Hello friends,
I am very new to fire red hacking but I have been doing my best to learn scripting diligently and wrap my head around hex codes and so much more. I am using fire red 1.0 as a base to experiement, and teach myself various things, I have noticed however that when I open the menu at the start of the game, the text box is glitchy as if the pallete it is using is corrupted or incorrect.

If anyone has seen this error before and could help me understand what is causing it or how to remove it, I would be very appreciative.
Thanks

(edit: I will add a photo when my account is able to do so)

Does this happen before you edit the ROM? If so, you need to find another version. People most commonly use "1636 - Pokemon Fire Red (U)(Squirrels).gba"
