this certainly was inspired by the outrageous number of serious threads atm

so are you a serious person? how do you react in tense situations? do you make jokes to lighten the mood, or stay focused on the topic at hand?
and how do you react to teasing at your expense? are you able to laugh it off, or try and list off reasons why the other person is wrong? (aka SUPER SERIOUS DUDE)

i'm serious whenever i want to be, however i have an issue of not being able to take situations seriously and making a joke out of them, and that tends to get people upset with me. i am awful when people tease me for their expense. i'm too sensitive and i'll take it personally.

I'm serious when it's needed, but that's it, I don't like being seen as overly serious ^^

I think I'm pretty serious person contrary to how most of my posts make me look. I don't think being serious means you need to be devoid of humour.

I'm almost never serious, and I'm sure it unnerves my co-workers sometimes :D

A joke and a light hearted approach just makes most situations better. Most, not all.
