challenge and quickly found the key (beating trainers along the way). I made my way to the Gym. I had the option to take a quiz and skip the battles but that’s not how I work. I fought every trainer until I made my way up to Blaine and my Arcanine and Dragonair made short work of his fire types.

Upon exiting the Cinnabar Gym, I met up with Bill the Pokemon expert. He was on his way to the first three isles of the Sevii Islands. He offered to take me with him to One Island. I knew that was near where the Legendary Moltres resides. We arrived at One Island. Bill met up with his friend, Celio. Celio gave me a mission to deliver a meteorite to the Game Corner gentleman on Two Island. Before that, however, I made my way to Mt. Ember (beating the trainers along the way) and I swiftly bested Moltres in a duel. Afterwards, I went to Two Island to visit the Game Corner gentleman. There, I found out that the gentleman’s daughter, Lostelle, had gone missing and that she would likely be in Three Island where Kanto’s most notorious motorcycle gang was running roughshod over the locals. I went to Three Island, quickly dispatched the motorcycle gang, and made my way to an isolated forest at the very end of the island. At the very edge of the forest, I found Lostelle being terrorized by a rogue Hypno. I beat the Hypno and escorted Lostelle back to her father on Two Island. There I delivered up the meteorite, went back to One Island, and Bill and I made our way back to Cinnabar Island.

My original intent was to go back to Viridian City; however, the Gym Leader for the Viridian City Gym was still MIA. From there, I decided that I had to test the power of the other two Legendary Birds. I journeyed to the Kanto Power Plant because I heard that Zapdos resided close to there. Sure enough, I encountered this mighty beast and bested him in battle. From there, I flew to Fuchsia City and made my way to the Seafoam Islands from there. I explored the depths of the Islands until I crossed paths with Articuno. Skarmory made short work of the Legend.

Word immediately came to me that the Viridian City Gym Leader had returned. I flew there at once. I fought my way through every trainer in the Gym until I came face to face with the Gym Leader. To my utter amazement, it was Giovanni, the Leader of Team Rocket. It all made sense now. How Team Rocket was always one step ahead of the law. Their Boss was privy to the inner workings of the Government as an appointed Gym Leader. Of course he would know how to use that inside information to work and manipulate the system. I had to put an end to it. We fought one hell of a battle. Eventually, I had to call on my Dragonair to bail me out of a tough spot. We ultimately prevailed and as a reward for our hard work, Dragonair evolved into Dragonite. Giovanni reflected on how he was thwarted at every avenue by the efforts of me and my Pokemon partners. The intensity of our encounters, as well as the moral stance I took reminded Giovanni of how he was as a young trainer. He revealed to me that he cherished his Pokemon and genuinely wanted to walk the straight and narrow path as a Pokemon Master. However, he reminded me of the cold and demanding nature of his mother. All she cared about was the family legacy and she bullied and terrorized Giovanni until he conformed to her vision of who he should be. Giovanni confessed to me his regret at who he’d become and was remorseful for all of his actions. Right there and then, he set everything in motion to disband Team Rocket. Despite his catharsis, however, he still needed to face judgment for all of the crimes that he and Team Rocket committed. Before I could apprehend him, however, he disappeared. I did my part in dismantling Team Rocket. The Authorities should be able to track down Giovanni and I trust that they would round up whatever remnants of the organization linger about.

I acquired all eight badges from the Gym Challenge. Logically, the next step of my journey should be to take on the Pokemon League Elite Four Challenge. I healed up at the Pokemon Centre and set forward for Victory Road. En route, however, I once again encountered that brat Gary Oak. We battled and once again, he was no match for me. I made my way up to Victory Road and through the said cave. As we do, my Pokemon partners and I rose to the occasion and beat every trainer that came our way. After we spent some considerable time training up, I finally decided that it was time to take on the Pokemon League Challenge.

First up was Lorelei. The young lady was a child prodigy from the Sevii Islands. She specialized in Ice type Pokemon and proved to be a tough cookie to break down. My Skarmory and Arcanine, however, got the job done and took care of the Ice Queen. Second was Bruno. Bruno was the region’s most famous martial arts master. His meditation methods and focus on endurance and the toughness of both body and mind is reflected in his Fighting type specialty. Skarmory had an answer for all of his Pokemon though. Thirdly was Agatha. She was one of the most experienced elders in Kanto. I knew her because Professor Oak was once her lover. She was left spurned when Oak decided to retire from his career as a Pokemon trainer to become a Pokemon Researcher. She’s a feisty old bat who readily unleashes her Ghost type Pokemon on all those who have the guts to challenge her abilities. Arcanine tore through her team. Fourthly, I came face to face with the recognized Champion of the Pokemon League; Lance, the Dragon Master. Lance hailed from Blackthorne City in the neighboring region of Johto. He is the type of white knight that children read about in story books. Brave, chivalrous, and one of the toughest trainers around. My Dragonite was more than a match for Lance and his Dragons and I bested the toughest trainer the League had to offer. To my frustration, however, Lance revealed to me that Gary Oak had faced the Elite Four mere moments before I had. He was the new Champion. He was the final challenge I had to face. Nevertheless, I persevered and my team one more rose to the occasion. My three partners bested Gary Oak through the strong bond that we shared. This is what Professor Oak explained to his distraught grandson after our match. I was inducted into the Hall of Fame as the New Champion.

There wasn’t much to do after my Hall of Fame debut. I worked on Oak’s Pokedex. After a while, Celio called me to One Island with a mission. I helped him establish a communications link with his associate in the Hoenn Region by travelling across all of the Sevii Islands to help him recover two stones; the Ruby and Sapphire. Along the way, I destroyed the remnants of Team Rocket. Upon completion of this task, I heard that a supernatural entity based in Cerulean Cave was causing considerable trouble for the citizens of Cerulean. I had to go and check it out. I explored the depths of the cave and came across a strange creature. It resonated some unusually strong psychic power. My mind immediately went to some records I came across whilst exploring the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island. Those records spoke of a clone of the Legendary Pokemon Mew. A Clone that was twice as powerful and twice as dangerous. It was awesome and uncontrollable. Neither my Arcanine, nor my Skarmory could contain it. It took the might of my Dragonite to finally pacify this creature.

After this, I would make my way back to Celadon City to spend the rest of my days watching over my daughter.

Just for the sake of coherence and completeness:

The Doyen of Vets- Full Story

Spoiler:

Some say war is hell, I say hell is what a soldier feels when a war is over and he's been rendered completely useless. It feels like ages since that last stand at Mt. Silver. Kanto has entered peace time and there's a lot of rebuilding to do. Women, children, elders and the few who survived like me are all that remains. I served dutifully as the warrior I was trained to be, but there's more work to be done. Rebuilding takes alot of time and effort and I aim to help anybody who needs it in these most desperate of times. I go again.

That scientist, old man Oak asked me to pick up a package on his behalf from the Viridian City Poke Mart. Before I set off to complete the task, Oak's brat of a grandson, Gary, wanted to test his skill as a trainer against a real man. The elder Oak loaned me a Bulbasaur and I made quick work of that punk and his Charmander. That little Pokemon deserves a better partner.

In any case, I got the package and to my surprise, it was one of Oak's digital contraptions; he called it a Pokedex. Oak wanted me to take that Dex and take a journey through Kanto. He needed an update on all of the remaining species of Pokemon left in the region after it was nearly decimated in the war. The old man also asked me to test the strength of the new Gym Leaders and Elite 4. He needed to make sure that the lot of these so called "leaders" could hold their own and protect their people against a resurgent force of the criminal underworld, Team Rocket. I took care of Madame Rocket early on in the war, but rumor has it that her son took over the family business and its been thriving since then. Oak also said that his grandson wanted to take on the Pokemon League challenge and he wanted me too keep and eye on the kid. I told him that I would do the job for him. Maybe along the way I could help the people of my country get back on their feet. That's my greater purpose in life, that's why I became a soldier; to serve my country.

All of my Pokemon partners were killed in battle during the war, but they left behind offspring; a Growlithe, a Dratini, and a Skarmory. All of them wanted to follow in their parents' footsteps so they all decided to come with me on my new journey. I got my new Pokemon partners, stopped by Professor Oak's house; his sweet granddaughter, Daisy, had borrowed my Town Map, I got back my map and set off.

It was on the outskirts of Viridian City that I met back up with that punk Gary Oak and he challenged me to a rematch. I beat him all the same. Back in Viridian City, I listened to the concerns of the people; they were worried that their City's Gym was closed and its Leader was MIA. That's something that I would have to look into. I made my way to Viridian Forest and spoke and battled with the excitable young people who were exploring the area. They were all obsessed with bugs.

I then came out in Pewter City. There, I met with its people, explored the museum, and battled with its Gym Leader, Brock. I knew Brock's father, Flint, from my time in the military. Old Flint was an expert in minerals and he was a hardest man I ever knew. The kid fought well, but his Onyx eventually went down to my Growlithe. It's bite was too much.

After that, I went to Mount Moon. Along the way, I fought alot of kids (one obsessed with shorts) and met a strange man who wanted me to buy a Magikarp for a ridiculous amount of cash. I refused. Whist making my way through Mount Moon, I came across a rejuvenated Team Rocket. They were all young, arrogant, inexperienced punks that I made short work of. Near the Mountain's entrance, I was able to wrestle a rare Helix Fossil away from a Rocket scientist, but he made off with a Dome Fossil instead.

As I entered Cerulean City, I thought I would catch up with Bill; a young, hotshot Tech Expert from Johto who was our best code-breaker during the war. Before setting foot on Nugget Bridge, that punk Gary Oak accosted me. I made short work of the boy again. I beat five trainers on Nugget Bridge and then came across a Team Rocket Grunt whom I dispatched easily. He wanted me to join Team Rocket, but I refused. I fought every trainer all the way up to Bill's Cottage by the sea and found the crazy lad had turned himself into a Clefairy. He instructed me and I was able to change him back. As a reward for my kindness, I received an SS Ticket.

I made my way back to the Cerulean Gym and took on it's Leader, Misty. I learned that Misty's 3 older sisters used to entertain Kanto's armed forces during the war. They were cheerful girls used to give the boys a lift in spirits when all hope seemed lost. Her Starmie was deadly fast, but all 3 of Growlithe, Dratini, and Skarmory made sure that Misty was beaten. After my victory, I spoke with the citizens of Cerulean, as well as the police, and found out that Team Rocket was making trouble for a family at the edge of the city. I saw to it that that Rocket grunt got his comeuppance and made my way through the Underground path to Vermillion City. I would rest myself for now.

Upon a short rest (and some needed training in and around the Vermillion area) I boarded the SS Anne. I fought my way up through the vessel until I made it to the Captain's door. Then, only that arrogant brat, Gary Oak, stood in my way. I dispatched him without even breaking a sweat. Shortly after going back to heal my Pokemon, I met with the Captain and obtained the HM Cut (I had a Bulbasaur as my "starter" so I used him for Cut). Afterwards, I entered the Vermillion Gym and caught up with my old friend, Lt. Surge. Surge wasn't what you would call the sharpest tool in the shed. He was always better at breaking bones than breaking codes. I guess that was why he used Electric types (they compensated for his shortcomings in a manner of speaking). He more likely used them because, as he would put it, he likes to make things go BOOM. What else would you expect from the top Explosives Expert in the service. Nevertheless, he was always good for a laugh and you knew he always had your back. As you would think, Surge proved to be as tough as a brick wall, however, brick walls can break. Growlithe and Skarmory saw to most of his Pokemon. His Raichu though, I needed my Dratini to finish the job. It's reward was an evolution into Dragonair.

After a brief stop at the Pokemon Center, I made my way back through the Underground Tunnel Back to Cerulean. There, I picked up my Bike for the future Cycling Road and fought my way up to the Rock Tunnel. I went through blind, of course (no Flash) but I made it through all the same. I made a quick stop through Lavender Town and in particular, the Pokemon House. There, I spoke with a girl who said that Mr. Fuji, an old scientist I knew from war time and who ran the place, was assaulted and captured by Team Rocket when he went to confront them about the murder of a Marowak. Apparently, they killed her whilst she was trying to protect her son, an infant Cubone, from their cruelty. In any case, they held him in Pokemon Tower and I needed a device called a Silph Scope to reveal the ghosts hidden in the Tower. The road through to Saffron City, the location of Silph Co. HQ, was, unfortunately, blocked off. However, if Team Rocket made it to the top floor of the Pokemon Tower unscathed, then surely they would have access to these said Silph Scopes. Word on the street is that Team Rocket run Celadon City and have a major base in the basement of the Celadon Game Corner. Since Giovanni was last sighted there, I figured that Celedon City was my best bet to obtain that Silph Scope.

I pushed through to Celadon City. I picked up some Tea from a lonely Old Lady. I bought a Fire Stone for my Growlithe to use at a later date to be determined. I explored the city, spoke to the locals to confirm the rumors and made my way to the Game Corner. I got confirmation that Team Rocket ran this joint; using it as a front for their criminal enterprise in this city. I found the passage to their secret base and fought every last pathetic grunt who stood in my way. These punks aren't like any other henchmen I've faced before. During the war, I fought a lot of misguided fools who thought all of the mayhem the caused was towards some greater good. Team Rocket's members know they're the bad guys. They know the gravity of the chaos they cause. Most of all though, they know they only do it to fatten their wallets and claim power through fear. They disgust me. Anyway, after making short work of the last two Rocket Grunts, I came face to face with Giovanni. That man had an aura of power. He is one to be feared, yet, respected at the same time; just like his mother. He proved to be just as strong as well. I had to rely on Dragonair, my strongest partner, to get the edge over him. After I defeated him, he dropped what looked like an optical device. Upon further inspection, I found out it was a Silph Scope; just what I needed.

I rushed back to Lavender Town and started my ascent up the Pokemon Tower. To my utter frustration, Gary Oak stood in my way on the first floor up. I beat the brat once more; he's getting soft. I had no particular trouble with him this time around. After taking care of the brat, I pushed forward. The Rocket Grunts I faced here proved weaker that those at the Rocket base. I had no particular trouble until I was at the foot of the final flight of stairs upwards. I found that a furious ghostly entity blocked my path. It was the ghost of the dead Marowak that I heard about at the Pokemon House. I had to engage it in one last battle before it could rest in peace. I prevailed and Marowak moved on to the afterlife. Once I arrived at the top floor, I found no trouble in plowing through the remaining Rocket Grunts and rescuing Mr. Fuji. Once he was safely back at the Pokemon House, Mr. Fuji bestowed upon me a Pokemon Flute; a useful tool in future use. I had unfinished business in Celadon City, however, so I promptly made my way back.

Upon arrival, I headed straight to the Gym. After dispatching a perverted pedophile who was peeping in on the young girls in the Gym and doing things that no grown man ought to be doing in public, I made my way inside. I made my way to the Gym Leader whom I realized was a young woman named Erika. This young lady bore an uncanny resemblance to a nurse that I was sweet on in the early years of that war. She always had a knack for herbal remedies. We had a good thing going for the first six months we were stationed together, that is, until she asked for a transfer from out of the blue. She was gone with no explanation and no goodbyes. I didn't hear from her again until nine months later. She looked as beautiful as the first day I saw her. Her words were pretty vague though. She said something about not wanting to place this heavy burden on me. About not wanting to commit me to a role that she knew I couldn't fulfill as long the war was ongoing. She left me and I never saw her again. Not until now when I looked at this girl Erika. She looks the splitting image of that young nurse I fell in love with all those years ago. All except for her eyes; she has my mother's eyes. In any case, I wanted to see what this young lady could do in a Pokemon battle so I gave it my all. Growlithe and Skarmory ensured my victory, but I have to admit, my daughter's one hell of a fighter. I would have told her how much I was proud of her, how much I loved her. I couldn't drop that bombshell on her though. Her late mother chose not to tell her about me and I want to respect her wishes. I know now though, I have a purpose beyond Oak's mission. I have something precious in this world that I have to protect, even though she won't know it herself. In the mean time though, all I can do is to cripple Team Rocket. I have to make sure that they get nowhere near her. I ran Giovanni out of Celadon and now I have a personal reason to bring down their organization. Though it ached me to do so, I adhered to the niceties and bid her adieu and made my way to the Cycling Road. After removing a wild Snorlax from my path (thanks again for the Flute Mr. Fuji), I went and got the HM Fly and geared up to take on the Cycling Road. My mission to be continued.

Detective's Journal
Spoiler:
Since I last wrote, I've beaten two more island trials! One against a powerful fire type trainer named Kiawe and the other against a beautiful Grass type trainer named Mallow. Struggling with Mallow's challenge, Doug gave me a very special gift; he evolved into a Pokemon called Primeape! We beat Mallow and we're ten times stronger as a team now!
Onto the important issue, I've seen that Gladion boy around a few times. Once, battling him at the Battle Royal arena alongside two other friends of mine; Hau and Kukui, both from my hometown. The other time I saw him was at a motel that I passed by. I tried to speak to him but all he said was 'Get out'. And that's where I decided to leave the conversation. I know that there's something going on with this kid and I know that he has an affiliation with the group I've been investigating; Team Skull, but I feel that there's more going on with this kid than any of us can comprehend. I guess we'll just have to wait until I run into him again.
Anyway, next for me is to go challenge the Kahuna of Akala island Olivia. She specialises in the rock type. Doug, Nancy and Steve should all be a great help in that battle due to their typing. Wish me luck!
Until next time,
Clemo.

The Adventure (of a Travelling Writer)
Spoiler:

Chapter 5 – Celestial Tower

After getting out of Chargestone Cave, Hero arrived at Mistralton City. He went to the PokéCenter to rest a little, then made his way to the Gym. It was closed, though, and the Gym Leader seemed to have gone to the Celestial Tower. So he headed to there to find her and challenge her to a battle. Hero rushed through Route 7, walking above the grass on wood ways. It was said to him that these ways were used by the people in Mistralton to go to the Celestial Tower.
The Tower facade drew a spiral around it. He entered and saw some gravestones lied around. The Celestial Tower was a place where dead Pokémon were buried. There was no sign of Skyla, Mistralton's Gym Leader. Hero climbed the stairs that accompanied the walls round shape and arrived at the second floor, that was filled with gravestones. As he began to walk through them, he saw a floating candle passing in front of his eyes. Curious about it, he followed the candle. It suddenly stopped and turned around in midair. The candle had a face with a nasty smile. Hero suddenly felt tired.
“Wow! You must be a Pokémon! This means I need you!” said the boy.
He sent Jelly Roll out. As son as she (Jelly Roll was a lady) got out, she began to spin like a top.
“You like to do it, right? There's no problem, just attack that candle!” said Hero.
Jelly Roll used Gyro Ball, but it seemed to have done nothing to the candle. Then it blew a lot of fire at Jelly Roll, who was defeated.
“Come back, take a rest! Go, Pizza!” said Hero, as he called Jelly Roll back and sent his Seismitoad out. “Pizza, use Muddy Water!”
Pizza spat a jet of mussy water that hit the candle and threw it away.
“Where has it gone?” Hero asked, running to the place where the Pokémon seemed to have fallen, but it had simply disappeared. “Damn! I guess Pizza attack was super effective! I had to be more subtle!”
Hero called Pizza back and kept walking between the graves toward the staircase to the next floor. Then he saw another floating candle.
“Ok, this time I'm gonna catch it! But how will I do it? Jelly Roll is weak and Pizza is too much strong… Well, maybe there's a chance...”
Hero approached the floating candle slowly. He put his hand in his pocket and picked a Quick Ball. Then he threw it at the Pokémon. The Ball opened and encapsulated it, then falling in the ground. It shook once, twice, three times. Then… puff! It had caught its target! Hero rushed and picked the PokéBall up.
“I'm gonna call you Truffle, cause you're small!” he said.
“Well, well, what a strange name to give to a Pokémon.” said a man's voice behind Hero.
He turned around to see an old man staring at him.
“I'm always hungry, that's while I give food's names to my Pokémon.” said Hero, a little ashamed.
“Well, what's important is treating them with love.”
“I suppose it is. Excuse me, have you seen Skyla?”
“Skyla? I saw her passing through here fast like a lightning.”
“Thank you. I need to see her.”
Hero rushed to the stairs. He passed through all the floors of the tower and arrived at the roof deck. There was a woman there in front of a bell.
“Hello! Are you Skyla?” Hero asked.
“Yes. Who are you?” she answered. Her voice was soft.
“I'm Hero! I want to challenge you for Mistralton's Gym's Badge!”
“Well, you could have waited for me to return to the Gym.”
Now that Hero saw that running after her was not polite, as he could have simply waited at the gym, he felt ashamed.
“But don't worry.” Skyla said. “We can have our battle. I came here to take care of a hurt bird, but now she's cured and have flown away. Look, since you're here, do you want to ring the bell?”
“The bell?” Hero repeated.
“Yeah. It soothes the spirits of Pokémon buried here. The way it sounds also shows the character of the people who rang it. Give a try.”
“O… OK!”
Hero stepped on the platform where Skyla were and approached the bell. It was an old, brown bell with geometrical patterns at the top. Hero held the clapper and moved it towards and backwards. The bell rang spreading clear, soft slams that somehow transmitted a sensation of peace.
“This sound… You're kind and strong. Am I right?” asked Skyla.
“I'm not sure.” Hero said.
“Come on, don't be modest. I know. I'll find out in our battle. So we better head back to Mistralton.”
“Ok!” Hero answered, excited. A battle at Mistralton's Gym awaited for him.

Explorer's journal entry 6
Spoiler:
After reaching aether house again, I came to know that lillie has been kidnapped by the team skull guys. The boy gladion came in suddenly. He seemed to be angry knowing that lillie and her cosmog was taken. When he calmed down he asked me and hau to help him find lillie. As I reached the port, the old police officer came and asked for a battle. I defeated him. After hau's arrival, gladion told us that lillie must me in aether paradise. Gladion took us to aether paradise. The workers there started attacking us and we understood that they were doing something wrong. They were not the good guys they seemed to be at first meeting. Somehow, defeating the workers and team skull members and their leader, we finally reached lillie. There we came to know that lillie and gladion were siblings and lusamine was their mother. She didn't wanted to listen to them and she used cosmog to open ultra wormholes throughout alola. We battled the ultra beast somehow and when it was going in It's own world, lusamine and guzma joined it and disappeared. We relaxed that night and next morning I saw lillie in a new look. She was dressed like a trainer. She wanted to find her mother and also to cure her cosmog which wasn't moving after the incident. Gladion handed her the sun flute, which was supposed to summon the legendary Pokemon of alola if played along with moon flute. We headed towards poni island. There we were told about the legendary Pokemon by the kahuna hapu. She advised us to head to exeggutor island to find the moon flute. We went there and brought back the moon flute. Hapu advised us to cross the vast poni canyon and reach the alter and play the flutes there. But she wanted to see if I was powerful enough to do so as the canyon was a harsh place. So she battled me and got beated. We headed ahead and after battling many trainer, we finally reached the end of the canyon.

@sonic65101

Thanks. I may not post regularly since I have both a part-time job and full-time college to deal with, though.

Two boys walked up to me. One of them looked just like the child I was supposed to give Pokemon.
"Hi, I'm Me," said the boy. "You looks like Profesor Aid."
"Sorry, I'm not Profesor," I replied. "I don't even know someone named Aid."
"Goof," said other boy.
"No, I mean you look like Profesor's assistent," said Me, ignoring his weird friend.
"Ohhh. Yeah, that's me," I said with smile. "Are you ready, for your adventure?"
I quickly opened tube with three Pokeballs.

Me's eyes shined with exciment and something else. Something, I couldn't recognize back then. Ohhh boy, it was chlling look on his face.

Roxie's POV:
Spoiler:
That punks! I was just rocking my way through Virbank to my concert. My own concert, after all these years of practising. But these punks! They appeared, beat me and now, they want me to help them find Team Plasma Grunts. Like, excuse me? Team Plasma was defeated 2 years ago.
"Goof," said one of the punks. I honestly never heard him say anything else.
"Yeah, looks like they were here," answered his friend.
How can he understand him? It was already dark now and I barely saw in front of me. I was scared.
"Someone's coming," said the friend calmly. He clicked on Pokeball on his belt and Azumarill appeared.
That same moment, person appeared in front of us.
"PIRATE!" I screamed. And blacked out...
